don't worry - you're not going to have to read fifty pages of the same rules you've read everywhere else. not here. all forums have generally the exact same rules, so there's no reason to keep repeating them over and over and over again. just use your common sense, that's all. if you lack common sense, then the staff here at WHC will inform you of what's up with our own common sense. there are only a few rules i think are important enough to list and explain here, so listen up.001. LITERACY - while roleplaying doesn't take place on this forum (except for the one roleplaying forum), literacy is still nice. i don't want to see chatspeak or anything like that. even if we don't roleplay, i stil dunt want to sea dis. its stil worng. respect the English language. we're not a grammar nazis though, so we're not going to slit your throat and spill your blood if you make typos. just try to make an effort, okay? 002. DISCRIMINATION - racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism (directed to either one of the sexes), and all that other stuff is strictly not allowed on this site. obviously, if your character is a racist or a sexist or whatever, than that's fine as it doesn't count. all members of WHC better behave though. even if you don't like gays or blacks or transexuals or anything like that, STFU about it, mkay? 003. BASHING - nobody on this site had better bash other people! WHC exists to join a community together so that we may help one another - NOT to try to bring others down by insulting their characters or their writing or whatever. however, there is a difference between bashing and critiquing, so learn it. this rule also means NO ELITISM! you're NOT better than anybody else on this site, so don't act like it! easy, no? 004. STEALING - WHC is going to have graphics, plot pages, character bios, et cetera, so try not to fall into temptation and steal things. we have a strict 'no tolerance' policy against plagiarism and stealing. just DON'T do it as this will get your throat slit and your blood spilled, along with a notification to as many people as we can tell that you do this and whatever other action we feel is necessary, along with a banning and deletion from WHC. kthnx. 005. REGISTERING - when you register, please use all capitals. don't add in a thousand numbers and shit like that. daisy494922 just don't look good. also, don't use exclamation marks at the end of usernames as they denote staff accounts. thank you! 006. ADVERTISING - you may only advertise in the advertising board, except in the the cbox. however, you must link the ad into your name. you're strictly not allowed to post the link in the actual cbox, hence the 'no blatantly advertising' rule. and that, my friends, is about it. if you have any questions, feel free to contact a staff member or post in the feedback forum and we'll answer them straight away.
