OK, last night I made some more changes to the population code. Basically I removed all the population that housing gives you. In the original code, housing gave you population. Now however, it is just like in normal WOE, housing is where your population sleeps.
So when the code went in, everyone who had ramped up on huts to get free population suddenly is not going to get the population bonus for the huts any more. I am working on fixing the Command View to straighten things out.

I had posted that in the poll thread about the happiness but it really belongs here.
We need to know what changes so we can see if it is working properly

Last night I uploaded a few more changes that cleared up the Buildings page a bit, but the big patch that will get recruiting working completely is still not in. I expect to have that one in tonight.

I just uploaded a patch that should make a lot of the building/happiness/peasant huts/potential population issues a lot clearer now.

Could you also add an hourly check to check if you have more population than the total possible population? If that's the case, make it so that you 'delete' unassigned recruits first, than peasants, and then troops (or something like that, so we won't lose our troops to fast in ratio to our peasants)

Ok, the latest change was to removing housing from the game entirely. And I did some more fixes to recruiting.

Ok, I added some things that I hope will solve the database stopping error that brings the game to a halt. I also fixed the bug whereby people couldn't train troops due to lack of housing.

There's some new bugs now. I'm showing "Your people have less than 8 hours of food left to them! They need food or they will stop producing for you!" but I am making more food than I need. Also, Recruiting is off:
Population From Buildings: 468 Current Population: 422
Current Happiness: 95.98 Incoming recruits: 1, 3, 2, 3
Total Possible Population: 449 Total Population After Recruiting: 431

This issue is continuing. It used to be that your Total Population After Recruiting would equal your Total Possible Population, but this no longer appears to be true.
