General Board Rules
ok the rules are very simple.

No godmodding (making your character invincible)
No spamming (double posting or posting heaps and heaps after yourself you know there is a thing called EDIT) Unless you are in a roleplay by yourself.
Your character has to be original but i dont mind if you take the characters picture from maybe an actual character from a game or tv show.
Your character can have magic abilities but to a limit.
When you have created a character wait to be approved before roleplaying.
All Roleplaying is in third person.

GODMODDING
You cannot control any character but your own. While fighting you cannot say that your attack hit. Depending on your characters strengths you can be hit or dodge. Be reasonable however, godmodding also includes never being hit and being extremely strong.

For example:
Bob and Joe are fighting. Bob has high agilty, defence, and low strength while Joe has high defence, high strength, but very low agility and luck. If Joe attacks Bob, Bob may have the speed to react at least 2/3 times however if Bob strikes Joe he isn't going to do as much damage as Joe would if he struck Bob.

KNOWLEDGE
Yes you can have smart characters that know dictionary definitions of many many words, but, if something comes up that someone of your characters rank wouldn't have heard of then you can't simply say that they read it in a book. Also, just because you yourself know something about other peoples characters, your character doesn't neccessarily know unless they were told or were spying.

MURDER AND DEATH
Now, murder is a common word, we all know what it means. Well you aren't allowed to murder in this game, though you are allowed to kill. Now some people may already know what I'm talking about others won't.

Lets bring our friends Bob and Joe back for an example of murdering:
Bob and Joe are nearing the end of thier battle: Joe says that he stabbed Bob and Bob is now dead.
Wrong, that's not the way to do it. Lets have Bob show us how to kill someone:
Bob says that he stabbed Joe. Joe says that he died. Joe is now dead.
Correct! This is the proper way to kill a character.

Now if your character dies, well then tough cookies it's your fault for getting in over your head. If you write yourself into a corner with a hundred beasts surrounding your three man team and two of your members are already dead don't expect someone from your guild to come and save you unless it was a plot plan or the character was watching the entire topic or from midway through.


POST LENGTH
I hate one sentence posts. If you use them then you better improve pretty darn fast. A one sentence post can be appropriate in very very few situations but other then that I want at least a paragraph.

THIS OR THAT
Your character can not be good at everything. If he is a warrior that is extremely strong, good defence, super fast, extremely lucky, and awesome at magic he won't be accepted. However if your character is a strong warrior with good defence, fast for his size and weight, with terrible luck and absolutely no magical ability that will be accepted. You can't have everything, try to make realistic characters.

COURTESY
If a topic is open, you can join. But, if a topic is open and two characters already have 15 or more posts have some consideration to ask before your bring your character in. If it says ISO don't post there unless that is your characters name behind it. Don't be a topic hogger. If you have two with your character going let someone else RP the new open topic that just popped up. Also don't always reply to the same characters open topic. If they wanted to see your character they'd put ISO. Open is usually to meet new characters.

PREFIXES
CI - Character Involved
AC - Active Character
IC - Involved Character
CU - Character Used
They all mean basically the same thing. It's often used when people have multiple characters so people know which character they are using in the topic.
ISO - In Search Of
This just means they are only looking for that specific character. If they put ISO: Karen, don't reply unless you're Karen. If they put ISO: Karen and Open then you can reply if you are Karen or not, and if they put ISO: Open you can reply if you are anyone.
Open after _____ posts
This means that the topic is open after the certain character posts first. for example: Open after Karen posts. This means after Karen posts you can come in as well.

If you post in an ISO post for a certain character your post will be deleted without warning and your warning level will be increased.

RELATIONSHIPS
yes your character may have a relationship with another character but keep it simple.

As you may have noticed the countries aren't under the Continent they belong to. I will tell you what country is where etc. Yoroshii is a catagorey, under that catagorey is Koigokoro. Koigokoro is a country of Yoroshii, so whatever catagorey under the Yoroshii catagorey before the Kuragari catagorey is a country of Yoroshii and the same for Kuragari. If you are still confused pm me and i'll help you out.
