(IT'S MY FIRST CHARRIE! I lost the old form because the forum is dead and I can't get it. So I had to remake it. It's less noob-ish but the charrie is fun to make fun of. xD)    c a l . a t r e s .runs a muck in : In The Shadows and Cells

suffrage record : He was one of my first RPing characters. I first played him on ITS which was a sub-categorized RP on a community forum. The group of us apart of it loved it so much that we made a sequel called Cells. We made a new forum for it and the people who loved reading it but it eventually died so we never finished it. As of the moment, me and a friend who was a part of it are currently working on a story with both of our characters before they jumped into the RP story.
upbringing :
In The Shadows
Cal was raised by his mother and father in a poverty stricken ghetto of New York City. From his memories, his father was always abusive and drunk while his mother was a loving and caring soul who did what should could to keep Cal alive. Nearby lived his aunt and uncle who would try to take Cal in to protect him from his father's deathly abuse. One night, his uncle tried to put a stop to it and visited his brother's household when it was just him and his son there. The conversation quickly went from conversation to argument and when the father grabbed a knife, it became a fight. Terrified, Cal (who was five at the time), tried to step in but he picked a second too late to do so. Laying still as stone in a puddle of his own blood, it was clear he was dead. Distraught, the uncle began to threaten his brother. Within five minutes, he glanced at Cal only to find the boy staring at them with a lifeless expression. Later in the story, it is revealed that Cal's body was given to Father Time who made a deal with the devil that Father Time would allow the devil to use the body as a vessel on a condition that Father Time could take the body back on his call. The devil sent his servant the god of hell fire (later known as Killagan) to take over the body thus allowed Cal to continue living and have the ability to control fire.
From then on, his uncle refused to speak to him, in belief that the child was a monster. Cal continued to live with his mother and father only now, his father would rarely be home. Like any other kid, he went to school but unfortunately the one who was picked on. From lack of emotions, he could careless. His mother tried desperately to get her son back to his normal self but he was irreversible. That is, until he met Gwen Zephir. She was an innocent rich girl who was neglected by her parents and he was a waiter serving her an iced tea with only one ice cube. She came often and eventually their relationship grew to friends and then a couple. It turned out that she was capable of controlling the element of water. Soon after, they met a woman name Skye who could control light. Being more experienced, she helped them learn to use and control their own powers. Unfortunately, this all came to an end one night when he saw his father in the back of a police car and his mother under a blanket, surrounded by saddened EPS workers. He was forced to move in with his aunt and uncle. Still remembering the past, his uncle began to shun Cal and giving him trouble. When word spread, Gwen's parents refused to allow her to be seen around Cal anymore. Eventually, Cal snapped and unleashed his powers on civilians in an unconscious faze. Killagan, taking advantage of Cal in weakness, he wiped him of his memories and took the body for his complete control.
In a zombie like faze, he wandered the streets. From this he met Artemis, a man who controlled shadows. Artemis took him in and soon became like and older brother to Cal. At this time, he revealed his grand plan to find the Seven Orbs of Darkness and use them to change the world for the better of their kind. Cal agreed to help him in return for his hospitality, for the idea was merely an indifference to him. The two of them began to search for other's who would help to fulfill there mission. At the same time, Skye with the help of Gwen began to search for people of their kind to help them improve their skills but when they ran into a boy named Forest, they were informed of Artemis' plan. Thus, two groups were made who held different views and powers equally unnatural. Cal was then put to test between his new friendship, his powers, and his past.
Cells
After his death in ITS, he devoted his life to serving Father Time. When Artemis begins to be incapable of controlling the soul that lies within him that he was reincarnated from, Father Time sends Cal back to life to help prevent the further destruction. Only this time, he held a new body and no powers. During his time in his second chance at life, Gwen has a hard time with Cal's return and causes Cal to get distracted from his mission with distraught. It doesn't help when he is informed that she is with his child and later, they found out it is twins of a boy and girl. |
