 Are The Simpsons Due For A Manga???

Recently an independent artist by the name of spaceocyote released images of "Anime Manga" versions of the Simpsons as well as Futurama characters. According to the artists website, Bongo Comics is asking the artist to make artwork for a short anime version of the Simpsons comics. All you comic book fans keep your eyes peeled for this one.

Brian posted the two images at AnimeCapsule, but yeah, they look cool but I do hope they don't follow up on making them into anything. >_>

The Simpsons format is best fit for a TV show. The subtle comdey and the tones of voice just can't really be done in a manga.
