I saw this about a week ago with a couple of friends and we all liked it.
Yes, this is a horror film. But there's something about it that makes it special.
You see, other scary movies will scare you using blood, haunted houses, dead people and other cheap tricks. Sorry to bust your bubble but there's nothing cheap about this movie's scare tactics. This movie is scary, scary in a way that will make you think that the producers hired a professional psychologist just to mess with the viewer's mind.
It makes me wonder why all horror films aren't made this way all the time.

If you're looking for a good scare, I definitely recommend this one!

I really want to see this movie, but haven't gotten the chance yet. The commercials for it looked great.

Although I don't mind traditional horror movies, they don't really scare me. There isn't enough realism in them. "Scream" for example. I loved the movie, don't get me wrong, but a guy putting on a Halloween costume to kill people? Give me a break. rolleyes.gif

A psychological thriller has a much better chance of actually scaring me.

DVD already? That was fast! smile.gif I'll probably rent it sometime soon. That's always easier for me than going to a theater.

I finally saw this movie last night. It takes a lot, but parts of it actually did creep me out. That alarm clock counting down stood out to me as especially eerie. I don't think I've ever seen that done before.

Pretty good movie, over all. I'm glad I finally remembered to watch it.

Think about the movie some more, that's when the scary part really hits.

Ever read Stephen King's "The Dark Half"? The book itself isn't all that scary, but the afterthought is what kills you. laugh.gif

I haven't read that, but I've seen some TV movies based on Stephen King books. I really should pick up some of his books some time, because he seems like an awesome writer.

What's "The Dark Half" about?
