Terms Of Survice
General Board Rules

Hey, These are just some rules for everybody to follow.

These rules are to just try keeping the forum working in an orderly fashion, and these will be enforced by the moderators and administrators.

The 'Forum Leaders' will be willing to help at any point in time. Just PM them and ask, unless you feel it should be on a forum thread, if so, post in the right section.

Now for the rules:

1. No Flaming
-Flaming is just where somebody is acting hostile towards people(s). Depending on how harsh the flame war is, and who it is thrown at, flaming will be tolerated slightly, but keep with-in rule #2.

2. No Derogatory Messages
-Members found posting derogatory comments, of Race, Ethnic Origin, Sexual Preference, Religion. Such messages could be deleted, and that user might be warned once, after that you may be banned, the length of time will depend on how bad the comments where. A member may not get a warning before his first ban; it will be temporary and most likely 2 days plus. Understand this, this rule is very strict and is to be followed highly.

3. No Spamming
-Well this one wont be enforced heaps, but try to keep the amount of pointless posts down on the low scale of things. Don't "BUMP" a thread just to get it to the top, and if it is 3-4 weeks old and 3-4 pages back, and is "BUMPED" Will just be closed due to it being classed as spam, if the post was a worthy post we'll leave the thread be; this applies over all forums. Some forums won't be as closely moderated for spam, but don't go overboard, but this rule implies to the other forums.

4. No Porn
-Please don't go posting pictures of females or males having sex or being naked. There is no need for it on any site especially not this site. If somebody wants to look at porn; they will go to a site for it.

5. No Advertising
-It is ok to be advertising in your signature / avatar, but it's not acceptable to make a thread dedicated to it, nor is it okey to post it on somebody else’s thread. These will be deleted, and a possible warning might be in order.

6. Non Supportive Acts
-Do as the mods say, they are there to be listened to and followed as a leader. For an example: If a mod asks you to change your sig because it's just way to big, please do. Support your fellow mods, and you will be respected for it.

7. Re-editing
-If a mod edits your post, because it was maybe offensive or something, don't go edit it back to what it was, or you will just find your self in trouble, continuation of this may result in a temporary ban and eventually a permanent ban.

8. Stay On Topic
-Ok to some minimal degree try stay on topic and track of the topic at all times, at least make a subliminal note to the topic to try sustain the flow. Because once one person goes off topic, the whole thread can be in trouble with the followers. This won't be as closely followed in the "general" forum as much as others, due to the "general" forum is for pretty much anything goes.

9. Bumping Topics
-This was noted in the "No Spamming" rule, just to re-enforce to you, this is in fact a rule. Don't bump a thread that's old, 3-4 weeks, only to get it re-noticed, if you have something useful to post, that will contribute to the thread, go ahead and post it, but don't say something simple that is blatantly obvious you're then just trying to get the thread back to the top of the list. That will end up getting the thread closed or your post deleted.

10. Post Topics In The Correct Forum
-There are a lot of sections at this forum, So look around before wildly posting in wrong places, get to know which forum would suit your thread best, then post your thread there. Under each forum-title name there is a little bit of writing describing what should be posted in it.

11. Unnecessary Topics
-Do not post threads that are targeted specifically at a certain user. You can use the PM feature of the forum to contact another user, and any posts like this are subject to the spamming rule and will be closed or deleted.

12. Signatures
-Keep them reasonable, not HUGE, keep loading times to a minimal. Don't post anything real bad in them either, doing this may result in a temporary ban. Pay CLOSE EYE for the restrictions, as this will be lolowed alot.

13. Don't Type In All Caps
-95% of the time, no one will care to read what you posted, or you'll get flamed. Don't do it, plus a mod will then have to go to the trouble of editing your post to change it from caps to lower-case. Or maybe they'll just delete your post, so don't type in all caps.

14. Usernames
-If there offensive to other users, the account will be banned, no questions asked.

15. Multiple Posting
-It is simple, don't do it. Don't double post or triple post for that matter. If you make a post, don't make one after it, wait for someone else to reply so it isn't doubled. If you need to, edit your post and there you are, the message will still be read with out double posting.

16. Don't Disrespect The Mods or Admins
-They are trying to help, and make it better for you! So show them some respect. If you disagree with something a mod has done, pm them! Don't make it public, others users don't care. The mods are mature; they will sort it out somehow.

17. Respect Each Other
-This is a general thing, you respect people I'm sure in real life, and so do it here. Respecting someone will get you respect, and will make the board a better place. People who fail to respect other people will be issued a warning, along with bad 'rep' points. Failure to show respect after receiving the warning will have you warned, yet again.

18. Sending Viruses Around Is Not Allowed, Also No Account Stealing
-If anybody starts sending viruses around in PM's or in the open discussion boards, they will find there thread deleted, and banned straight away, this is not acceptable trying to cause damage to another person’s computer. Also any attempt on stealing another members account will have you permanent banned, we can track your IP, so we will ban you.

19. Report Offensive Posts
-Simple, report them instead of yelling out nothing but abuse, get the mod to take action, still have your say if you want, because of free speech, but make sure you stay mature and with in other rules. Do not abuse the "Report This Post to a Moderator" button, as this might cause you a warning, and the feature disabled.

20. Try To Use Correct Spelling And Grammar
-Now I know you all aren't great spellers, neither am I. But try to do your best instead of going "n i fin i dun good cuz lik tis iz ma 1st post do u undastan a fin i bin sayn?" No we don't, at least try to use grammar.

21. Contribute To Your Own Topic
-When making a new topic, make sense! I can't stress that enough, please expand on what you're saying as well, make it as elaborate as possible.
22. Use The Subject Line Effectively
-Instead of starting a new topic and going "help" Or "look" Say something like "I need help with my friend" Or "Look at my high score! What's yours?". Please elaborate as much as possible for the most effective amount of posts possible.

23. Use The "Search" Option
-Are you thinking on making a new topic? Well one of the most annoying things is making a new topic that all ready exists. Please find out if it has been posted before, if so, post your idea/question in that other thread.

24. Don't Ask To Be A Mod
-This forum chose the current moderators, they were chosen by how they post, how helpful they are, how active they are, It gets based around a lot of things: can we be trusted? Can we do what the job entails? Ect. Don't ask to be a mod, we want another mod will scope around the forums see who helps heaps and is active and can be trusted, don't make threads asking to be a mod, these will be locked, and might be deleted.

25. No Imitating Another Mod Or Member
-It's unacceptable to impersonate a mod or member, making an account name going close, and then trying to be that member, and make that member look bad, will result in the fake account being banned. It's also un-acceptable to make a name that's near the same as another members, if you're impersonating them or not these will be banned.

26.Off Topic
-Posting in a thread, in which your post does not have to do with what the title states, is prohibited. Your post count might go down.

27.Off Multiple Accounts
-You may not have more than one account at a time, unless one of them is a banned one.

You ARE allowed to make a new account, but after your second 100% warning, you IP is banned, and you are no longer allowed to be on this site.
Dont post anything that might get the staff's attention while on moderator review. The rules are STILL applied!

*Please remember you can be permanently banned with out any warnings, this will take place for any derogatory comments. Also, depending on how bad whatever rules you broke, you may be issued a ban longer then 2-weeks or 1-month. We as mods hold the right to ban anybody at any stage if a rule is broken, and don’t argue about it, you should have read the rules.*

And most of all, Have fun. If you follow all these, everybody will have a great time!
Enjoy!
