ALL WE NEED IS TO BELIEVE
· · persona
personality: Like all people, Dallas is a mix of strengths and weaknesses into one body. He tries too hard to eliminate those weaknesses, tries to hard to be perfect. In addition he always tries to please everyone, even if he's trying to please two ends of an argument. Sometimes he resorts to simply remaining silent if saying something with make things worse. Lying is an action he tries to avoid as much as he can; he hates the idea of breaking another person's trust. Dallas has seen, or at least heard, how much that can ruin things. He would hate to be the cause of something bad. Talking for the sake of talking isn't something he does. In fact, he's rather shy and quiet. It takes a pretty good amount of time to pull that outgoing side out of him.

Modesty plays a key part in Dallas's personality. He tries to keep his ego less inflated than others may have. That's not to say he has low self-esteem. Instead, he simply tries to find the balance between the two. Although recieving compliments makes him blush and avert his gaze, he loves giving them. If it's his truth, then he'll gladly tell a girl how pretty her eyes look, or a boy how awesome his hair is. Sometimes people need to hear things like that to boost their mood, and he's happy to oblige. He loves making friend, and always tries to make time for them if they need to hang out, or simply talk.

Dallas is too innocent for his own good. The most dangerous and crazy thing he has done is probably being born. He has never really been one to step outside of the box, or at least too far; he likes to keep that box in view. Maybe it's because of this, or in spite of it, that he is drawn to both males and females. Although he has only had relationships with girls, he tends to lean slightly more towards the guys. In odd contrast Dallas tends to flirt mainly with girls. This has to do with the fact that he's not always sure of a male's orientation; with females the odds are more in his favor. The idea of love intrigues him, but he hasn't had too much to do with it.

The idea of love, overall, frightens him to some extent. It's not that he doesn't want to fall in love; getting married and staying married is one of his dreams. He simply doesn't want to have his heartbroken if things go awry. The idea of opening up to someone, letting them have everything of you, only to have them toss it away scares him immensely. Dallas has been trying to become more open to the idea of love, but he still can't fully accept it. Perhaps that is why his number of relationships is rather low. Just because he's shy and quiet doesn't mean that he's interested. Someone just needs to find a way to unlock the braver side of him.

BITTER SWEET MEMORIES
· · the story
parents: gabriel wolfe [father, forty-eight, professional photographer]
    mackenzie ventimiglia-wolfe [mother, forty-five, teacher]
siblings: jordain wolfe [sister, nineteen, college student]
    other family: --
    hometown: austin, texas
    current residence: boston, massachusetts
history: Gabriel Wolfe and MacKenzie Ventimiglia met when they moved to Los Angeles. She had accepted a job at the local hospital; the company he worked for relocated him to the station there. Through a series of unrelated circumstances, the two ended up meeting. Friend of an uncle's cousin and whatnot. Immediately the two clicked together and they started dating. It wasn't long before the two were married and living happily together.

They decided that they should remain in the city. Both of them worked there and, with the changing economy, they figured it would work out best. This worked out well until they decided it was time for them to have children. After sleepless nights and long conversations, they chose to still remain in the city, in their large apartment. If need be, they would move. This is the place that Dallas Ryann Wolfe soon called home. He grew up normally, giving his parents no more or less trouble than was to be expected. He cried, ate, pooped, and cried some more. Welcome to life. He started talking at a young age. Well, it was more like babbling at first, but that was to be expected. Those babbles soon were words. And thank goodness that happened. That could have been a problem.

Dallas became interested in photography at a very young age. It started with pretending to snap pictures with his water-shooting camera, and escalating from there. And then he became more interested in his father's job. After all, he had everything and anything to do with photography. Although it started as just talking to his son about it, Gabriel then began to sometimes take him to work, and even some photoshoots. It wasn't long before he started saving up enough money for his own professional camera. He began experimenting with lighting, coloring, and everything he could think of.

The birth of Jordain Wolfe was something that took Dallas for a loop. Having a sibling was something, although he was so young, was something he hadn't been expected. It was something that you watched on television. Still, he found that he loved having a little sister. He soon became very attached and protective of her, and the pair quickly bonded. The years rolled by, filled with sibling bonding and photography. Then high school rolled around. And god, what a party. Sex, drugs, and booze. It barely seemed like they were there for an academic education. His morals were tested beyond anything he had expected, and it was rough. But, he made it through.

