Side note: Potter should be in Gryffindor.
Torin Potter and Kendra Goldstein had been best friends ever since their first year at Hogwarts. They had meet at the sorting and placed in the same house. True no one saw it coming, but with in a few weeks the boy and girl duo were joined at the hip. No matter what they did, they were together, quidditch practice, they were both on the team by second year, studying for classes, and they just did everything together.
Time past and soon the two were all grown and now facing their seventh and last year at school. A long journey and not all of it was smooth, Torin and Kendra had seen each other over many rough patches over the years. Ex boyfriends, ex girlfriends, all most failed classes, lost quidditch matches. But nothing could prepare them for their last year together. Nothing.
At the end of their sixth year Kendra has a potential boyfriend; at least she had thought so. Her and Shawn Jordan had been owling each other all summer, and everything looked up. Once they had settled in Kendra and Shawn had met and decided to make it official, they would start dating. This was perfect for Kendra as she thought she would have a date to all the parties for the up coming year. But not everything was as it seemed.
Shawn all the while datingKendra had his eye on Jennabeth Weasley. Shawn thought that if he could get Jenna to go out with him all the while dating Kendra he could two time them. It was the perfect plan. But Torin also had his eye on Jenna, he had liked her ever since last year. He was just trying to get up enough courage to ask her out.
Now the two girls knew nothing about each other and that’s why Shawn thought his plan was so perfect. Gossip can spread like wildfire, somehow Shawn's plan to date both Kendra and Jenna, got back to [???] Goldstein one afternoon. Shocked Kendra confronted Shawn with the rumor hoping it wasn’t true. Shawn denied it but, it seemed it wasn’t going to work. Kendra promptly slaps him and dumps him in front of everyone.
Heartbroken Kendra goes running to her best friend needing some comfort. Meanwhile Jenna and Shawn get to talking, and eventually he asks her out. [00bfff]Jenna[/color] somehow didn’t hear about Shawn's plan to two time her with Kendra, because if she did she wouldn’t be going out with Shawn. So seeing the now happy couple of Shawn and Jenna crushes Torin's heart.
Poor Torin, for the people who knew about his crush feel for him. But his best friend refuses to stop trying to cheer him up. Kendra wants to see Torin happy, because while she was soul searching after her break up with Shawn, she realizes one thing. Torin and she have always been there for each other and she likes him, truly likes him. But with Torin still so crushed he can’t see that Kendra's attempts to cheer him up are because she likes him.
Eventually Kendra gets fed up with Torin, he keeps pushing her away not wanting to be pulled out of his funk. So [Kendra does the only thing she can think of she tells him she likes him. It wasn’t easy for Kendra telling her best friend that, she knows she could lose him. Does Torin have the same feelings for his best friend if so will he be able to tell her? Will Jenna find out about Shawn's plan that he had from the beginning, all though now he regrets it? The seventh year at Hogwarts, isn’t so easy.
