Chapter 81:
Forever by your side

TQ pulled the covers over LTQ's body to keep him warm. She stroked his face and told the maids they can leave. Alone at last, she gazed at his handsome features.

TQ: You're so handsome, even though you have bandages all over you! (she laughs) I never knew this day will come when once again we are together at last. I hope it can stay this way even after the whole situation ended but I guess it's never going to end. It's like a never ending story, there's no happily ever after where the prince rides off with his bride and they live happily ever after in a castle with many children running around. I could never have that, and maybe it's just fate no matter how much we tried to be together (she grasp his hand) we somehow are always apart. My mother told me to never stop loving and that's what I'm going to do, so no matter where we are, or what happens I'll always be by your side.

She bends down a kisses him on the lips and rest her head on his chest.

Chapter 82
Can Dreams Come True?

In the garden of the castle there were flowers laying everywhere. Chairs were all in straight lines. Everyone was dressed up for this occasion. On the right side sat the group. At the end of the aisle stood the LTQ all dressed up and smiling. While he was waiting for something he was talking to the group.

Then the audience all got silent. They all turned around while LTQ looked up smiling again. Walking down the aisle was LTQ's bride, Tu Quyen. She was walking slowly while smiling. As she got closer to the front the group all began to cry. Even Hung and DTV. Finally she reached the end and LTQ took her hand and the bows began.

Priest: "Do you, Prince Luong Tung Quang, take Tu Quyen as your wife......?"
LTQ: "I do."
Priest: "Do you, Tu Quyen, take Luong Tung Quang as your husband......?"
TQ: "I do."
Priest: "Any objections??"
No one said anything but they looked at the priest thinking he asked a stupid question.
Priest: "You may now put the ring on her finger."
LTQ did. TQ smiled at him.
Priest: "I now pronounce you husband and wife!!!! You may now kiss the bride!!!!"

LTQ and TQ smiled at each other. LTQ took off the veil and they kissed. The crowd began to cheering and screaming. Even though you could only hear mostly MT, BH, NL, & HGT. LTQ then took TQ's hand and walked her to his wagon and they rode off. But then the wagon stopped. TQ just woke up.

TQ whispering: "That same dream again. I wonder if it could come true."
She got up to get some water. Then she turned around and looked at LTQ.
TQ: "Could that one day come true. The day where we can finally get married and live happy together. Have kids even though I'm still to young. Can a dream like that come true?"
She wondered if LTQ thought the same. He proably did. So she then laid her head back on his chest and fell asleep and thought too. Could that dream really come true??

Chapter 83:
The last supper

Hung was standing outside guarding the room, It's been a while now since TQ took LTQ upstairs and he hasn't heard anything from the doctor about the king. He regretted what he had done, he didn't knew what he was doing all he knew was that his love was getting hurt and that person must pay. Now he wonders what might become of him, will he be sent to a lifetime in jail? or worse the death penalty? Or maybe the doctors can't save him and he won't be in trouble. Then he thought, why not just runaway? that way you can be with NL forever but then that would disgrace his family and for many generations of serving the King's family. Just he heard the door unlocked and out came the doctor and his partner, Hung rushed up to them.

Hung: Doctor is the king okay?
Doctor: Why yes, we've managed to stop the bleeding and healed up his wounds. He was lucky the sword didn't penetrate fully into the heart (he winked at Hung)
(Hung lowered his head in shame)
Hung: Did he mention my punishment?
Doctor: Oh he's not mad at what you did, in fact, he's gonna invite you to a dinner tonight!
Hung: Really?
Doctor: yup no hard feelings, think of it as a fresh start, a new begining
Hung: Oh I'm so happy to hear that, thank you for everything
Doctor: My pleasure and did I mention there will be a surprise

The doctor and his partner turned around and headed down the hallway, both with malicious smiles on their faces. Hung was so happy, it seems all the years of loyalty really did paid off. Things are might turn out good after all, he found the love of his life, the king's gone soft hearted and everyone seems to be happy.

