December 6th - Spring has finally arrived in Wolf's Tear! The sun is attempting to shine through the clouds of pollution that shades the lands, the snow has lifted, and food is abundant once again. Hope you guys enjoy the new spring layout! (Janine's note: the background may or may not be seen correctly depending on your computer's settings -- I will try and fix it asap.)

Throughout the years, the lands of Wolf's Tear has faced a myriad of disasters, plagues of bloody deaths and wars that left even the earth deeply scarred. Forever there seems to be a violent turmoil boiling between the humans and their elite league of scientists and trappers, known only as The Wolfiends, and those who truly belong - the wolves. Times of peace have graced these beautiful lands for only short periods of time throughout history, and yet for as long as most can remember there has been a calm wind - but it can only be the calm before the storm.
Wolves seem to be forgetting their ancestry, leading human-based lives. They have forgotten who they are, and where it is they come from. There is a storm brewing upon the horizon that promises a rude awakening for all of this region. The Guardians of Wolf's Tear have been simply puttering about, becoming hermits of sorts. They were seen rarely if ever. Yet not all of them have be idle, for one particularly sinister daughter of Destiny, Aslym, has been occupied for quite some it. It was time these mongrels awoke to who they really were.
The guardian of diseases and death worked with something the humans readily provided; pollution. The power given off by the luminescent moon permitted the wolves to shift into humans and disguise themselves. Just as the Guardian's had given wolves this ability, Aslym was to take it away. Using nearly all of the power within her, she amplified the toxins of the human pollution. Quickly a haze begun to form, first around the city and then multiplying, expanding over the wilderness of the pack-lands. The inhabitants of the shrouded region now face dusky days, where the light of the sun just barley makes it through the toxic smog. At night, the skies are the milkiest black, the moon at stars blotted out entirely. All of the guardians have lost the ability to use the powers Destiny had granted them, helpless to reverse what Aslym has done. The wolves are left exposed, unable to shift into their human forms and conceal themselves from the Wolfiends. They are left with two options - to flee or to ally themselves with one of the packs and just pray for the best.
Which choice will you make?
Note: All topics made after September 1st, 2009 of any shifters MUST be in wolf form. All members are expected to take part of the plot in one way or another. It's crucial that all loners join a pack, or they WILL be captured by the Wolfiends.
