November 22nd - The coldest, most bitter part of the winter has come, the new year having recently past. Blizzards seem to be blowing harshly more often than not, and some areas of the pack lands are becoming impassable to wolves, with snow banks reaching tremendous heights. All lakes as well as slow-flowing rivers have frozen over sturdily enough to be tread upon, but caution is still urged.
Current Meetings ; be sure to remember to post! Hellion Faction - Lookout Mountain - Wolfiend Captives - Timber Woods - &Wolfiends
Also all new characters/members that are wolves/shifters must begin to join a pack within 2 weeks of their register date or they WILL be captured by the Wolfiends.

Alright, lets be realistic, a wolf by it self can not catch any formidable game, so for the sake of preserving the semi-realistic setting, this will be a thread for the soldiers, Feroce and Stryker as well as Lex, Adelemo and Allison. Once the five of them have felled the moose or whatever it is we end up having them hunt down, the rest of the pack members will be summoned to eat.
(: so that is that. IC Post coming in the next post.

She could feel the dull rumble of hunger burning in the pit of her already lean stomach. The hare that she'd been making due off of seemed to be growing increasingly scarce with the set in of thick snow banks. There were ruts made by herself and the others of the packs, but in this area of the territory the snow managed to come up to meet her chest, even with her long and thin legs. What was good about the heavy snow, was it brought back what few Moose there were. They seemed to just love the plains, and she'd been aching to chase one of them down since they'd first returned. Now, with hunger driving her actions she could resist not a moment longer.
She was a good few miles from where she'd last tracked the smallest bull of the heard. He would still be more than enough to satisfy the entire pack. Trembling with excitement, her black muzzle titled back, belting out a summons for a select few; Adelemo, Lex, Feroce and Stryker. She'd summon the rest of the pack once the kill was made, she needed only the men of her army for this hunt.

Auds twitched as he heard a howl, and listened carefully and he knew he was one of the ones being called. He would of ran but the stupid snow was getting high for the young brute to move quickly through. "Stupid snow." He muttered under his breath as he moved slowly till he found a trail that was beaten down by the other members of the pack.
Once upon the path he was able to move at a quicker pace, but it was still some what slower than normal with the random patches of ice that the young brute managed to come across. He blinked coming closer to the plains, he had yet to come to this part of the territory so he really didn't know it all to well. Soon enough though he came upon were Allison called them to. He was some what surprised with the fact that he was the first one to answer the call." Hello Allison" he said with a small smile upon his maw as he bowed respectfully to her.His gray and creme pelt had grown thicker as it still grew colder protecting him from the chilling nights that graced them here. Granted he knew it probably wasn't as bad as other places but he still wasn't a fan of it all that much. The snow he loved and could spend hours just amusing himself in it. Sometimes he could act like the pup he wished he still was but he could be serious at the same time. He sat back and waited patiently knowing that he'd have to wait till the others appeared to find out what was going on.

Adelemo bounded playfully through the abundant snow with a gleaming smile upon his leathery black lips. It stretched his maw until his sharp white teeth showed and his wild eyes sparkled with more life than could have been possible a few months ago. For Adelemo everything had turned around: he was in love with the Alphess of a expanding pack and his haunting nightmares hadn't appeared in his dreams for the past couple of weeks. It seemed as if all the burrs of the past had faded and fallen away when he met Allison and integrated into her pack. He couldn't help but love every moment like his last, even when he was alone and away from his love. Every second was a treasure. Every sight a masterpiece of life.
Even in troubling times such as these. He was worried of course, like all other wolves, but he couldn't help but relish the comfortable feeling that filled his strong bones as he leaped from snowpile to snowpile. He even laughed a little. Why not? It was winter and the world was all anew.
He waltzed through the mush until he heard Allison's call nearby. He paused for only a short minute then he was at her side in mere heartbeats. He ran so fast that he was panting heavily when he came upon her. He smiled adoringly though as he took his place beside her. He greeted his mate with a warm lick. Then he grinned, glancing excitedly around him. He didn't know what it was - maybe it was the weather - he couldn't tell but he loved the endless energy that flowed through him like lightning bolts. He knew something interesting was going to happen. And he just couldn't wait.

Feroce didn't like snow. Back when he was able to live the human life, he would stay indoors to stay warm and avoid any snow. He thought it was beautiful to look at, but being in it was not his favorite thing in the whole world. Unfortunately for him, he was stuck having to navigate through it as a wolf for the time being. He wasn't exactly happy about this, but he knew had to suck it up and take it like a man if he was going to survive out here.
Carefully and cautiously making his way to the hunting group, Feroce looked around to see some familiar faces. Well duh...they were at the pack meeting. Doubt anyone new will be here. He made sure he greeted his Alpha respectfully with a slight bow and gave a slight nod to the other wolves in the area that looked his way. He figured if he was friendly and stayed positive, this wouldn't be so bad. He didn't say anything though and merely kept quiet, waiting for the orders on his first pack hunt.