That night all the warriors and the entire king's staff was there enjoying a feast. The tables were set up in a square design with the King facing everyone. There was tons of food and everyone drank merrily. Hung was sitting with the rest of the Generals eating and drinking along. He felt odd since he didn't really want to be there, he was worried about NL, is she okay? thoughts raced through his mind. Then Suddenly the king stood up and everyone went silent

King: Thank you all for being here tonight. Today marks a new day, where things will finally change around here. First off I would like to call up my trusty General Hung
Hung (looking up and getting off his seat to the middle of the room facing the King, he kneeled and bowed deeply)
KIng: Now get up Hung, you aren't working. (Hung gets up and stands straight) Now, I want to start off the dinner with a toast (the servant brings him a bottle of wine) This wine is very special to me, I had it brewed especially for me and I would like you to be the first one to try it ( the king opens the bottle)
Hung: Your majesty, this is an honor I can't take. I don't think I deserve this
King: Nonsense! (he pours the wine into a cup and hands it to Hung)
Hung (staring at the wine, feeling guilty)
King: Well come on now, drink it!
Hung: Your majesty-
King: Come on now, it's just wine, you think I poisoned it?
Hung: No sir
King: then drink it!

Hung poured the whole wine into his mouth and swallowed it. Then instantly he felt something odd in his stomach, like something's eating his stomach. Then he started to sweat, his heart felt like something jabbed through it. He fell on his knees and eventually collapsing to the ground, moaning in pain. He could see the footsteps of the king walking over to him. The king grabbed Hung's helmet up revealing Hung's face to him.

King: Shame, shame, after all those years in service wasted for nothing. I could have given everything but you turned against me and nearly killed me! and now you'll repay what you did!
(Hung grunting trying to speak)
King: Oh don't worry, I won't let you die that fast. That gives you enough time to run to your girlfriend. Such a pretty girl, too bad she'll die along with her friends.
Hung: NO! NO! NOOO!
King(laughs): Take him away, and throw him out on the road, that'll give him a head start. Today marks the new and improved me, I am more stronger than ever thanks to a special someone. Anyone dare to double cross me would join your friend Hung.

Chapter 84:
Stranger at the door

The rest of the gang rushed back to the cottage. MT was busy tending the wounds of HGT, TD was meditating hoping to find a solution, NL was sitting on the same spot she and Hung used to sit together she was amazed at what he did at the castle, BH paced back and forth as usual.

BH: I can't believe this! we are back here again!
TD: Well there's no where else to go
BH: Yeah but if we stay here, we are like sitting ducks!
MT: Well we can't go, we have to wait for TQ and LTQ
NL: and Hung too!
TD: Yeah if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have got out of there alive
NL(sounding very dreamily) : Yeah, my hero
BH: Whatever! we can't stay here! the rest would have to understand that!
MT: BH! (she moved a little and HGT moaned in pain)
BH: Look, I don't care how much the king hates LTQ, he will never kill his own son! so TQ is safe with him and Hung, he's been in the military his whole life, he can take care of himself!
NL: but what if I would never see him again?
BH: Trust me, if he loves you he will find you

Just then there was a loud pounding on the door. Everyone looked at the door.

BH: See! it's too late now! they found us! I knew it!
(everyone was scared)

Then they heard a weak voice

Hung: NL? are you there? please open the door!
NL: IT'S HUNG! WE MUST OPEN THE DOOR!
BH: Wait! it could be a trick!
NL: How? it's his voice!
TD: Okay then everyone, get ready to fight!

But before someone could go and answer it, the door burst open. Everyone jumped including HGT who landed in MT's arms. They could only see a shadow (by this time everyone huddled together in fear and curiosity)

TD: Could that be?

The shadow figure staggered forward, grunting he then eventually collapsing to the ground. Everyone stood there in shock, no one dare to move. NL recognize the armor on his body, it was Hung's, she was about to dive toward him but everyone stopped her.

Everyone: "Wait NL, you don't know if it's him or not"
NL: I know it's him!
TD: Or it could be a trap!
(Everyone nodded in agreement)
NL: I don't care! it's him and he's hurt!
(just then Hung raised his head)
MT: OH MY GOD IT IS HIM! (she drops HGT and he lands on hard on the floor)
Hung: NL...please help me! (he begins sliding toward them)
(Everyone backed away except NL but BH pulled her back)
Hung: please...uh...oh....(he lowered his head and remain lifeless)

NL couldn't take it anymore, she rushed to his side and rolled him over. He was pale and sweating again) Everyone surround him

TD: He's poisoned again
MT: OMG, how?
BH: I think the king did it!
NL: Why him?

