Aim of the Game
From WOEkipedia

This depends on what you want to get out of it!
The "winner" of the round is the Grand Overlord who is the player ranked #1 over a certain size. Most people would consider being the Grand Overlord to be the ultimate aim.
Clans can also aim to be ranked #1 on the clan ranks page. This is the ultimate clan aim.
So whether individually, or as a clan, ranking highly is the most common goal for players of WoE. The forumla is complex but a bit of thought and you can work out what you need to do to rank highly (mainly improve recruiting (see Recruitment Guide), and also gain Troop Experience and Research).
If ranking high is not your thing - or if you've joined the round late-on, then here are some ideas for other goals:
Individuals
- try to get a title on the Greatest Battles page.
- pick a person/clan to support, and help them by fighting or spying on their opponents. Spying in particular is easy to do if you join late and/or have a small empire.
- find a good clan, show them what you can do, and try to join them in the next round.
- try to be in the biggest war, or have the greatest feud.
- suggest the best game improvements in the forum.
Clans
- try to get a clan title on the Greatest Battles page.
- pick a clan to support, and ally with them.
- try to have the biggest war.
And above all, if your aim doesn't include enjoying yourself, then you're probably in the wrong place!
In the help section the above is under the heading Aim of the Game, I will work on the new AOTG and I will post it here for you to comment on before I update the information, thanks in advance for your input.
