Some of you fellers that work in schools have to show off and show us your nice floors. Since I don't have any floors I can make shine this is the next best thing. It's about 25 years old and no Michigan doesn't have so much money they use gold spigots. Some clown or clowns over the years I suspect used acid bowl cleaner or something else on it and took the chrome finish off.

Oh my gosh!

That is one beautiful shiny water cooler.

How do you do that? Lot's of elbow grease I suspect or daily polishing with a chemical?

You certainly aren't kidding! jumpsmiley.gif

I take a wet cotton cleaning cloth and sprinkle a little Bar Keepers Friend on the cloth to remove any water deposits left on the fountain overnight. Then I take a dry cloth to remove the water and residue from the BKF, then follow that up with a polishing cloth (any dry cotton cloth will do) and rub the heck out of it. I don't use any stainless steel cleaner at all. It might seem like extra work but I think it's worth it in the end.

I printed a copy of that shiny water cooler and posted it above my desk. The next time someone says our coolers can not come clean and shiny I will have something to show them. 10.gif

coolsmiley.gif Very nice Dadeedwain! Would you like me to post the photo on the Boilerroom page? If I have your permission?

In case you're not sure where that page is - it is here:

Dadeedwain,

One of my co-workers made a comment the other day about how crazy I am to have a picture of a shiney water cooler above my desk.

I think he is just jealous that he can't get things to shine like that. nod.gif