TD bent down, she examined and judging from his symptoms she came to a conclusion that the king must have brewed all of the dangerous poisons together.

TD: Chances of him surviving this time is very thin
NL: NO! he can't die! we're supposed to be together forever! He's my future husband!
BH: You already though of it already?
NL: There's was no man who ever accepted who I am and actually appreciated me for me!
TD: We only got about 2 hours before he dies

NL crumpled to the floor in tears, BH tried to comfort her. Everyone was lost, they didn't know what to do. TD told everyone to start packing, they are going to hide in the secret cave. MT and HGT helped packed everyone's things, TD gather all the potions and ingredients, BH gathered all the weapons and helped NL wrap blankets around Hung's body. They put him on on a wagon and everyone headed to the secret cave.

Chapter 85: Everything's gone wrong

Everyone had went outside looking for ingredients to make Hung's cure while NL and TD stayed by Hung's side. TD dared not look into NL's eyes, which is now filled with tears. She dared not to speak to her about what might happen to Hung.
NL: What will happen to him?
TD sighed and said reluctantly: I can't say. Judging on the amount and types of poison the king had put into him, it's... but you must not give up hope. Since my powers had restore, I can heal him temporarily and keep him alive long enough for me to find the cuer.
NL did not respond. It'd only lengthen his pain-- She wanted to say.
TD: Loan, I need to tell you something also. Even if we manage to save his life, he's either going to be mentally or physcially paralyzed or in some cases, both. But the important thing now is his life.
Everything became a blur to NL's eyes. She didn't even bother to wipe off the tears, only more would come out. She couldn't think. She didn't know what to say. All she could picture in her head was the terrible outcome of this misery.

The sudden opening of the doors woke TQ and LTQ up. The king stepped in sight and TQ quickly stood up--it's not very nice for the king to see her in bed with his son like this, who knows what he thinks.
King: Good morning, son. How's your leg?
This is his father? Too astonished to speak, LTQ could only manage to reply "Good."
Normally, such a short reply would be considered disrespectful and the king would have beaten the heck out of him again. But the King could not afford to mess up the plan. He simply turned his head in TQ's direction and put his hand on her cheek. TQ moved her head slightly and felt uncomfortable.
"My son was right. You are such a pretty girl."
TQ moved her head slightly and felt uncomfortable.
Realizing what was going on, LTQ interrupted, "Father, what do you want?"
The king quickly withdrew his hand. "Just checking to see how my son is doing. I don't feel too good after breaking your leg."
LTQ: Where's Hung?
King: You know the man. The shame of his action had caused him to end his own life.
There were silence.
King: Anyway, can you walk?
LTQ: Father, my leg was broken 2 days ago.
King: Oh, I forgot. Well, I hope you will recover soon so that we will start planning the wedding.
LTQ said with excitement: What wedding?
King: Get better.
Then he left.
TQ: What does that means?
LTQ: I don't know but something's not right.


Chapter 86
Eviler Than Before

"Mother!!!!", Adam called out.
Witch: "What??"
Adam: "I've found more people to help us rule the kingdome."
Witch: "May I ask who would that be?"
Adam: "Here they are!"

Walking into the light was two women looking figures.
Witch: "What can they do?"
Adam: "Well this is another evil witch Ky Duyen and her daughter Ho Le Thu."
Witch: "Ooh I like the sound of this more power!!!

DTV finally woke up from his long faint attack. He looked over to where is mom was. He saw her talking to two people he had seen before.
DTV: "Uhhh... guys mayber they aren't the best idea--"
Adam: "What did you say bro??"
DTV: "Well that's what I think."
Angela: "DTV, they're perfect."
DTV: "YOur right I'm sorry but can I be excused for a bit?"
Adam: "Blah blah go do what ya want!!!"

