what kind of oil do you use?

well im starting to do my own oil changes and i use mobil 1 synthetic for my civic. with a mobil 1 filter. i also use it for my moms accord.

if any1 needs an oil change ill do it for no charge just buy ur oil and filter and thats it. with one catch... i get to test drive your suby

whats the recco for subie oil changes??? as far as oil goes.

the subie company line is use reg oil up till 13K miles and then to switch to either a blend or full synthetic

can you stay with the conventional oil??

yeah...you can. It is more essential to go to a blend or full synthetic if you start adding engine mods.

It really depends a lot on NA/turbo, driving habits, and driving conditions. I only use very high quality (Redline) full-synth in the STi because 1) it is turbo 2) I go WOT often 3) I run higher than stock boost levels.

Someone may also use full synth/blend to increase their OCI.

Just as a side note, I have had bad experience (noticeable shearing before 3k miles) with M1 full synth in my '04 WRX. I would imagine; however, that it would be an excellent oil in an NA Honda. I think they only call for a 20 weight anyway.

ya its great oil but its a little pricy. im not sure if im gonna buy it for my next oil change. ill just go with penzoil 5 pack for 14.99 at autozone =D. yea 20 is the oil weight for my honda.
