Funniest event in the game: - Having 4 members of CESS start attacking me around the clock AFTER i have hit my transfer limits. Sent out 150 mil gold and 40 mil stone building citadels, and they came to hit me 3 days into the empire clock after i was unable to transfer anything.

Most Tragical event in the game: - CONQ not having to fight for the win, because everyone else just got down on their knees for them.

Event worthy of telling in the pub/school canteen: - During the empire clock, Swansong had 2-3 revenges out. We noticed he had like 17 mercs left and achilles still had a revenge outstanding against him. We frantically started calling him to get him online, and meanwhile Bhaal, Quirky, and I started hammering Achilles when we saw his Stamina come up for the revenge. In the frenzy of all the attacks Achilles took his revenge on Swan (who had just managed to rebuy) and Quirky and I took 21 regs from Achilles (without a revenge, because he didn't pay attention to us hitting him). So final score was gang bang on Swan = 1 reg, protecting swan from achilles = 21 regs.

It really sucked that when people decided that they didn't want to play in ACE any longer no matter what their reasons, Kaldar held them hostage!! He refused to kick anyone. Not even when Ravan snapped and wasted two days worth of clan bank turns!! I was held hostatage for a week before I got kicked by Ger when he took over. That is really unacceptable behaviour and I really don't know why you insisted on keeping people who clearly didn't want to play with you in the clan, telling us if we wanted to leave we needed to sacrfice our 10% pop. It was a jerkface move. Hopefully you learned from the implosion and will not act that jerky ever again.

Empire: - ACE, then CESS, with a cameo appearance in CONQ and MUTT.

Favourite empire: -Evil Lizards (ELs). I suppose. But then I'm a Brit, so I always like to support the underdogs. If it hadn't been the "last age", I'd have supported them. But I so loved the poetic nature of CONQ winning in the final round, plus I liked their players, that I had to support them. Plus ELs won the very first age and for some reason I didn't want them also to win the very last one. *shrugs*

Least Fave empire: - Manhoods of Death (MOD). Just becuase I don't much like the crude theme.

Most honorable empire: - Oh, I don't know, they were all much of a muchness. ELs and CESS both did a bit of gloating against each other, ACNE and MOD both had crude descriptions/names, MUTT seemed a bit grouchy when I visited, so I guess I vote for CONQ for not being any of them.

Least honorable empire: - Oh, I don't know either. Probably ELs for being the only ones I noticed that were using their clan description to gloat - gloating being the exact same thing that they did in v1 which caused me and a number of other players to turn against them and attack them all age in v2 and v3. I still like their clan, but I still get the feeling they think a little higher of themselves than is deserved. Perhaps one day that will change ;-)

Funniest Player: - Deathangel. He's like my little brother... sits saying nothing while everyone else chats away trying to be funny, and then brings out one line which tops everything said in the conversation for the last hour.

Favourite Player: - Lothar, for his calm and organised way of organising CONQ when their leaders were off, coupled with his sensible comments on the forum and keeping me amused on a few occasions. I wouldn't have given my pants away to just anyone ;)

Least Fave player: - Flesh Enema, for messaging me asking to swap WoE gold for Runescape gold - nothing wrong with that except he then told me that he'd got much of the gold in Runescape by "botting" - ie breaking the rules of that game by writing, and selling to others, macros that would play the game for them. The biggest problem that game has is keeping on top of botters, and to find that there's a WoE player who thinks it's fine to ignore game rules and ruin games for others was quite surprising.

Most honorable player: - The Dagger; although he went wrong a bit this age by agreeing to ally CESS with ACE at the same time as competing with them for GO, which to my mind was a poor alliance to have kept, he did always do his very best to do the right thing, and I think mainly suceeded.

Least honorable player: - Nosiin Arayla. I lost count of the number of Truces that she broke. Almost every time Dagger set one up, Nos broke it straight afterwards. Maddenning ;-)

Favourite Ally: - CONQ for being friendly and mature.

