The Saracen's Head

A sumptuous room where the King sleeps. This room contains the King's finest belongings and beautiful possessions.. and we're not always talking about inanimate objects. Girls, if you're planning to get inside this room, just be prepared for the fallout when the King gets bored of you, which he usually does.

The Queen's Apartments
This is where Queen Katherine often retreats to to hide from the chaos of the English court. However, the room full of Ladies in Waiting often brings with it a vast quantity of admirers and courtiers which pleases the Queen. If you're looking for love, music, poetry and all the trappings of a fairytale, you better hope to get invited in here. That's right boys, entrance into the room is by the Queen's authority only... so you better be nice.

The Queen's Bedchamber
Formally frequented by His Majesty on a regular basis, it has now become the quiet sanctuary of Queen Katherine. Only her Ladies in Waiting, servants and the King himself are allowed in here... but more often than not you will find the Queen finding solace in quiet prayer which she prefers not to be disturbed.

Library
The King is an avid reader and so the room is filled with wall to wall books, mostly on theology, religion and politics. It is also in here that most of the King's business is conducted by either himself or one of his trusted friends delegates such as Wolsey or More.

Kitchen's
Mostly filled with the hustle and bustle of servants of the King's court, you can occasionally find one of the gentry in here. So much waste is created, that why shouldn't one use the opportunity to sell the decadent leftovers to the less fortunate and make a bit of profit! Besides that... the staff who serve at banquets see an awful lot, if you're paying them, they can see an awful lot more and report back to you...

Servant's Quarters
Where the servants eat, sleep and live. Those lucky enough to work in the royal household at least. Seen anything interesting today? This is the place to kick back, relax and share the court gossip with each other without the judgment of the upper classes. Just who do they think they are anyway?! Like their all so squeaky clean... People in here know all the dirty little secrets of the Royal Court, so you might want to keep them sweet if they have something on you ladies and gentlemen...

Full of fountains, twisting path, a knot garden, vast walkways... the garden is yet another example of the decadence of Henry court and Wolsey's (the former owner of Hampton Court before he 'donated' it to the King) tastes. The perfect place for lovers to stroll under the watchful eye of chaperones.

Hampton Court Park
A vast estate filled with plenty of deer. Take shelter in the large forest or go hunting across the fields with the King's best. Also a fabulous place for picnics of any size.

Prison Cells
For the lower classes who dare to cross the Monarch or Church. Sounds of torture fill the air and the rat infested straw is not the best for a good nights sleep. Repent while you still can, and it might only be a short spell for you... Generally, this is a place to be avoided at all costs!

Prison Rooms
A lot nicer than the cells below, but still not the most lavish of rooms. If you are a friend of the King's and upset him, you might end up spending a brief spell in here til you apologise. And those gentry who really tick him off... well... enjoy the short time in luxury while you can, it'll most likely be the chopping block for you. So sorry.
