(Location: Guthrie, OK)

Weird didn’t even begin to describe the last couple months. He couldn’t tell you when it really began but he first noticed it when he was at the corner little diner. Seventy-five cents to his name and all he was going to get was a cup of coffee. Someone had to go an order a piece of pie. The heat rose from its gooey filling that slightly melted the a la mode on the side. God it looked fantastic it.

He was joking when he said it to David.

“You wanna give me your pie, dude?”

Without hesitation, David just handed it over. A little stunned but not to look a gift horse in the mouth, Andy took the pie and finished the plate in less time than it took to ask for it. That was just the start though. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t, but more things were starting to be given to him.

Figuring it had to be some freak weather thing, he was going to capitalize on this. Moving out of his Mom’s basement, Andy took up residence in his van. Now some may not see this as a step up but did it really matter? The more he used whatever this was, the easier it got and the more things he could have. Did he really need anything more than that?

“Hey Jerry. That cup of coffee looks great.”
“Sure does Andy.”
“Mind if I have it?”
“Of course not!”

Yeah, life was particularly sweet right now.

Oklahoma? Do not get this girl started on this evil state! It was cursed. It sucked sooo bad! First off lets describe everything wrong with it on a common level. First off, the abbrivation for Oklahoma is OK... ok. Did you get that because that's extactly how exciting it is! It is okay. Thats it. Second, Instances of major diseases are near the national average in Oklahoma, and the state ranks at or slightly above the rest of the country in percentage of people with asthma, diabetes, cancer, and hypertension. Just to throw in how much it sucks! Lastly,. the musical Oklahoma sucks. It's terrible and she couldn't believe her very own Hugh Jackman participated in such a horrible play..

On a more personal level Oklahoma was her first job when she came over to the United States after leaving her beautiful homeland country of Australia. The most rememberable bit was getting stabbed in the leg by some physcopath. It was a long story, one that was too be put on hold. Luckily she was just passing through on her way to a job. Actually, she was hoping to find something here for kicks but Oklahoma was the 'Sooner State' which ment the sooner out the better.

For now she stopped in Guthrie for the night. Teresa had been pretty much traveling non stop since Pheonix, and her editor would not appreaciate her running herself dry before she hit Houston for some big parade she was covering. Pulling up to a nice looking diner she wondered out of her dull blue, 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Convertible. Locking the door she felt quite safe that her car wasn't going to be broken into with her special alarm system.. she didn't want her baby to be hurt.

Teresa wandered into the diner, a feastive little bell dinging as she entered and once it stopped all she could hear was the sound of the customers chirping happily and her black leather boots squeaking on the floor. Reaching into her jean pocket, she shimmyed out her wallet and started to slow down as something sparked her intest. Some guy just asked for his pie and he just let him have it? Shaking her head, she just brushed it off.. not saying anything but it was strange.

"Hello, Miss, how may I help you"

"Hi. Just a coffee and maybe just a.. pie" Teresa answered in her thick Australian accent as her eyes lingered over to the man happily munching on his friends pie. It did look pretty good. Paying the man his money she glanced back over to the man as he persauded his friend to give him his coffee cup. Okay.. that was it, now Teresa was definitely intruged. It was time to make some small talk and find out this guys deal. Maybe it was nothing.. but as a Hunter you could never be sure.

"The coffee any good?" She asked in a friendly manner as she sat down next to the man, who they greeted as Andy. They guy didn't seem anything extraordinary but that's probably why he seemed so interesting..

"Tracy here makes the best cup of coffee in the whole town," Andy admitted taking a sip of the coffee noticing how his long time friend (and perhaps long time crush) blushed a bit at his compliment. It was better than that new kid who was wiping down tables. Always gave Andy a bit of the creeps for no real reason. He seemed just way too eager. Like, stalker level eager.

He did sigh though. Of course the collection agency would send a pretty thing to try and get from him. Sure he was a bit past due on a few bills here or there but once he found out that telling them to "go away" actually worked, well he wouldn't be paying those bastards any time soon.

"Haven't seen you around here before," he stated as another young gentleman left tickets to Aerosmith on his table.

"Thanks Joe. Don't worry about backstage. It won't be a problem."

Well this little thing had been working for him so far. Why would it stop now? Besides, he had a date that night and an entourage to impress. Oklahoma City would never knew what hit it.
