2 0 1 1 - Recorded as the year that they arrived. Angels. No, not those human-worshipers found in the bible - but creatures of a whole other sort. They proclaimed their appearance to human kind on the night that they came; they did not bother to hide their existence. At first, of course, the mass of living humans went into a frenzy over these "strange beings". The existence of otherworldly species, after all, had always been considered - but never thought to have been an actual... fact.

[dohtml]<center><div style="width: 300px; text-align:justify">2 0 2 5 - Over the years, the human species' hostility vanished into a sort of respect and even, worship. The angels became a sort of glorified image of what humans should be; after all, there was not much to hate about them, what with their immortality, unnatural beauty, mystical abilities, and wings (which could be hidden or brought out at the angel's insistence). Slowly but surely, the angels grew powerful in every-day society. Many became government officials, infiltrating the inner workings of social heirachy. And by two-thousand-and-twenty-five, there was no question as to how whole their power was... over the whole world. A royal family was concocted out of the most clever and pure-blooded of the angels, obliterating other human governments and royal families. Their headquarters became based in London, England, where once the great British royal family resided - Buckingham Palace.

[dohtml]<center><div style="width: 300px; text-align:justify">2 0 7 4 - The Angelic royal family has ruled with an iron fist ever since their coronation day, back in 2025. Many advances have been made under their rule - such things as teleportation, robotic familiars (servants), animal mutation... and, well, the list goes on. They have forever planned to rule eternally, as they are partially immortal and supreme in power. Or, at least, they thought this to be the arrangement of things... until the arrival of the demons. Long-ago companions of angels while they still resided in the Otherworld, demons are naturally solitary beings that have, in recent years, become strangely united (though demons themselves branch out into many other species - vampires, incubi, succubi, phantoms, drudes, etc.)

[dohtml]<center><div style="width: 300px; text-align:justify">2 0 7 4 - A war is brewing on the horizon. The angels, seeking to keep themselves as the rulers in the mortal world, have come to try and use diplomatic ways to deal with the demons. The Demonic royal family is now being hosted by the Angelic royals in their headquarters in London (Buckingham Palace), as the angels hope to come to a negotiation that will please both races. However, soon enough they might have to worry about things larger than political tensions... Though most humans have become docile in recent years, yielding to the power and authority of the angels, there are several that have not. Thinking themselves revolutionaries, these humans are a group that have trained themselves intensely in things such as physical combat and acrobatics. Their power lies in ancient artifacts with magical properties - granting the human beholder powers worthy of the angel and demon species. With years spent in the shadows, waiting, their attack upon the Angelic heirachy and Demonic masses is sure to be soon...
