~Parking lot terror~

Character:
Name: Mika
Age: 16
Clothes: Pink jumper, knee length brown skirt, black boots
Personality: Shy and a bit of a loner, she was the outcast until the high school hottie, Scoot took a liking to her and began to date her.
Strengths: Can be quite stealth like.
Weaknesses: Scared easily.


Monster: Werewolf
Looks: Long brown and grey hair, huge claws and teeth. Rather tall.
Strength: Very fast.
Weakness: Finds it hard to be quiet.

~now time to begin, mwuhahaha~

Mika was sat in the school library, studying for her English exam tomorrow. She pushed back a strand of hair that fell in front of her face and squinted her eyes, it was rather dark and she could hardly see the writing on the page. She sighed and sat back in her chair, leaning her head over the back. She closed her eyes and thought of her exam. Mika hated exams and would normally be “ill” on exam days.
Her phone awoke her from her little day dream. She leaned forwards and looked at her pink mobile, it was her boy friend Scoot, who was also the school heart throb.
She smiled and pressed the answer button.
“Hiya Scoot, are you in the parking lot yet? I am bored to death of this crap” said Mika.
“Yeah I’m out her babe, on the top floor. I’ve got a surprise for you, don’t be long now will you” he said with a little laugh.
Mika laughed, “Ok I’ll be there in a second, I’ll take the lift, bye”
“See ya in a sec”.
Mika ended the call and smiled. She gathered up her books and put them in her bag that was hanging over her seat, she had to lean over to reach it and her hand went slide along the table. She bit her lip and looked up. She shrugged and stood up, to excited to worry about anything. She ran to the door and pushed it open, stepping through. She ran down the hall towards the main entrance, her face in a permanent smile.
The library was silent, dark and motionless. A light suddenly filled the room and a song. Under the table…..was a phone saying the words “Scoot calling”.