Music, although it had been important before, really made its mark in high school. He had discovered he had a talent for singing a few years earlier; in addition, he had taken guitar lessons for a good amount of years. After leaving junior high, Dallas met the group of people that would become his future bandmates. The four of them quickly bonded over music, and together they started Dinosaurs Roar! They had been an officially band for almost two years when they were offered a contract with Candy Kisses. At first Dallas was a bit apprehensive; it wasn't exactly his comfort zone. However, with time and some encouragement from the rest of the band, he finally convinced himself that it could work. Maybe they could make it big after all.

QUOTE
It wasn't as if he actually visited the mall on a regular basis. Even before the band had hit it big time, the concept of walking around and staring at things you'd probably never buy had never appealed to him. It was just one of those things you do to pass time because time was a leisurely thing. Of course, once you're a mainstream band, time isn't exactly something you have a lot of. He had woken up this morning and simply lay there, realizing that he actually did have some time to spare. It was that thought that kept him there for about forty-five more minutes before realizing that he should actually bother getting up and doing...something. Once he figured out what that something was. He had then proceeded to roll out of bed, almost in a literal manner, shower, and dress. He had ran a quick comb through his hair and was out the door.

Dietrich stuck his hands into his pockets and walked slowly. He watched the ground as he kicked a large pebble every other step. Stupid early awakenings. In high school and before, he had a habit of waking up early. Now, however, what with all the parties and such, he'd broke the habit and formed a new one of sleeping in. Most often to sleep away the pain and annoyance of a hangover. Today he had no such problem and he assumed that that had some way of playing into his early bird wake-up. Of course he had figured all this out; it was something he really didn't need to know and had just spent time that he could have been doing something else on that. Now he just had to figure out what to do with this unexpected extra time.

It popped into his head before he even really realized that it was there. The mall. Hopefully it was early enough that there wouldn't be a huge amount of people. Even though he found himself half wishing there were large crowds swarming into the stores, he also wanted some quiet time. On tour that was a rare moment that usually lasts, at the most, a minute and a half. If you're lucky. It didn't take him as long as it thought it would to walk to the mall. Once he arrived he discovered the doors long. Running his fingers through his hair in moderate annoyance, he found a bench and sat himself down to wait. Once more he was surprised on the short amount of time and soon realized that more cars were arriving. He stood, walked to the door, and pushed it open to enter.

Dietrich crossed through the department store he had entered and made his way to the main area of the mall. It was, after all, the true reason most people came to the establishment. Who wanted to go to the department stores were they tried to ambush you with perfume? Little old ladies, that's who. And they don't exactly smell too pleasant sometimes...Already started decomposing a little early. It totally explained why the perfume and the ladies mixed so well. As a result, whenever he did happen to venture to the mall, he tended to avoid the department stores. Thankfully, since the store had just opened, he didn't have to endure the 'cruel punishment'.

As he had hoped, the main part of the mall was quite deserted. Once again he found himself wondering why he had come here, but he shoved the thought to the back of his mind. However, the back of his mind wasn't exactly what it had once been. Now it was full of thoughts and problems he didn't want to think about. Of course, the mall was a small trivial thing, but most of the things jammed back there were much bigger problems than that. Shaking his head as if it could really clear away all those thoughts, he continued to walk. He spotted a poster for the band and couldn't help but smirk ever so slightly.

Even though there were few people, that didn't mean there were none. Dietrich was surprised to even spot a few teens. And, in turn, they saw him. He couldn't help but grin as he saw them work themselves into a fit and proceed to rush over to him, begging him for an autograph. Obliging, they then thanked him multiple times before walking off, talking in hushed and excited voices and fawning over the autographs. The small excitement he recieved from this died quite soon and he found himself as bored as before.

Dietrich decided to find himself some sort of edible object. Heading over to the Aunt Annie's, he bought a strawberry and banana smoothie. Stupid little drink. From a stupid little pretzel shop he thought to himself as he paid, ignoring the look of shock and awe on the cashier's face. He took a sip as he turned away and proceeded to towards one of the nearby benches. Some of them were already occupied, so he chose a bench that was as far away as he could. Sitting down, he then swung his feet up on top to lay down. He had a habit of making himself at home wherever he went. And he quickly took another sip of the smootie, trying to get his thoughts once more away from habits. Damn.