While everyone was planning DTV was outside thinking. HE couldn't believe his brother found Tu Quyen's evil aunt and cousin. He said to say something but he couldn't. HE wanted to go tell the others. He even wanted to tell TQ and LTQ. But he didn't want to turn his back on Angela. DTV was lucky enough to bring his pillow with him. HE was so confused on what to do so he started hitting himself with the pillow.


Chapter 87: The plan

TQ was walking back and forth in the room and it irritated LTQ a lot. He couldn't think of any logical reason for the strange conversation between him and his dad. Why couldn't he just say whose wedding it was?
TQ: Could it be Angela and DTV?
LTQ: Then we have no business of planning it. Yes, DTV's our friend but the king barely know him and as for Angela, she's not even from this kingdom.
TQ: What about HGT and MT?
LTQ: Impossible. I don't think my father can learn to like HGT in a few days after all those years of hatre.
TQ: Then WHO??
LTQ was getting frustrated: I'm trying to think, honey! I'm worried about it too, you're not the only one who does!
TQ: Why are you yelling at me?
There was a long pause. "I'm sorry. It's just too strange. I wish our friends were here...hopefully they can tell us what's going on." LTQ finally said.
TQ: Can't you call up TD?
LTQ: I've already tried. She's blocking everyone from mind-contacting her. Something very important must be going on.
Their conversation was interupted as they heard footsteps approaching. There was a knock on the door and it relieved them both. The king never knocks.
"Hey it's me. DTV. Open the door!"
TQ was glad to hear him, she came running to open the door and he stepped in, panting.
TQ: What's going on?
DTV: Hold on. Let me catch me breath..been running a long way.
A few minutes passed before DTV continued. "The witch's back. She found HLT and KD to work with her...for her... either way, they're on her side."
LTQ: You left us. How can we know you're telling the truth?
DTV: Your funeral, man. Angela had me on short leash, do you have any idea how hard it is to sneak back here?
TQ: I trust him, Quang. So, what's going on?
DTV: The king had a supper a few days ago with Hung.
LTQ: REALLY?
DTV: He poisoned him. I doubt that he's still alive. You guys have to leave. The king is with the witch now. She gave him power and healed his wounds.
They were not at all startle at the news. It was likely that the king would do something like that. After all they've been through, nothing seems like a surprise anymore.
LTQ: What are they planning to do next? I mean, I'm his own son. He's not going to kill me.
DTV: He might not but there're others who want you dead. Trading his own son for another 100 years of life--seems pretty fair to your father.
LTQ: Doesn't he know I can summond IT and then the witch would have enough power to take over the throne?
DTV: He'll make TQ his wife and keep her on his side. If you dare hurt him, he'll hurt her. An eye for an eye. Would you take the chance?
TQ: Oh my God. They've got the whole plan figured out. DTV's right. We've got to leave.
DTV: So, what do you say, LTQ?


Chapter 88
Run Away!!!

LTQ: "I'd love to go but I can't walk."
DTV: "Don't worry I called a wagon to take us. Get your stuff and let's go."
TQ got her stuff and LTQ's stuff. They rode off into the wagon. The other side of the story is the group.

NL: "Are we there yet?!!! Hung may not live."
TD: "Almost."
Voice from distant: "Wait up!!!!!"
BH: "Did that bastard come back???"
HGT: "Which one?"
BH: "DTV."

Everyone turned around and saw a wagon. Out came DTV, LTQ, & TQ.
BH: "God what the HECK do you want!!!"
DTV: "I know what's going to happen."
TD: "Found it!!!"
MT: "C'mom let's get our stuff in."

They all got into the cave put their stuff down and sat around the fire.
BH: "You tell me what's up?"
DTV: "Well my mom and Adam are back. LTQ didn't do the murder. I think my mom and Adam did."
BH: "HA I KNEW IT!!!!"
HGT: "Hey me too.I thought the same!!! So what about Angela?"
DTV: "I had to sneak away quick. But anyway the King is on the witch's side."
TD: "That's terrible."
DTV: "That's why Hung is like this. Listen she found more people to work with her. MT, it's your mom and sister."
TQ heard that she felt more terror than before.
MT: "WHAT!!!! This can't be. They'll hurt TQ."
LTQ: "Hey nobody's going to hurt her with me around."
HGT: "Uhhh... you can't walk."
LTQ: "So? You guys are here. Not like I'm fighting alone."
DTV: "Anyway the King and the witch are going to rule the kingdom."
BH: "We know but you should dump Angela!!!"