Least Fave Ally: - MUTT for not seeing the funny side. I joined their clan because they'd not bothered to cancel a very out-of-date invitation. I was just going to join to say hello, but I came in just as one of them was saying he had 19mil gold and didn't know what to do with it. I couldn't resist telling someone and getting them to steal it, which I know is underhand and nasty, but that's what MUTT usually enjoy. I offered to (and did, in the end) stay and pay more than that back to them, but they still seemed to think that while it's hilarious when it happens to other people, it's not at all funny when it happens to them.

Backstabbing-untrustworthy bast*rd: - Sam Dritt has to take the award there. But I don't condemn him for it - it was a clever plan and nearly worked. A risk that was almost worth taking, because he was tied up by an alliance that didn't make sense, and he hadn't got many other ways to fight back.

Most trustworthy leader: - Leaders seemed to change around a bit, and I've already voted for Dagger, so I guess I'll give this to Worms who managed to take his bunch into ELs and (unlike ACE) managed to integrate them into the empire and also led them for a bit at the end.

But I'm going to give this to ElZud, who has stood by CONQ for so many ages, has given up some personal glory for the good of his clan a few times. This age he appeared to be going for his customary The Wise title, but ditched that plan when CONQ's goals became more important. And of course led the clan well and successfully.

Most Tragical event in the game: - Dan the Great having to leave before the end; ELs not winning anything despite their strong clan; the spats between players.

Favourite part of the game: - scouting Ajax one time and finding him with 18mil gold in the open - all of which The Dagger took - and then Rage coming online and finding out he'd missed out. I was scouting for both Rage and Dagger for a lot of the round, so there was a bit of competition between them for who got the best targets!

Thing you hate most from the game: - the time needed for GO, the need to be online at stupid hours or have people phoning you to come online and the impact this has on real life, the fact that GO is so empire-based, xp for ranking, and the fact that the best way to hurt someone is to knock down his walls, not kill his troops.

And thing I hated most in this particular age was Mengxiang (who at the time had a negative transfer limit of 77mil from all the gold we'd given) telling Rage (who at the time had a positive transfer limit of 23mil from all the gold he'd given away) that he wasn't helping enough with upgrades. I mean we'd given you 77mil gold so if you still had less spent on buildings than either Rage or Obelix who'd had no help at all, that was surely because you'd done so little upgrading of your own. And to top that with blaming lack of gold in the clan bank for his lost regulars when clearly it was due to his own mistake, and I got the impression that his actual thoughts were nowhere near as grateful as his frequent messages of how much he apprecated all we were doing etc. Maybe some of it was lost in translation, but it was hard work supporting someone who seemed to drain so much gold for so few updates, and then blame us when it went wrong.

Biggest Spat: Double winners, for:
- Rage and Bhaal, who were both excessively nasty to each other in messages in-game and in the forum. Rage for exaggerations and rude comments in chat and forum and attacks on Bhaal just to wind him up; Bhaal for taking it too much to heart and rude comments about Rage on the forum.
- Nos and Kaldar, who were both nasty to each other in ACE. Kaldar for annoying Nos and others in ACE with his leadership style, and then exploding somewhat instead of dealing with the criticism; Nos for turning it into a saga by fuelling the argument in clan-wide messages and mentioning it lots in the forum.

Most annoying phrase:: "Conq played sim city". Well if you thought they were doing too well on their own, why didn't you fight them? You don't know where the War button is, or something? If you let them get too big on their own then you have no-one to blame but your own clans for underestimating them, not paying attention, and not organising something sooner. They fought whoever came against them, and held out for a win. As is said so often in sport, you can only beat the people who come up against you. If you gave them an easy ride, that's your fault, not theirs.

I mean, I started of visiting IRON and the moved to ELs with the intention of just chatting for a couple of days then moving on. Almost 10 days later I was still there and IRON merged with them so I knew I couldn't leave

Favourite empire: - Us? :P MOD was completely annoying in frustrating our attempts to win, but every single interaction I had with them was nothing but positive, so I'll go with them.

Most honorable empire: - I paid no attention to politics, but it seemed like ACE did everything they said they'd do.

