Once upon a time...there was a large kingdom known as Crystal Tokyo. It was a new kingdom of only a couple of years, but it was a good and prosperous kingdom. It was ruled by the kind and just Neo-Queen Serenity and her husband King Endymion. For the first three years, it was a happy, peaceful and prosperous kingdom, but not everything good seems to last that long.

It was near the end of the third year that things began to go downhill. People began disappearing and when they were found again, they were either dead or had had most of their memories wiped to the point where they were a blank canvas. So, along with Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter, Serenity goes to see if she can find out just what is harming her people in such a way.

After a small journey, the five of them came across what appeared to be a small village. This village had never been around in the years before or even during Crystal Tokyo. When they tried to enter, they were repelled by a strange force that not even Serenity could bypass. After trying to get past it with their strongest attacks, the five of them returned home to inform the others just what had gone on, and to share their fears with them.

When they reached home again, they were startled by the appearance of the outer senshi. The other four senshi had previously returned to their respective home planets to protect the outer edges of the galaxy and they had promised that they would return when they were needed the most to help protect Crystal Tokyo.

The outers explained that Michiru had been checking on Crystal Tokyo when she had seen some things that had worried her. In that small, seemingly innocent village, evil was amassing. Evil that revolved around Chaos who was starting to emerge once again and was bringing back some old 'friends' with them that they wouldn't want to see again.

Worried about what could happen to their people, the senshi went to Endymion who took a small army with him to the small village to see what was going on with them and to see if there was anyway that he could defeat them without bringing too many people into a war that Crystal Tokyo wanted to avoid.

Endymion and the army were away for what seemed like weeks. Without their King and the army, the citizens of Crystal Tokyo began to worry about what would become of their peaceful kingdom...Eventually though, one man returned with the news that the army had been demolished, and that Endymion had been killed in the ensuing fight.

Upon hearing this news, the Senshi vowed to keep it from the people so that they wouldn't panic or anything like that. The senshi were stumped as they could not figure out a way to defeat these enemies without the people of crystal Tokyo worrying about what would happen if they were to die on them...

As Serenity was about to decide that she would go to the village by herself, leaving her friends to defend Crystal Tokyo, sailor Venus came up with the idea on calling upon the aid of Kinmoku and the Sailor Starlights as well as their princess.

Despite the outer senshi's worries about the fact that they should not rely upon the aid of others when they could protect themselves, Serenity sent a message to Kinmoku in the hopes that they would receive it and aid them if they had a spare moment from looking after their own planet after everything that it had been through with Galaxia.

While they waited to see whether or not the Starlights would come and help them, the senshi worked on their plans of what they were going to do, and just which of their old foes it was that they would have to fight against once again. Little did they know that their own King Endymion had been brought back by Chaos and corrupted once again by the powers of Queen Beryl...making their chances of survival even harder then they thought it was.
