Welcome - to Wolf

November 22nd - The coldest, most bitter part of the winter has come, the new year having recently past. Blizzards seem to be blowing harshly more often than not, and some areas of the pack lands are becoming impassable to wolves, with snow banks reaching tremendous heights. All lakes as well as slow-flowing rivers have frozen over sturdily enough to be tread upon, but caution is still urged.

Current Meetings ; be sure to remember to post!
Hellion Faction - Lookout Mountain - Wolfiend Captives - Timber Woods - &Wolfiends

Also all new characters/members that are wolves/shifters must begin to join a pack within 2 weeks of their register date or they WILL be captured by the Wolfiends.

He smirked as he looked down at her, sitting down and letting his tail swish back and forth. "What happens in spring . . . between all animals?" he asks softly, then laying down, being causious as he scotted closer to her face.

That was an odd question. "Umm..." Amora thought through several different options, all of which were stupid, before realization dawned on her face. "OH! You wanna mate with someone?" She giggled. "Sure, as long as she's in the pack... we needs the puppies. So who is she? One of our members or are ya gonna introduce her sometime soon?"

Noble shook his head lightly and sat back on his haunches once more. "Well . . . " he said, thinking it over, smiling softly, the breeze blowing his fur in a way that made him look, well . . . noble as his name profound him to be. "I'm looking at her." he states simply.

At first, Amora glanced over her shoulder, expecting to see another wolf or a wolf in human form standing behind her and she hadn't noticed (that wasn't uncommon to her), but... there was no one. Just her. That was when she would have done a face-plant if she weren't already on the ground. "ME? You're referring to me?!" Her jaw dropped. That was definitely something she wasn't expecting. Now what was she supposed to say? "Um... I'm flattered and all... and I mean I like you, but... not like that. I'm not really a meet-and-mate type, if ya know what I mean..." She stuttered, a bit embarassed.

He chuckles softly and walked a few steps towards the river and took a large drink of water before looking back up at her. "That's all right." he states lightly. "Spring's almost over anyway, if there were to be pups born, they'd be born late . . . I think anyway, but yeah, that's me." he states and moved to launch upward, landing on a rock in the middle of the river, trying to show off a bit.

Amora's embarassed smile didn't really fade away.... wow... that was really awkward actually. Didn't expect that at all... well at least he didn't seem too crushed that she'd just pretty much downright refused him. Maybe he'd thought it would be a long shot in the first place. "I dunno much about pups either." She rolled over onto her stomach again and stood up, giggling when Noble jumped into the middle of the river. She'd never be able to make it by jumping, so she just leapt into the river and splashed her way over to where he was, letting the river buffet her timber coat and dig her claws into the riverbed to keep the current from knocking her over. The White Water River was pretty strong even in calm areas.

He shrugs lightly to her, then looked down at her. "Everyone tells me that it just comes to you when it happens, I don't know." he states lightly, then sits, licking his paw breifly.

"I've seen mothers nurture pups that arn't even there own before, out where the twoleggeds are, that and in the wild, they nurture eachother it seems." he states, as he then coiled his legs and sprung to the next rock.

Amora listened with a shred of seriousness evident. She had never been around children to know of her motherly instincts... heck, she hadn't even been around anyone who even had children! And any children she was around weren't that young, or in Laika's case was a lot like her so they both acted more like children than Amora being a mother towards her. So she had absolutely no idea what it was like to be a mother... or how to act at being one. It was weird.

"Wow..." She said, a little awe in her voice, as she jumped part-way out of the water in her attempt to reach Noble's new spot faster. "I mean, when me and Amaroq traveled the world, we didn't focus on that stuff... I never really saw it. Good eye." She beamed at him, liking the water all of a sudden. She felt like she'd never get out.

"Yeah." he states, looking down at her before leaning down and getting a cool, cold drink of water, then lifting his head up he looked at her once more, water dripping from his chin. "It's easy to see when you've been from pack to pack in different lands till I came here." he states, laying down on the rock he was on, comfortable at the moment.