Funniest Player: - Sister Midnight, Jade, all of the boys. I laughed a lot reading back through our clan chats when I could log in at the end of the day.

Thing you hate most from the game: - Not being able to attack most people because of my off-line times. Towards the end, when my regs were pretty useless, I was revenged fairly badly twice, by one person. Just showed that it's tough to be an attacking offline player, when some of you guys are so good at revenging.

Favourite empire: - CESS. Not doing this as the usual suck up. In the many ages I've played, I believe CESS is one of the clans we've had the most fun in!
Least Fave empire: - MOD. Although I do like a lot many people there, and they have been generally nice, they have tormented me in-game with bombards, both during our term at ACE, and later while supporting Sam!
Most honorable empire: - CONQ. Were our 'allies' (we were actually truced to avoid revelation of online times!) the whole age, and even sent people to help in Meng and Sam's GO runs as they were CESS contenders, after we helped them to the clan win - class job guys!
Least honorable empire: - Although ACE did know about Sam's treachery, I don't think its right to blame a clan for a player's folly, so no nominations in this category.
Funniest Player: - A very close fought fight between deathie and psy, but I think deathie takes the honours. As psy pointed out, practically every statement he makes is witty and genuinely humour-inducing. As we said, its wasted deathie isn't doing stand up comedy as a full-time job!
Favourite Player: - Rage. You'll never have a dull moment around him simply because he's always vibrant!
Least Fave player: - A few MOD names like LanceOfLove, PorkSword, SeargentStiffy, etc come to mind - but I only detest the characters for being so tenacious and always being on my walls - I've nothing against the players themselves!
Most honorable player: - A lot of people did play as best as they could, so its tough to pick one name!
Least honorable player: - Sam, for the well-publicised Meng incident.

Most trustworthy leader: - SWF, or Sir Wiggy Flops. She always claimed she didn't have the final say in getting things done, but I always managed to trust what she said and did in the game! A close second would be a tie between Elzud and YB for CONQ and Dumbo and Scorpio for ACNE.

While it is always easier to get commendations from within your clan and support for your actions, getting it from adversaries almost always seems sweeter. It feels as though what you did was indeed the right course of action. While I had to deal with 3 pages long worth of PMs after the Sam-Meng incident, I have 2 such PMs which I will always treasure, as below.

note: i take full responsibility for the MOD Theme this time ... i was the one that proposed it ... and it was unanimous and it suited MOD's sense of humor ... i apologize if it was offensive to some - it was meant as humor ... personally i cracked up every morning when i saw that list of names in Empire Chat ... and the fact that this bunch of 'manhoods' (uh dicks) was being led by a woman was also very humorous ... but again this is exactly what makes me love MOD ...

Favourite empire: - CONQ ... these guys fought hard for the win IMHO ... there were several MOD folks in CONQ ... and MOD is friends with most of CONQ ... it was very hard for me personally so i had Beaver Pole push the WAR button ... CONQ knew that this is a WAR game first and that it would eventually get to that point ... the minute after WAR ... MOD threw everything they had at CONQ ... the ONLADS were hitting 2 and 3 of the CONQs at a time ... and we were all nervous about serious revenges BUT that didnt stop any of us from throwing every pot, plate and magazine at CONQ

You seriously need to take away Friend/enemy market. I only made about 600 Million off the market this Age, just because no-one was buying it cos I was in a clan that’s at war with the 3 largest clans. It needs to go back to a normal market, first come, first bought.

And my second gripe, is to get rid of mobilisation, it just sucks. It was better when we had the 3 tiers, and we could do a quick revenge to snag a couple of regs, it’s how I like to play(mainly cos I don’t have too much time to play)

And a third one….. BRING BACK SLAVES!!

Just as an aside… I reckon Hunter would have wiped the floor with you all for GO… if only he had more than 3 of us (HMFTW, DAMNATION and I)propping him up. We just didn’t have the funds to support a massive GO run, but we did what we could, and Hunter did a great job as far as it went.