DTV: "But... I'll try but listen he wants to marry Tu Quyen and then LTQ can't be anywhere near her!!!!"
Everyone gave DTV a gross look.
BH: "That's so disgusting. What a sick man!!! She's only 16 and that old hag is I don't know"
HGT: "Since when was my dad sick like that. I mean she's 16. At least LTQ could marry her but don't have kids just yet. Either way you should have killed him earlier."
LTQ: "Hey!!! I feel the same way too. My dad is getting nowhere near her. She's mine."
BH: " Alright Quang we got it. I know I should have killed him but we were caught."
HGT: "So can you prove it DTV? I mean you left us."
BH: "For that son of a gun!!!"
TD: "You know he's right. He is our only way to get info on the witch."
HGT: "Good point."

The group got silent as TD healed Hung.
NL: "So what's the plan?"
DTV: "Well we will have to work together to figure one out."
HGT: "This is a one time chance. It's either your in or out."
Everyone nodded. No one was going to back down on this plan. Whatever the plan was TQ, LTQ, MT, DTV, TD, HGT, BH, NL, & Hung weren't going to back down at all. This will be one fight that they can't bare to lose. Unfortunately umm... a year passed since they've been planning and nothing good has came up in mind.

BH: "GEEZES!!! IT'S BEEN A YEAR HAS PASSED ALREADY!!! ALL WE HAVE DONE IS EAT, CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS!!! STILL NO PLAN!!!"
HGT: "At least we got free cake."
BH: "Oh shut up!!!"

The group sighed. They were lucky the witch had not attacked yet but they still needed a plan. At this rate if they couldn't get anything good then another year may pass.

NOTE: TQ, MT, DTV are now 17, LTQ is now 19 and I don't know about everyone else

Chapter 89:
It's time

Everyone didn't know what to do, a year has pasted yet they have nothing to go against the king and his partner in crime. The kingdom returned back to it's dark days, and there's nothing the gang can do about it. Through TD's constant healing and also help from everyone especially NL at his side, Hung was able to walk and move his body around. Everyday he would practice his combat skills while NL would often sit and watch. MT and HGT are closer than ever, promising to never leave one's side so they would do most of the chores together. TD has perfected her powers, she was able to advance to the next level. DTV upset and frustrated that his love life never turn out the way he wanted to be would often feel lonely in the group even during dinner. BH, never needing a man in her life was bored of the fact that there's no more adventure anymore would happily volunteer herself to go seek for food where she would come back with deers, various little creatures, birds, etc for dinner and would be pleased at herself during dinner. TQ and LTQ would spend their days laying under a shade of the tree discussing the past, present and future. Even though TQ knew that the Kingdom is in trouble and they need to save it, she kinda enjoyed the simple life, for once she is with the man of her dreams, no need for a giant castle or servants waiting on them, she even had her friends with her, her man and her best buddies, what more can a girl ask for? but then she realized that she was being selfish to say that. TQ was feeling rather down, just then she heard footsteps from behind her and a hand touched her shoulder.

LTQ: What's wrong honey?
TQ: Uh, nothing. It's just I'm worried
LTQ: What is there to worry about?
TQ: Your kingdom, how we are just letting your father ruin it
LTQ: Look there's nothing we can do
TQ: There is! and-
LTQ: look I don't want you getting hurt
TQ: I'm a grown women! I can take care of myself!
(LTQ was kissing her neck and was trying to convince her to back away from the thought of coming back, he didn't want anything to happen to her and he knows she wouldn't turn him down)
LTQ: If we come back, the king will seize you and who knows what he'll do to you
TQ: I'll take my chances
(He was shocked at her answer, he stood there stunned as she walked over to the gang)
TQ: Hey guys!
Everyone: HEY!
TQ: I was just thinking, we should come back and fight the King and get our the kingdom back!
(Everyone was quiet, TQ thought they going to say the same thing LTQ said)
BH: OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SAY SOMETHING!
(everyone cheered TQ was happy that her friends agreed)
TQ: So you guys are in?
Everyone: Of course!
NL: Wait what's the plan?
(TQ only smiled)


Chapter 90
the plan i guess

LTQ felt bad that he couldn't do anything to help. He wasn't going to let TQ go. They had no plan so what can they do. He walked over to the gang and sat down quietly. Now no one expects Bao Han to think of a plan. Well she thought of this one.

