Set in Boston, Beats Drop Like Bombs * is a roleplay centered around eight different bands that are divided between two companies. Candy Kisses and Broken Mirrors records both will do anything to be the best company in Boston, and have set off to out do each other. Everything is a competition. It's not about the bands. It's all about the company.

Broken Mirrors
Broken mirror, doesn't sound like the most welcoming label does it? Sure the lobby isn't all fluffy, but the black and white walls contrast so nicely. Mirrors align the walls, and black and white photo albums of the bands can be found on the tables along with magazines. It's kind of comforting, in a unique way.

Broken Mirrors
It's not as big as the one at Candy Kisses, but this recording studio has everything a band could ever need. It may not have the most advanced equipment but all of the equipment works great. Plus all that matters is the label behind the cd, not the equipment.

The words to live by in the press room is 'you don't have to answer the question'. For some reason Broken Mirrors records tend to have more outrageous questions at press conferences then Candy Kisses. So the bands have learned to keep their mouth shut or risk everything.

"Oh man, you're so awkward! Sweetie, you need to get laid or something." Those deranged photographers know what they want from you in a photo and the ones who have been in the business can tell what you need for a good photo in one look. Well, what do you expect? This is the room where air brushes mean nothing, the photo shoot room.

We're the rock stars. Our press people expect us to screw up, and we make them deserve their money. Here in the private offices you can screw up with that sexy secretary from downstairs and no one will care. It is expected, 'cause we're the hardcore ones.
