So...

I started to do my update...And I collected a good bit of DP for my Trait Building.

I beleive it was on my 2nd update, I dumped a poop load into my Determination Trait.

So I was preparing myself for the new Patch. I love the new stuff you guys thought of....

However, I can't find anywhere on any Additions to the Trait: Determination. Was this left out of the patch...or...?

Basically my question...Does Determination have any set advantages with the new update, or am I missing something on the Front Page? ^^

I think determination is basically for RP purposes, but I doubt many people follow that stat when RPing.

So... the only use I can find for it is for the Hypnosis technique.

Determination, as the site says, is supposed to increase stats as you get hurt and battle, but that piece hasn't been added quite yet. It may be that Alex simply forgot to add it and will be adding it soon.

I use Determination for ALL my RP IC stuff. Yamcha is just starting out to learn all these techniques and learning to Manipulate his Ki effectively.

So...it may not be important for some, but its the Bulk of his personality when it comes down to RPing, especially fighting stronger foes.

This is the reason I wish to know the extensive uses of Determination. I have 166 already, and I wish to push it further if there is a good advantage for Stat Battles.

Everytime you take damage your stats get increased by 1% per determination you have so every time Yamcha gets hit his stats go up by 166%.

So everytime I would take a hit, +200% increase to stats?

I imagine that would apply only to a big hit, like taking an Advanced or surviving a Finisher.

Adding +1% Vitality would be healing you...which totaly negates the whole point of taking damage

I had no idea what Jeice was saying until I re-read what he meant. Raz said X% to all stats...

Thats a bit uber if you ask me...If my math is right.

If I had 400 Str starting out, then added 166% ontop for the hit...Thats almost 200+ stat increase? @_@

I'm confused when it comes to numbers.

Look I've thought this through. Hear me out I think you're going to love it.

Determination Chart:

100: +5% all stats gained in spars

200: +5% all stats gained in quests

300: +5% all stats gained in battles

400: +5% all stats gained in training

500: +5% all stats boost in battle

600: +10% all stats gained in spars

700: +10% all stats gained in quests

800: +10% all stats gained in battles

900: +10% all stats gained in training

1000: +10% all stats boost in battle

This do not stack which means at the end of the day 10% is the highest. Tell me what you think.

Why not just make it simple, something like this:

For every % of damage you take, that % of your determination gets added to all stats.

Meaning if you have 1,000 in all stats (8,000 Power Level) and a Determination of 50, and you take 10% damage, you'll get +5 to all.

8,040 Power Level.
1,005 all stats.

Near the end of the battle it could increase Power Level up to 8,400.

If you boosted it more and had, say, 120 Determination, you could go up to 8,960. Granted it would have to be a little bit lower, since to add 100% you would have to be K.O.'d

Maybe make it double the actual determination amount even? Since it doesn't seem like much now.