BH: Finally I have a plan.
HGT (sarcastically): OMG!!! Finally!!!
BH: Shut up you little rat!!!
TD: What's the plan? I just realized that we weren't talking to your real God mother Mt. That was the witch.
LTQ: Son of a biatch!! Where's my real mom?
TD: Missing.
BH: Hey hey hey people!!! Back to plan. DTV will lead us to his mom's house. HGT, MT, Hung, NL & I will distract the witch and her people. While that goes on DTV will take TD, TQ, & LTQ through his house to find the plan and destroy it.
Hung: good plan but the King shouldn't really be seeing me!
HGT: Me too!!
NL: I'll stay with Hung here. HGT has his disguise anyway.
HGT: Oooh dangish! How do we distract them?!
BH: Disguise as poor village people who came with HGT to get help.
HGT: Ok! People let's get our stuff.

The group all said good bye to NL & Huung. DTV then lead the way. being followed by BH, HGT, & MT and then TD, LTQ, & Tq. TQ was feeling really bad now. Not only did she tell LTQ she'd take her chances, now after saying that she may die and never have her fairy tale ending with LTQ. She wasn't going to be able to fight alone esp. if she has to deal with her family again. She took a deep breath and walked up to LTQ.

LTQ: You look a little down.
TQ: I know but i feel horrible about what I said to you.
LTQ: About what?
TQ: I don't know what I was thinking. How can I fight the king by myself? I wouldn't even be able to take on my aunt and cousin. I can't fight by myself. I want you to fight along my side! But if we lose then I can't be with the man I love which is you!!! I don't want any of us to die yet!!

She began to cry. LTQ gave her a hug.
LTQ: It's okay. Everything will be okay. I'll fight along your side. I love you. I'm not going to let you go. in the end we will be together.
TQ: Are you sure?
LTQ: I'm positive trust me. Now if you need a shoulder to lean on then you can use mine.
TQ giggled as she laid her head on LTQ's shoulder. He gave her a kiss on her forehead and put his arm around her.

Finally DTV stopped. The group was all standing in that dark, icky forest.
DTV: Well this is it. My group will go in from the back. Good luck.
DTV, TD, LTQ, & TQ disappeared leaving BH, MT, & HGT. They all took a deep breath.
BH: "This is it."
She knocked on the door and waited for a reply.