Amora just had to stop in a rather strong current at that exat moment, so she dug her claws into the rocks below her paws and held steadfast against the water. She could stand losing to a rock, barely; but to water? Never, no way. "Me and Amaroq... we never stayed in packs. We were loners most of the time; except the once before I found him." She shrugged. "The last time I was in a pack before this was when Parker Paris was still Alphess of Timber Woods, before she joined the Wolfiends; you wouldn't know her... but I was in her pack a few years back. And then before that... I don't remember. I don't remember much of my childhood, actually." She admitted the end without much thought, so it couldn't really be admitted, but... it was still personal info from her, so she was trusting him.

He smiles lightly and jumps into the water, jumping over her and bracing against her to kee the water from pulling her downstream. "Well, I think you should explore your options, if you want to see pups with mothers I can show you just outside this country, though we have to cross a couple of roads."

Amora giggled when Noble jumped off his high rock to stand next to her, keeping her from getting sucked downstream... even though she really could've handled it herself. It was nice, though. The giggle turned into a full-out laugh when Noble mentioned traveling around. "Man, if you'd asked that question less than a week or two ago, I probably would've said yes." The timber fae dipped her maw in the water for a moment, just to let it run over her fur before lifting it back up. "But as it were, I am now the Alphess of a pack and can't afford to leave on some long journey... and you're the Sigma, so you gotta stick around to help. Our Beta happens to be a young girl for now, so you're my next best thing."

He smiles at her lightly and shook his fur, slowly starting to walk acroos the river to the other side. "Well, it was a thought, if you ever change your mind about pups, let me know." He states lightly, reaching the bank, he climbed out and shook off before laying down, trying to get dry.

ooc: sorry for the long wait, but I'm back now! ^^

Plain brown eyes followed Noble's path up the gently sloping bank to the edge of the river, her head cocked in a curious position as she watched, thinking over his statement. The strange thing was, she was trying to figure if he was just a friend or something else. More like a friend for right now. She hardly knew the guy, and pups weren't really on her agenda at the moment. "Kay!" She called cheerily to him, leaping up to the rock where Noble had been before he jumped back into the water. After a long pause, she violently shook her body, little droplets of water flying in every direction before she laid down, waiting for Noble to speak first.

Noble soon lifted his head and began to groom himself, trying to dry his fur, which looked closer to black when wet. He soon sighed and gave up, standing and shaking violently trying to dry off. It succeeded in a way although he was starting to look poofy.
He looked over to Amora and smiled. "So . . . have we had a pack meeting or anything recently?" he asks, just being curious. He knew it was mid-summer and that it would start getting cold before long and food would start becoming scarce.

note: this topic is exempt from the whole forced wof shift thing (if in human form) becasue the topic was created before sept. 1st. just saying ^^

Amora wasn't really bothered by being damp - even though summer was beginning to cool into Fall and that SUCKED. She liked Spring and Summer and maybe a little of Fall and of course if she liked Fall and Spring then she had to like Winter too... maybe it didn't suck at all. Whatever, the point was that the chilled wind was going to make her fur colder than it usually was when it was damp. Oh well.. at least she was a wolf and had more fur... fur. Or something like that.

Noble's words made her stop that train of thought and move onto the one he'd just mentioned. "Well..." She mused quietly. Come to think of it, they hadn't had a pack meeting in a while, not a real serious one anyways. She'd had one when she first became Alphess but that was when there was no one in the pack except for her and Rayah and Laika (two people she hadn't seen in awhile) and so there hadn't been much to talk about or say. "No, we haven't had one in a long time. I might have to think about calling one soon."

He nodded and replied, looking at the reflection of himself in the river. He looked rather poofy. It made him sigh and shake his head. He looked over at her and smiled lightly. "So, what now?" he asked lightly, walking up to her.

Amora blinked a bit owlishly and cocked her head at Noble, who re-entered the water to head back to the rock. "IDK." She said with a small quirk of a smile. Talking in text was fun sometimes. "I guess we just scout the boundaries... do stuff important rankings in wolf packs do." She shrugged.

He smiles at her, still laying upon his spot. HE really was becoming attatched to Amora and was already a bit attracted to her, but it was slowly getting to be a stronger feeling. He didn't know what he'd do already if someone would try to hurt her or approach her in the wrong way.
