Yes, that’s the place songs like ‘Going Through the Big D’ by Chesnutt Mark and ‘Dallas’ by
Allen Jackson. TV shows made about the city and home to the Dallas Mavs. There’s many
things going on in Dallas. Heck, one of them even happens to be High School, yeah that’s right.
High School. South Dallas High just happens to be one of the many High Schools in Dallas.
There’s drama around every corner it seems. But what most students are trying to do is just get
out of school, get to college, or just follow their dreams. First they have to pass their TAKS test
their junior year to even think about graduating. Once you’ve gotten out of the High School
though, you're out into the real world. Paying the bills, holding down a job, heck, you may be one of
the few who actually applied to a local college. There's tons of them here for you not to apply
unless your dream was to do something other then school. One thing is for sure if you’re going
to High School or you're in College, or Teaching or you're just being one of the many locals you still
have things to learn, you never stop learning, and that is in its self is ALL WE KNOW -----------
