welcome
BESTF (Brodak’s Elite Summer Training Facilities) is definitely one of the greatest Olympians training camps in all of the country, sending many, many young adults out to the Olympics and to other teams across the U.S. They excel in training the gymnasts and swimmers, but there are also trainers for soccer, diving, snowboarding and many more. It was started in 1956 so that gymnasts could have a place to train, and later opened the facilities up for other summer sports, finally in 1987 for the winter games. After a while of Brodak’s just being a summer camp, they voted to make it either year round or just for summer, whichever the parents preferred, or could afford.
But, as it is for any normal high-school gathering, testosterone and estrogen fuel the teenagers here at camp, sometimes for the worst. There’s drama, betrayal, one-night-stands, and it’s all behind closed doors. You wouldn’t want the dean to find out you had sex with your trainer, would you? That’s what I thought. It’s a crazy life, and it sometimes seems like it’s not worth it. And everyone misses home sometimes, and wanted to have just a normal life, but then all of the people here just have to remind themselves that they were Born For This.

For now, unpack your bags, claim your bed in the dorms (everyone knows that the ones by the windows are better) and rekindle friendships and romances from last summer. kitchens. Got a rumbly in your tumbly late at night? Hit up the kitchen, where the cabinets are never locked and the only thing to worry about is getting caught eating high-carb foods by your trainer.

dining hall. This is where we eat, exciting, I know. You can expect high-protein, low-calorie foods that are sure to put a smile on your face. Every clique has it's own table, so be sure to stay clear of the one that isn't yours.

auditorium. This is where camp-wide announcements are given, and also where the end-of-summer talent show takes place. Sure, it's old and dusty, but it has real sentimental value, don't you think?

backstage. Either you're about to perform or give a speech of some sort, or you're too busy hooking up in the curtains. How scandalous! Sadly, this is one of the few "romantic" spots that Brodak's offers.

living room. You can chill out here and watch a movie, or play video games. Whatever floats your boat, really. Don't expect a romantic night with a love interest here, though, as people are often coming and going.

trainer's rooms. These are usually kept locked, because boy campers are known to sneak in here unsuspected from time to time. These rooms are much nicer than the campers, even equipped with a mini-kitchen. How high-class.

bathrooms. Much more action here than at the boys' dorm. Makeup and hair products litter the counters, and girls are known to spend hours on end here, whether it be bawling their eyes out in the bathrooms or getting ready for a special night.

snack stand. Every athlete needs food in-between meals. The snack stand's located at the base of the mountain, and it's specials are tofu-hot dogs and soy milk hot chocolate. Picnic tables and a fire pit give off a more camp-like scene.

indoor soccer field. Yay astroturf! That's fake grass, you know. The boy's soccer team (or football, whatever you call it) can often be found practicing and getting sweaty here, so if you're a female, you may just see someone's sexy showing.

shopping plaza. We're too remote for a real mall, so a small shopping plaza is the best you can do. It's complete with a Dollar General, Piggly Wiggly, and even a couple small boutiques, offering only the utmost quality and fashion-forward clothes.

los amigos mexican cuisine. The food's not very high-quality, but they make a mean fried-ice cream here at Los Amigos. This is another hot weekend spot for campers and trainers both. On your birthday, they even bring out a mariachi band for a quick seranade.