Mika ran out of the school and down the road towards the parking lot. The street was deserted. Mika stopped for a moment, looking around her. She held her bag close as she looked behind her. Although there was nothing there, she felt as if she was being watched, she didn’t know why but she felt as if there was someone right next to her. She looked into the bushes that lay beside her, her eyes wide with fear. The bush was covered in a slimy substance. She extended her hand and touched it with one finger. She pulled it back and looked at the finger. It wasn’t familiar to her, and it felt rather disgusting.
A small groan came from inside the bush. Mika’s head shot up. A small glimmer of red shone through, as if there was a large cat inside the bush. Mika stepped back, it was way to big to be a cat. She turned and ran along the road and towards the parking lot once again, which was now in view and just around the next bend. She stopped as she rounded the corner, breathing in hard,
“Come on Mika, there is no such thing as monsters” she told herself.
She looked down the road, a car was coming. She stopped at the edge and waited for it to pass. She crossed the road and stood in front of the large parking lot. She smiled and jumped up, to excited now to be frightened. She walked inside the entrance and looked across the lot, the lift was at this floor. She smiled, Scoot must have left it down for her. She walked along, humming to herself. There were virtually no cars in the lot, except one in the far corner. Mika shrugged and continued onto the lift. She thought she’d phone Scoot to tell him she was on her way. She continued to walk as she searched through her bag, looking for her phone, which was of course no longer there. She sighed and stopped, rummaging through the neatly packed bag.
“What the hell? I had it at the library. **** I must have left it at the library” she said,
“I’ll pick it up tomorrow I guess”. She closed her bag and finally reached the lift. She pressed the button to open the doors. As she pulled back he finger, she noticed the same substance covered the button as it did at the bush. She frowned and looked at her finger, it was a clear substance, it almost seemed like dog slobber. She wiped her hand on a piece of tissue and threw it behind her. The lift doors opened and she stepped in, pressing the button to take her to the top floor.
“That….stuff on the bush…and then the button, it’s strange..” she said to herself.
The light at the top flicked from one floor to the next, there was a strange noise coming from above Mika, like a hard breathing sound. Mika looked up slowly…..Her eyes widened…the entire top of the lift was covered in the same stuff as before. Mika backed against a wall and looked up, it was disgusting, but one thing bothered her….it seemed a lot more fresh then the other two times, as if it had only been put there a few minutes before. The doors flung open and Mika jumped out, checking to make sure none of it fell on her. She looked around for Scoots car, she noticed it in the far corner, right next to the edge. She looked back at the lift as the doors closed, it was like everywhere she went it followed her. She shook her head and walked across the lot towards Scoots car, she could see him in the drivers side. She smiled and waved, but he didn’t see her. She rolled her eyes and began to run towards him, she would feel much better once she was with him, in his presence she always felt safe. She knew he would always protect her. As she reached the car, she saw Scoot not moving at all. She gasped and ran as fast as she could towards it. She went round the back and over to his side. She reached the door and looked inside, but the window was to steamy…she could hardly see a thing, then she heard it…that same noise again just like in the lift. She banged on the window and then looked round trying to find the source of the noise. There was nothing out of the ordinary in sight. She looked up…and still saw nothing. The car window suddenly rolled down, making Mika near fall in.
“Hey babe what took you so long?” Scoot asked. Mika turned and sighed in relief
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you” she replied. Scoot opened the door and hugged Mika, as if he hadn’t seen her in 20 years. As they pulled away, the noise filled the room again, this time more extreme. Scoot looked around,
“What the hell was that?” he said. Mika looked round behind them, she wanted to find out what this thing was.
“Ehhh” said Scoot from behind her. Mika turned, her eyes widened and her jaw unhinged. Scoot was covered in the slobber. Mika stepped back, her breathing rate increasing, her heart pounding.
“WHAT IS THIS STUFF” shouted Scoot. He looked up. Mika noticed the sheer horror in his face. She followed his gaze to the ceiling and the same expression occupied her face. The ceiling was covered in the slobber, and in the middle, a body hung, or what was left of it. Mika screamed and fell to the floor, the ceiling was clear only moments ago, how could it now suddenly be covered like that, and how did it get there. Scoot looked down at Mika, his face still horrified.
The body was covered in blood, cuts and marks also. Certain parts were also missing. Blood began to drip onto the floor, not far from where Mika was sitting. She got to her feet and turned to Scoot,
“I wanna get out of here Scoot” she said,
“Me to” he replied, without thinking, he ran to Mika and grabbed her hand and running towards the lift. Mika looked behind, a shadow was behind them, and it wasn’t theirs, it was way to big…it was the creature from the bush. It was following them, if the shadow was just one big blob, there was nothing to lead her to see where it was, the only light was coming from above….Mika gasped. She looked up. Her eyes meet with the creatures, they were blood red, longing for the spill of blood. It was only a few meters away, if it leaped it would surely catch her. Mika forgot she was still moving, her legs stiffened at the sight of the beast. She fell, dragging Scoot with her.
“Are you-” he stooped, he to had seen it. Mika again looked up, it was no longer there, then she realised, it was on ground level, and staring straight at Scoot, as if it didn’t even notice Mika. It growled and moved forward slightly,
“Holy ****” Scoot said. He went to get up, but he was to slow. The beast jumped through the air, right over Mika and landed on top of Scoot. It snarled and growled, trying to get a grip on his leg.
“Ahhhh, get off me you stupid thing” said Scoot, hitting it’s head with his hand. Mika got to her feet and ran towards them. She hit the beast’s back. It turned to her and bared it’s teeth. Mika stopped. It slashed out at her, catching her cheek, but the force pushed her to her feet. The thing finally got a grip on Scoots leg, digging it’s teeth deep into his leg.
“AHHHHH” screamed Scoot. The beast dragged him towards the lift. Scoot looked at Mika, his hands out stretched,
“RUN MIKA” he shouted.
“NO, I WON’T LEAVE YOU” she replied. She got to her feet and ran after him, it was hopeless, the beast was way to fast. It dragged him into the lift. Scoots eyes gazed into Mika’s. He mouthed the words “run” as a tear dropped down his cheek. Mika extended her arm. The beast jumped up, and pulled Scoot with it.
“NOOO” shouted Mika. She ran to the lift and got inside, it had gone up out of the door in the lift roof. She only just caught a glimpse of it, before it disappeared. Mika fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face. She bit her lip and clenched her fist, she had to fulfil Scoots last wish, to escape this place alive. She wiped her eyes and stoop up. She walked out of the lift and looked around…the room was now pitch black, the lights had gone out….
Again Mika’s heart rate increased. She looked around in her bag for a torch or anything, but she never carried torches so there was no point. She wiped a final tear from her eye and turned. Glimmering white teeth stood in front of her.

A scream filled the parking lot, and the street below…..
