Welcome

Current Date :: April 5th - April 10th 1912
The Titanic and the history around it has fascinated the world for nearly a hundred years. What happened on that fateful night? What was life like before the Titanic? After?
Join us on the RMS Titanic as we voyage from all over the world to New York city and beyond. We all have different reasons for going and different plans for our future, but we all have one thing in common. We will all have to pick up the broken pieces of our lives when the ship sinks.
Are you ready? We're about to set sail, and I have a sinking feeling.
We are a NON-CANON site. All characters are original characters. As such, feel free to request characters important to your plots in the requests forum!
NEWS
07/04/10 :: As you may have noticed, activity dropped these last few months. Likely because of finals and whatnot, but now it’s summer so we’d love to have you all back and active. New members are always welcome! All the old threads, the applications of “inactive” characters, and the like have been moved to the archives. But if you come back and your stuff is gone, don’t worry! PM an admin and we’ll get your account moved back to it’s member group, your things back to their appropriate places.

Unfortunately, I can see no way to revive this site. After several attempts, nothing seems to be working. It will be turned offline in the next few weeks, so if you're checking back, feel free to grab your stuff.
That said. If you still feel like RPing Titanic, there is a new site up, like ASF but new, fresh, and pretty. You can find it here: Stars Over the Atlantic
Thanks everyone!

Southampton, England The Titanic's first port is in Southampton. The ship departs on April 10th, 1912, at around noon. Because of the near collision with a small tender, it doesn't fully get away from the docks until around 1pm.

Cherbourg, France The Titanic's second stop. It was supposed to arrive around 5pm on April 10th, 1912, but because of the delay in Southampton it did not arrive until just after 6pm - making many passengers cross.

Queenstown, Ireland The Titanic's third and final stop. Because the dock was not large enough for the Titanic, the ship had to stop a good way away from the shore and passengers were ferried out. The ship arrived late morning on April 11th, 1912.

The Cabins Whether you’ve purchased the best there is to offer or the bare minimum, you will not fail to be impressed by the elegance and luxury that make the Titanic what it is. Comfortable and classy, you’ll sleep well.

The Dining Hall There is plenty of room for eating and socializing and on Sundays, the ship’s dining hall gets transformed into a chapel for the Sunday church service.

The Promenade Deck Clean, open and free of clutter, the first class promenade is the ideal place to take a little stroll and unwind or think. There are deck chairs for a small fee, and the deck staff are always happy to assist.

The Grand Staircase One of the Titanic’s greatest marvels, the Grand Staircase is a sight to behold. It bridges several decks and allows first class passengers to travel between the decks in splendour.

The Reading and Writing Room Used as a sort of haven for the women on board the Titanic, men are rarely in sight and if so, rarely by their own desire. One can read some of Titanic’s select library, or pen letters to friends and family.

The Verandah Cafe There is nothing quite so luxurious and calming as potted plants and towering trellises. If one is looking for some refreshments, the waiters here at the cafe would be happy to help you.

The Smoking Room The smoking room is for men only and is home to frank
discussion about business, stocks, politics and perhaps, sometimes, less ‘noble’ conversation. Don’t forget the brandy!

The Cabins Second class cabins are nothing compared to first, but they’re definitely a step up from third. They’re tasteful and light, clean and comfortable.

The Dining Hall The second class dining hall isn’t quite as grand as the first class hall but the food is excellently prepared and the tables beautifully set. It’s tasteful and not so flamboyant as first class.

The Deck Not quite as open and clear as the first class deck, it is still rather uncluttered and a great place for socializing and spending some time to one’s self as well.

The Reading and Writing Room Typically the place where women can pass some time writing letters, reading one of the limited number of books White Star has on board, or just quietly socializing.

The Smoking Room This is a favourite social spot of the men who feel the need to escape the company of the women and children for a little while – almost always after diner, though the smoking room is open all day.

The Cabins Third class cabins are not nearly so opulent as first or second class, but they do the job nice enough. Typically third class passengers would share their cabins with others they may or may not know.

The Dining Hall Certainly simple, but nice nonetheless, the third class dining hall is quite big and separated into two sections by a portioning wall that runs down the middle.

The Deck There is plenty of space on the third class decks, though there is also a lot of space taken up by ropes and other things that would be unseemly to have on a first class deck.

The Open Area The hub of virtually all third class activities, the open area is well lit, there is plenty of space, and there are benches and tables and wide open windows.

Crew Cabins The crew cabins are on average quite small and cramped. Still, they're above and beyond what you might expect on most other ships!