ooc: lol, i don't know why i forgot to add this on to my Adelemo post. Oh well. ;)
It felt like Christmas...was it Christmas already? Alexander's fuzzy white cranium tilted back as he stared up into the winter sky. His whole body blended in well with the blanketed world, as he rolled from side to side, on his speckled beige back. His paws hung suspended in the air as he flailed them gently every few moments. He felt the steady beat of his large, bushy tail thump at the ground as he smiled a little. He couldn't help but reminisce about winters past spend back in America...
They weren't always cold, but he could always remember the bitterness that seeped into his bones as he put on his shows for all the towns to see. There wasn't always snow either - he remembered a year in California where the sun shined like it was the middle of the summer. The world was a different place back then - it almost seemed more dangerous as he looked back on it now. But, of course, that was stupid because wherever he looked these days there was some sort of danger. From humans. From the Wolfiends. From 'cruel' nature itself. He was hungry. He closed his eyes as he turned his head to the side to lick at some of the snow on the ground.
It was a bad idea - he forgot about the pollution. He rolled the stuff around in his mouth for moment then he spit it out. He shut his calm blue eyes again as he sighed. He hated being alone. It just brought up things he didn't want to think about. He rolled onto his side when he heard his Alphess's call. He paused, breathing sharply for a second, then he rose to his feet slowly. He took his time as he picked his way through the snow. He felt no urgency today, at least until the clump of wolves came into view. Then he quickened his pace until he was among them. He seemed a bit haggard (he hadn't sleep in a few days) and he smiled wanly at his pack mates. He knew what they were all here for - they were going on a pack hunt. He couldn't help but smile somewhat more. The thought of food made the festive mood of the season seem even closer to reality.

Her wait wasn't all too long, seeing the newest recruit making his way over to her after but a few minutes of waiting, her vibrantly green eyes scanning the horizon. Her thick plume swayed back and forth in a welcoming manner as a small smile curved her slender muzzle. "Hello" she greeted warmly, though not breaking her stance of dominance.
She wasn't alone with the new brute for long. Her darling Adelemo, seemingly sparked with boundless energy came to join her at her side. He was so devoted to simply being there as a support as well as company for her. She truly adored him, but with the pressing matter of manging the pack and the inter-pack relations in such a trying time left her with no where near as much time alone as she wanted. Things would eventually slow down when the shock receded. Her slender neck craned her muzzle forward, gently nuzzling him a moment and giving him a warm smile. "Hello love" she cooed, licking him ever so gently.
Feroce had followed not far behind Adelemo. She gave a small nod and another small smile. She was glad it was just to be the five of them, she would be getting further acquainted with the newer members such as both Feroce and Stryker. There were only waiting on Lex now, and his arrival was but a few minutes after Feroce's. With the entire group assembled she knew it was time to begin. She didn't want to waste too much time and allow the moose she had tracked get too far from them.
Clearing her throat, she beamed a charming smile at the four males, feeling oddly invigorated knowing she would be the only female participating in the hunt. She loved having strength comparable to that of males - she had rigorous training and exercise programs that had been comitted to habit to thank for that. Looking first at Lex, she addressed him, being that he was the next 'official' in the pack chain-of-command. "Lex, You shall take the two soldiers, Stryker and Feroce in your party." she had assumed they knew what was going on, but now she took a quick minute to fill in any sketchy areas. "There's a Bull-Moose in the plains that I tracked to about three miles north of us. We will be splitting up to take him from both sides. Adelemo and I will out flank him, and attempt to drive him towards the three of you." With that, she turned, ready to fall into a pack formation to cover the three miles. They would stay in formation until she halted them to split.
Adelemo was to be to her right, but slightly behind Lex who would run to her left. Stryker and Feroce would be expected to fall in respectively behind the three of them. This would be good for the pack, She would finally see how Lex handled the troops he was supposed to be in direct command of. Her slow loping strides increased slightly, her reddish form leading the formation of wolves forward, ready to get the hunt underway.

Stryker smiled back to Allison as she greeted him, sitting there happily as he awaited the others to arrive. His tassle swayed slightly in the snow as each of the other males called showed. His attention was drawn back to Allison as he heard her speaking once more. As she said that he and Feroce would be going with Lex, his gaze shifted for a moment to the male, before going back to his Alpha as she explained what was going on.
He listened as she explained that they would be hunting a bull moose, he suppressed the grin he could feel forming staying focused as she spoke. Than she was getting up and leading them towards the moose, He stood on all fours stretching somewhat as he waited for his place and soon fell into rank behind those in the hunting party.

"Love you," Adelemo murmured quietly in Allison's ear as he stayed close to her side as the other filed in. He really needed to get to know these wolves...they were his pack mates, after all. But during all this commotion, he barely had anytime to be with Allison anymore. It was a bit disheartening, but he dealt with it. It would all be over soon...
Adelemo's ears perked up when Allison began to explain a hunt. A hunt! He smiled in complete interest as she mentioned a bull moose and that he and Allison would be on one side, driving it towards the rest. He saw this as not only an opportunity for food and gaining some knowledge of the rest of his pack mates, but also as time to spend with his mate. Even if their objective was to fell a moose. He instantly jumped up to follow his love, falling in place easily as he did.

This was Feroce's first pack hunt. Part of him was glad to finally be doing something exciting and the other part was wishing it was a hot plate of spaghetti that awaited him at the end. Too bad the latter wasn't going to happen for a long time. He was quiet and listened to his alpha's orders and plans to take down the moose. After he saw that she had finished speaking, he looked over at Lex and waited for him to take the lead before he and Stryker joined the group.
He usually wasn't one to compete, but for some reason seeing Stryker at the same pace as him, made him want to go faster. It wasn't that he was looking for some kind of extra respect for putting more effort into what they were doing by any means. Something didn't feel right about this wolf and he wasn't sure what it was. Whatever it was, it was bothering Feroce.
ooc: LOL idk about the last part.
