the dungeons the dungeons are exceptionally cold and sometimes eerie, playing the host to numerous pranks by resident ghouls. regardless, two very important common rooms lie in two very different dungeons. it's terribly easy to get lost within the dungeons, and the walls tend to ooze slime after midnight.

the ground floor the ground floor isn't all that exciting, although it does lead to the lovely lawns. there's always the great hall to grab a bite to eat or chat with friends and the numerous empty classrooms where students can steal a quick snog.

the first floor follow the stairs up from the entrance hall and you will find yourself on the landing of the first floor, which, like most others, plays host to several major classrooms and professors' offices. not a particularly interesting place to roam around in your spare time, but the first floor all the same. fun times!

the second floor the second floor, reached by climbing the flight of stairs up from the first, is somewhat uneventful - aside from the amazing inter-house common room. by far, this new attraction is the showcase of the second floor. party hard!

the fourth floor the fourth floor is largely composed of the enormous student and staff library - any book you could possibly want to read, on any subject you're interested in, can be found in the library. there are also a few empty classrooms on this floor to use for whatever you damn well please.

the sixth floor the sixth floor is entirely uneventful as well, but you might just find a few wandering gryffindors here and there as it's so close to their common room. oh, and be careful: professor mcgonagall likes to randomly prowl around the corridor as a cat. scary little bligther, isn't she? we think so.

beauxbatons relocation grounds the area outside of hogwarts castle has been converted into the temporary residential area for the beauxbatons students. despite being outside, the area is well-manicured; it's hard to believe that they are even outside at all. there is a strict curfew enforced upon all beauxbatons students, and the area is patrolled by aurors at all times of the day.

the grassy lawns the grounds of hogwarts are rather spacious, with tons of gardens to admire and fluffy trees to sit under in the nice weather. the sloping, grassy lawns are one of the best places to relax if you want to get away from the noise of the school.

the forbidden forest students aren't allowed into the forest, for a very good reason - all sorts of dangerous creatures live in it, and for the most part, wandering in by yourself is a serious compromise of your own safety. but when has anyone ever listened to the rules? enter only if you think you have the guts to handle it...

durmstrang institute the institute is an old castle, having only four floors, and demands a sort of reverence - the towers and ancient stone give it a formidable facade, and even seventh year students often find it hard not to be impressed. the castle is cushioned between snow-covered mountains and coexists with numerous lakes and rivers, just outside of the breathtaking city of st. petersburg, russia.

capella road a long, winding road leads to this gothic mansion. located in normandy, the estate is just a hop and a skip away from the english channel and britain itself - and for good reason, because what seems like an old, abandoned house in the middle of nowhere is actually the recently-adopted headquarters for the order of the phoenix.

verlot the small, seedy magical city of verlot, france, is located perhaps twenty or thirty miles north of marseilles, and is best known for its red-light district. simply swimming with the shadiest sort of wizard (and often times risky students up from beauxbatons on the weekends) it plays host to anything the perverse mind desires. despite it's french location, many of the establishments are run by englishmen.
