Sorry for being absent in the past few weeks. Why? The short version is that I forgot to renew my domain name. After that my database magically disappeared and the tech support was stupid.

The LONG version (AKA rant)

Well, firstly, I've temporary moved to another country. XD; So busy with new life and foreign environment, I forgot to renew my domain name. But that's only the first part.

The most frustrating part is that once the domain name was back on, somehow the server lost my database. I asked my hosting provider's tech support to see if they have a back up of my database before Oct 29. Apparently they had no idea and had the decency to tell me that "oh but you're very lucky, since this is not our advertised service, but we'll look for it." (Hah! I had a problem with my other website once and the tech support there finished restoring my back up in a day.)

After almost a week of keeping me entertained daily with stupid useless questions, at the end, I was informed that their server was undergoing a defragmentation which may take weeks, so they couldn't touch it (aka can't check for my back up). And of course, they were aware of this fact days before I sent them my first email. They just didn't find it significant enough to mention it to me, not even once even though I kept checking up on them everyday.

After I learned that they had no idea when the defrag will finish and even after it finishes, whether there is my database backed up.

So I rebuilt my website from scratch. Sorry all of your comments were lost but I've read and appreciated every one of them.
