They are not here because the Admin’s of the site are control freaks. All sites need to have a sense of order to them. General Site Rules 1. This site is PG-16. The general population of us are young adults here, and I know we are more mature to do such things when role-playing. But I have decided not to make this site Rated R. Sorry to all those who find this important, but if you want you may take your role-playing else where. So there is just a heavy petting law that has been instated. No role-play sex of any kind. 2. Spamming. It’s not cool, don’t do it. No Spamming unless it is in the OOC section. There is a special forum just for this purpose, please do it there. This also means [for those of you who don’t know] no double posting! The Edit button is your friend, if you feel the need to add something else to your post please use the Edit button. 3. Advertising your site; your sister’s site or your friend’s site Please do not put links to sites in your signature. That is a big No-no. We don’t like it and a warning will be given. This also means no advertising in the chat box. Yes you may put your link in your name so people can click on it, just don’t go around shouting: “Please come here it’s a great site!” and then post the address. For advertising purposes go to the Promotion section to advertise your sites. You may freely place it in there, but if it becomes to be a problem with and just advertising is going on, I'll be forced to take the promotion forum out. 4. Applications Please fill out your character’s application fully. I can not stress this enough. Also try to refrain from putting pictures in your characters physical description area, or just saying: “She looks like Rachel Bilson” That won’t work, pretend we have never seen Rachel Bilson before, we need a full description please.[The same with your characters History] 4a. Also remember to fill out the contact information in the application. If you are that uncomfortable with giving it out please PM Cameron Carmichael with it. 4b. If you do not apply with in: 72 hours [that’s 3 days] You account will be deleted. Other people are looking to play Canons and it isn’t fair to let their chance be passed by if you haven’t applied yet. If you do apply and can not make the dead line please PM Cameron Carmichael. And give a good reason why it isn’t possible. 4c. It also possible for two people to sign up for the same character. Say two people want to sign up for Bill Weasley & Fleur Delacour’s oldest daughter. Of course they will have different names, it will just depend on who gets their application filled out first. Most likely who ever gets their application done first will be accepted. That is if the other person hasn’t reserved that character through pm because they won’t be able to do it in time. 4d. Replying to your application. Please don't do it, it looks so sloppy. That's what the edit button is for. So Please use it. 4e. Please do not PM the Admins asking when your application will be done. We do have lives outside the computer and will get to it as soon as possible. 5. Activeness Please try to remain as active as possible. Imagine if your topic can't continue because the other person simply disappeared. No good right? So stay active. Also if you are going to be gone longer then a week please post it in the Absences section so we won’t delete you by mistake! 6. Cursing/Swearing Ok we all know what this is. Mild cursing is allowed on the site. Yes I know I stated the site is Rated-R, but I would like a PG-13ish rating on the cursing factor. Just because you are able to use every cruse word out there doesn’t mean you can. Please don’t go around using it just for fun. 7. Registering Your Character When registering your username, please provide a first and last name. Spaces are allowed. Please do not use any numbers [34587]; underscores [____] or dashes [------]. Good Example: Cameron Carmichael. Bad Example: Drk__Chld45 8. Respecting Each Other [this includes the Admin and Moderators] If you have been disrespected before you know what it feels like. It’s not a very good feeling and none of us want that to happen on this site. So Please show everyone respect, even if you know the person IRL. Always treat others the way you would want to be treated. No fighting, or flaming each other. You will be warned and actions will be taken! 9. Suicide/Death Ok I understand if your characters think about both. They make good story lines, this I know from experience. But actually killing someone else’s character or your own character isn’t allowed. If you’d like to leave the site, which we hope this doesn’t happen please pm Cameron Carmichael. You account will be deleted immediately. If it is for part of your plot line, you will have to discuss it with the Admins before it is allowed. 10. Shipping’s On this site Slash shipping’s are allowed. Again all of our role-players have the right to chose what they read, and if this isn't your cup of tea don't read it. There is also NO Incest this means: no brother/sister shipping’s, cousin shipping’s, father/daughter shipping’s and mother/son shipping’s. We also frown upon; dating someone else's father, and mother if they are all ready married. Role-Playing Rules 1. Role-playing Standards Ok the role-playing standards are a very important thing. I do not expect all of you to put out 1,000 word posts every time that would be way too much. But if you could do 2 to 3 OR 3 to 4 detailed paragraphs that would be enough. Paragraphs have any where from 4 to 6 sentences to them. Please refrain from using one liners, we don’t want to see them on the site, but if you are making improvements that is fine. Just remember No One Liners Please! 2. Power Playing/God-modding You are not allowed to control anyone else’s character in any way shape or form. We all know it’s annoying so please don’t do it. You may hint at what you’d like the other character to do but that’s about it. Please put ‘Jane loves Captain Jack Sparrow’ in the ‘who does Jane love’ section of your application. 3. Spamming [part two] Please do not spam anywhere but in the provided forum. This also includes double posting! Remember the edit button is your friend so use it often. Also please don’t tack a lot of OCC on your IC posts. It’s ok if you tell the other role-player something about your character while you are role-playing. Just don’t put [Wow! I’m going to go see Snakes on a Plane in thirty minutes]. You can save that for the spamming forum. 4. Being Accepted You can only officially role-play when you have been accepted. That also includes posting in the avatar claim section. Please don’t post there until we have approved you. The post will deleted and someone else will be given a chance to claim that celebrity if they’d like. 5. Character Limit Yes there is a character limit on this site. The character limit is set to Five. You can have more then that only if you can handle it. You also must pm and Admin to get the ok for more then four characters. Out of these five characters two of then must be a boy. Yes that’s right you must role-play at least two boys. There is all ways a boy shortage and everyone should at least try and help out getting everyone shipped. 5a. When choosing the characters you want to role-play remember they can not inter act with each other! Sometimes it may not be avoidable but we don’t want you role-playing brother and sister. Or two Weasley’s if you can help it, unless you state they hate each other and never speak. 6. Using Celebrity’s Correctly After you have claimed your celebrity make sure you use a picture of them as your avatar, in your signature or both. We all like to know what your character looks like. This just helps us visualize it better. Signature Rules 1. Signature Limit The signature limit for signatures on this site is; 500 [width] x 300 [height]. Please nothing bigger then that. We have to remember that some of our role-players may have slower computers, and it slows computers down even more with larger pictures to load. A few pixels off isn't bad, but please keep to the guidelines. If it's too big, we will take it out and replace it with a very nice message with a warning of your picture size. 2. Icon Limit There is an Icon limit and it is set at 6 Icons per signature. No more then that please unless they are merged into one image. 3. Links In Signatures Links to other sites isn’t allowed in Signatures, that’s what the Promotion forum is for. If you’d like your site added just go over and add it. ^___^ 4. Parents In You Signature Because this is a second generation site there will be a lot of confusion on who is who. Especially with the Weasley Family; their offspring will be cousins. So to not have any shipping disasters please place your parents in your signatures! This goes for every character really, that way we don’t have to look up who your parents are.
