Snow falls from the gray sky, the individual flakes growing larger and falling faster with each passing second. It becomes so thick you can barely see a few feet in front of you. A large cabin lies on the edge of the forest, its wooden door open and swinging in the wind on its hinges. It cannot close all the way, as the body of a mutilated mercenary lies in the door space, a long gash moving across his throat so that his head is barely hanging on. The pool of blood underneath him dripped off the doorstep and into the frozen ground, staining it to a dark purple.
Moving inside, a fire is still raging warming nothing but the cool dead bodies strewn about the floor. Snow has drifted in from the wind and left a puddle of water in the center of the room. Upon closer examination, a hand torn clean from one of the mercenaries sat in the middle of the water. Four of its fingers were curled up, leaving the index finger pointing toward the back of the room.
Cots can be seen through the opening which led to the dormitories of this chapter of the Headhunter's Guild, more bodies on the floor with even more hanging off of their beds seemingly killed in their sleep. Crawling out of the personal quarters and into the front room comes an alien with light blue skin. His long yellow hair is matted to his back, clumped together from the blood leaking down from the back of his head.
His eyes are wide with panic, glazed over from shock when he says, “He has come. He is here. He...”
The alien pauses as he tries to catch his breath, only to cause himself to go into a fit of coughing. When he gains control of himself, he looks up into your eyes once more, his voice raising in pitch and gaining a hysteric tone. “He--Is--In--My--HEAD!”
He lifts up a hand, before it falls down to the ground and he begins to scream incoherent sentences. Something is pulsing within his head, causing his skull to mold into unrealistic proportions, until it bursts open. Brains leak out of the now dead alien's head and that now leaves no survivors left in the room.
Moving into the back room, a giant hole has been blasted through the cabin wall, leaving only the view of the frozen forest that stretches on beyond it.

The demon looked as if he was going to have a seizure as his convulsions did not seem to end, his teeth chattered and his whole body was racked with some sort of panic that had never set in before. "Was this Pico this destructive of a force, how could he compete with the likes of him," He thought. Clenching his jaws to stop the endless chatter, Tsubasa for the moment seemed at ease and placed a hand on the ground looking at the crinkles on the back of his hand. He traced the soft sinewy lines and ran over them as if he was reading a book. It was calming for sure and it was working. His eyes removed from his hand and he moved closer to the brainless body in front of him. There had to be some sort of clue on him that Pico had left. Where else could it be, there was nothing else in the back room except for a large gaping hole.
His face held a constant grimace as he checked the pockets of the mercenary looking through every possible opening in his armor for anything. As he ran his fingers through the alien he tried to think of anything else in the room that he could consider. Obviously the large hole had to mean something but he would check that next. He looked at each cot while still moving through the belongings of the creature without any clue at all. They were all folded neatly and were all nearly the same which left nothing ventured and nothing gained.
"Hmm Pico, what did you want to leave here, a message. Did you just want to kill everybody and leave nothing? Why...do you truly want to just destroy everything and leave it all in chaos? I think not." He tried to reason with himself but he didn't know Pico and he certainly didn't want to, he just wanted him dead.

Tsubasa
The fire spread, and soon the entire cabin was ablaze. The lost moans of the zombies were lost in the noise of the wood crackling and then again when the entire structure collapsed in on itself. Ash and assorted bits of debris floated into the cold air, but the fire did not spread. The ice, snow, and below freezing temperatures guaranteed that.
The mercenaries ceased to move, and soon everything began to calm down. Just when the last embers were about to wink out of existence, a gigantic wall of fire stemming from within the frozen forest appeared.
Its origin could not be seen, but it ended on the cabin, and everything was lost inside of it. A gigantic ball of fire blazed where the cabin once stood and then it was gone. As if just an illusion, the wall of fire left only a path of charred remains that led into the forest.

1) Tsubasa's action is successful, though all clues within cabin have been destroyed. ->Cabin Collapses below Tsubasa ->Path appears

Tsubasa
The demon trudged along, and the snow began to pick up in force. Soon after visibility was a huge concern. Nobody would be able to see anything beyond an arm's reach.
Whether it would be visible or not, two hundred yards in the distant seemingly out of the fog stepped a hooded figure in a red robe. Bangs of orange hair hung out, hiding the rest of the face of the figure who clutched the robe tightly around its body.
The features of the individual were hidden, except for the fact that the hand being used to grab onto the rope was more akin to a claw. The nails were quite long, and looked as if they would be able to slash through anything without trouble.
It called out in a voice then, neither masculine nor feminine, but as bone chilling as the snow that fell. "Look to your left, then look to your right, and now look behind you."
The snow lightened for a moment allowing Tsubasa to see what the mysterious figure wanted him to see. To left, lay a half frozen pond. To the right was the large opening of an expansive cave.
And of course behind him was the way back, a place back to safety, a place back home. After only a moment, the figure was gone, and the snow had picked up pace again.

