Really, she could have sworn she had seen someone from the corner of her eye following her, however she was a bit distracted by the person that was now impeding her walk. Taking out one of the head phones, Sadie studied just exactly who she had bumped into. From the way she hit the person it felt more like a brick wall than the blonde little thing standing in front of her. She had at least a good three inches height on the girl. Striking it up to being exhaustingly tired, she gave a shake of her head with a simple roll of her eyes. Sweetheart? Maybe she should inform her that wasn’t the team she played for.
“Sorry for walking on the perfectly clear side walk,” she sarcastically quipped, motioning that the space to her left was vacant of everything but air.
The Smiths blared from the head phone she held in her hand as she pulled herself up to her full height. Sadie wasn’t going to be intimidated by some California princess in a leather jacket. Though, she had to admit, she did like the girls boots. Call it a weakness of hers. Arms crossed over her chest, she gave the girl a raised eyebrow that clearly said,
“…and?”“Now are you going to stand and block the sidewalk all night?”
Cocking a hip to the side, she wasn’t too worried about what this little waif was going to do to her. A six foot biker, her reaction would be a little different. But she was positive Blondie didn’t want to break a nail. Toying with the
necklace she constantly wore, Sadie was all out of patience for the week. A certain guy had used up her stock.
((If you want to know about the St. Benedict’s necklace Sadie wears let me know and I’ll shoot you a PM. Pretty much it protects her from spells/magic and possession))
