Well played though, at the end i trooped up and down 2 times trying to add some rank as WarkaiD got closer to the clock, but i was worried when i saw him on vacation that he was going to prolong the age and i was all trooped up with no where to go! Was worried you might catch me today so i trooped down to have stuff on the market while i slept and forwent my page 1 finish!

You might have caught me, but i also trooped up 2 times last night, and had to black market wood to do so. If i hadn't done that and not gone 36 hours without logging in, i could have stayed ahead!

As i said i was over 600 wood a turn per worker, i was pushing 400k a turn production!

What is your iPop? Just curious.

Because I was at over 600 ore a turn per worker but was only at 250-300k because I didn't have enough population.

I just wonder if I hadn't sent out the 495 million gold what I could've done with that.

I wasn't even trying for it though. It just happened and I was selling tons. Only in the last 2.5 days did I start trying.

Also, in addition to what was your iPop, what was your highest amount of sales in one day?

I was over 1300 IPOP at the end.

As for best market day? I had a 24 hour period where i made just under 100 milllion. It happened when i had a big day of exams at school and didn't have a lot of log in time to refresh the market. I logged on to 15 mil sitting around and only 1.3 mil on the market. I dumped all mine, bought up the rest and put it back on, and went raiding for some stone and found a lot of wood on a few targets,. Within 30 minutes i had sent off around 23 mil in wood to market. I pumped it out all day and woke up the next morning to a disgustingly awesome market record!

Towards the end i was averaging 60 mil a day easy.

I can understand what you get buying on market and selling again to th titlle. You are working in a grocery in downtown market ??

That's when I was doing some massive purchasing and repricing in the last 2 days. I was undercutting every other market and selling ore at 3.

Funny thing is I received a message at one point during the age that you were losing regs. I didn't revenge cause you were IRON but maybe i should have :P

The only buying and repricing i did was when wood hit at 2 (or cheaper than average rate early in the age) i would buy it up and send it right back at 3. Most days I owned 50-70% of the wood market. Overnight Server Time i was usually around 85-90% of the wood market.

When other resources hit at 2 i was excited and would buy them up in a hurry in order to fill my banks! So the funny thing is that when you were undercutting it was likely me buying up your goods en masse.

Yeah, I owed slightly higher portions of the ore market during the day but less during the evening. How long did you find your stuff was on the market?

Yeah, I had 2 multi-revenges done on me all age, and one solo by Blebbin.

Overnight i could sell 15 mil in 3-4 hours no problem. As this trend became apparent i intentionally stacked wood up on the market so that overnight I could sell a ton of wood. My average wait the last 3 weeks was probably 2 1/2 hours before i was at the front of the market. After that it usually took a couple hours to sell through as i very rarely had small amounts at any given time. I was usually sending 3-5 million at a time.

Wow, that's fast. I was waiting anywhere from 4-16 hours a caravan :P

Selling stone at 3 was taking well over 12 hours for the last two or three weeks, often over 16 hours, and for a week or two it took over 24hrs to sell at 3 which is why I ended up making gold near the end as that gave me more profit that selling stone at 2 or waiting a day or more for it to sell at 3.

So switching to wood early on sounds as if it was a good move, korlaf ;-)

I didn't really look very close and notice the noticeable lack of elves in the age. that is most likely the reason i was able to make it in wood.

I was also to the point that i could turn a profit at 2 when wood was still at 4. So i had plenty of leeway in terms of choices, and that helped.

It's because elves get blasted into oblivion.