As the tree's gave away to an opening about two maybe three hundred yards away a peculiar sight could be seen in the distance. A brilliant red hooded creature stepped forth through the fog that enveloped the area around him and its features were kept hidden underneath. Tsubasa moved forward trying to get a better view of the individual before a melodic voice filled the snowy forest.
"Look to your left, then look to your right, and now look behind you." Tsubasa looked at the being in perplexed amusement as a slight smirk creased his lips.
The young demon folded his arms in front of his chest and perched his head slightly to look to the left of him. In the immediate direction there was nothing out of the ordinary except for a large half frozen pond that took up most of the space available in the plain. Now looking to his right, a large cave brooded over the snowy path with a deep mysterious opening and immediately behind him was obviously where he had come from. It looked as if this creature was giving him options on what to do. His amused smirk slowly transfigured into a look of thought as his eyebrows creased making small lines between his eyes. As he unfolded his arms and looked backward for the sheer hell of it he saw that the fog had ended there and that the snow as well stopped falling only in that direction.
Pivoting back to where the red hooded person was, it suddenly wasn't there anymore. Obviously he couldn't go back now, he had come too far already and all of this was so strange and engrossing. Knowing that the cave was probably more dangerous, the silver haired warrior opted to go in that direction avoiding the pond completely. Mainly because it was wet and cold, two things that Tsubasa strayed from. "It's a wonder why I'm on this planet at all," He thought to himself chuckling softly as he made his way through the cavernous domain.
Action: Enter TEH Cave.

Alain watched how Tsubasa first entered the cabin on his own. Voices were heard inside before a small poof. The Avalanian slowly began to make his way toward the cabin to confront Tsubasa for ignoring him before. After his fourth step the cabin light aflame and the demon appeared above. Moans of pain were heard as the living dead within ceased living.
"Sounds like he had some fiery fun in there," Spoke Alain as he reached toward his lip and retrieved his fag. He looked down at it to examine the length as he exhaled. The Demon was now gone. Alain shrugged, his new habit distracted him. It would kill him too later on, or so he was told. The wind picked up and his coat felt it's effects as it danced with the air. The Avalanian turned his head to where he felt it from, the trees were cleared. Probably were his rival had gone too.
Alain returned his cigarette to his lips and dug his hands into his pockets before trailing after Tsubasa. The others of the crew hadn't reacted yet, it was odd. All of them being paid by Frost to investigate this little massacre, none of them doing anything. The Avalanian finally reached the first tree and placed his hand on it to lean against. Squinting his eyes, he managed to catch Tsubasa's figure.
"Let's hope he is as intelligent as he is strong," Spoke Alain to himself before reaching behind him with the hand he had used to lean on and pulling out his rifle. He held it horizontally over the ground as his weighted boots smashed into the snow. He walked alongside the flames that marked the passage. Feeling the heat, he could only laugh at it's weakness. The Hell-Flames of Cauldron's knew no rival, the petty flames of a master illusionist wouldn't char the hair of Alain's head.

The Avalanian looked down and bent his knees. His coat blanketed the melting snow and began to take in the water. He shrugged it off as he picked up a handful of the snow and examined it. The fire was prepared to ignite beforehand, the snow was colored by some fluid. Alain removed the cigarette from his mouth and stabbed it into the snow. It hissed at first before spreading the fire to the snow. He nodded to himself as he tossed the fireball in his hand into the flaming wall and his cigarette back to his lips. It was his last, he wasn't going to toss it just because it made friends with snow.
Alain looked to his left, a large pine whose branches were just starting to feel the effects of the flames. Alain rose to his feet and placed his hand on the tree to gauge it's stability. Nodding in approval, he stepped back and hopped forward. His left foot slamming into the tree with his right following soon after in a running motion. After his second step with his right foot, he twisted and turned toward the flames as his left hit the tree. He pushed off and launched himself over the flames onto the trail.
"Little good this will do," He mumbled to himself as he removed his coat, it had already made good friends with the snow and would probably be his death if it was touched by a flame. The removal of his coat revealed a sturdy armor of Saiyan design. It lacked pads and was connected by two straps at the top, and three at the sides. A one size fits all gig. Planet Frieza could have claimed to own the black market with it's crime rate, but it was only a satellite to the greater scheme of the dark monopoly.
Alain re focused to the task ahead, and the path in the same direction. Tsubasa was nowhere in sight, and retreating wasn't an option a warrior like his silver-haired counterpart would take. The Avalanian took his first step down the burning passage, his rifle returning to his hand.

Tsubasa
Water dripped down from the top of the cave, the temperatures inside still close to freezing, but warm enough where the chilly water made small puddles on the ground. A small gust of wind blew from outside, and rotting matter that was composed of leaves and pine needles skittered across the cavern floor. As Tsubasa made his way to the end of the cave, the light was so dim, one's body would only appear to be a mere shadow moving through the darkness lost. Lost in that darkness, was a metal door sitting at the end of the cave, randomly inserted into the stone.
A screech came from the ceiling then, and a warmer gust of air was forced down. Flapping noises could be heard, and a large shadow began shifting around. The shadow moved near the front of the cave then, trapping Tsubasa inside. It was revealed to be another monster, a gigantic bat, its fangs dripping with a red liquid that could only be blood.
It screeched again, only to have its eyes glow purple before firing an eye beam at the demon.

Go ahead and have fun with the thing, Tsu. Feel free to use your imagination with it.

The hooded figure that had approached Tsubasa before reappeared, once again hiding its identity. Its location was up in a tree, looking down on the path that the Avalanian was treading on. It did not speak, but resorted to easing its presence into Alain's mind. The pond would come into view, as well as the cave.
The figure actually released a soft, audible chuckle before disappearing again in a puff of red smoke. It began to waft down towards Alain's location, and that was when sounds of the battle from the cave began to fill the entire forest.
A voice spoke in Alain's mind. Will you follow your friend or go in the opposite direction and find glory for yourself?

1) Action successful ; Paths open up.
(Don't be alarmed, Thirteen has been suspended but he gave me the heads up as to what's going in this crime scene.)