Chapter 91: The Old Tutor

It didn't take too long for someone to open the door. It was a little boy. His face was unaturally pale and his eyes bare a reddish color. Everyone was quite stunned at his presence. The witch must have cast some sort of curse on him.
BH, MT & HGT expected the boy to ask who they are and why they're here but not even the slightest possible sound was made. The eerie silence creeped the gang out. They've never expected the place to be so haunted.
"Um..." BH cleared her throat. "We need help. We come from a far away kingdom..."
Again there was no reply.
"Hey, little boy! You hear me?" BH was running out of patience.
No reply. The group looked at each other in confusion.
"We carry goods and jewels along with us...as well as 'other' stuff... ahem, but those are not to speak of unless you want to buy it" MT said. The witch as well as the king was always thirsty for power. They would try their best to get down to the bottom of this and figure out what was the 'other' stuff.
At the mention of that, the boy turned around and walked into the house. Several minutes later, he came back with a man with his face covered in the shadow from the hood of his cloak. He seemed old and clumsy.
"Dear, I know who you are and why you're here. Take my advice: find your friends and leave. You guys are doing nothing but committing suicide."
Startled, MT asked "Who.."
Man: I'm the prince's old tutor. I know you probably won't believe me--and you have all the rights to. The witch knows for sure you guys will come back..that's why she and the king is no longer here. This place is filled with traps and mines. Unless they're the ones who set up the traps, which they're not, it is surely they would die. It is possible that your friends are already dead by now.
HGT: That's not true! The witch can't kill the prince until she gets him to summond IT for her!
Man: Oh, that monster is no longer needed. Her power is strong enough now that she have complete control over the king's mind. This kingdom is hers already. And if anyone dares to rebel, she'd be sure to have him dead. Please leave. Get the prince and tell him Ngan told him to leave. He'll know.
HGT: But...
Ngan: Be reasonable! The witch is far wiser than you kids. She lost her first battle simply because she had underestimate her enemies. What can TQ do? Give out a few punches and kicks. LTQ's even worse...I've known him all his life...it took him forever to learn a little basic self-defense lesson, let alone expect him to kill anyone. TD's the only one with power but it is nowhere near to surpassing the witch's.
HGT: BH and MT, stay here. I'll go get them... If I don't come back in 15 minutes.. kill him and run for your lives.
HGT left and BH drew her sword, pointing it at the old man's throat. "Don't move!" She said. The little boy made a hissing sound and showed his teeth as if to tell BH to back away.
Ngan: It's okay. Hush...
The boy gave him a questioning look and reluctantly obeyed. 15 minutes went by slowly... then suddenly, their friends appeared right before their eyes.
MT: God, you had me worried. Are you ok, honey?
She said running to hug HGT. LTQ took a few steps closer to the man who claimed he was Ngan.
LTQ: Ngan had disapppeared for 2 years now. How can I know if you're really him.
Ngan: You lost a fight against a girl when you were 10. Convinced?
LTQ's face turned red and thanks to the dark, he hoped no one saw it. "So it's you! What are you doing here?" LTQ forced a smile as he pulled Ngan away from BH's sword and whispered "Why did you have to say that?"
Ngan smiled and made no reply to the question. "We have to leave. I'll explain the story on our way."
DTV: Mission aborted?
LTQ: Yea. I trust him. This place doesn't seem like anyone's living in it anyway.
DTV: Can't we at least burn it down?? Please?
Ngan: Don't be stupid! There're mines in there. Burn it down and all those explosions will sure get you.
DTV: FINE!
He felt a bit awkward...he had been preparing and expecting for a big fight and now suddenly they have to go back...
BH: Does that..thing come with us?
She asked, poiting at the boy.
Ngan: He's with me.
BH made a face.
They got on the wagon and Ngan started his story. "I came here just this afternoon, only to find the..."
HGT: Wait, start from the beginning, as to how you know Quang.
Ngan: Alright. As I said, I was his tutor, teach him every possible things a future king needed to know since he was a little kid...
HGT: So it is true he lost a fight to a girl?
LTQ tried to protest but it was too late. Ngan had already nodded to the question. Everyone tried to hold their laugh but couldn't and he felt humiliated. Even TQ was laughing. What would she think of him now?
Ngan: "Anyway, I left a few years ago to settle some of my unfinished business... I'm a warrior and also a wizard. You have no idea how many men I had to kill in service of my king so revenge was something not avoidable. But that's another story. I left and finally came back this afternoon, with X here," He pointed at the boy. "..only to find the castle vacant and haunted. I knew this was doings of some witch. I could tell from the curses she put on this place... a powerful witch..."
HGT: But how did you know us?
Ngan: I was gifted...with the power to see things happened in the past--as long as it's not my past. So I simply went back and saw the whole story. Then you guys came.
DTV: What are we to do now then?
Ngan: First, you're going to have to heal Hung. We're going to need as much people as we can get. This is not a little war anymore. We're way out numbered. Who came up with this plan anyway? Haven't you forgot that you had gone for a year and during that time the witch's power can grow into something unimaginable? That she had spent time and seduce great men to her side? If this time we was to fight back, we have to come up with something big. I mean, LTQ here can't even fight...no offense, Quang. If you come in there not only do you have to fight against them but also protecting him So, you guys will have to form a little army of your own. Let them fight with the witch's men so that you guys can have the chance to fight her face-to-face.


Chapter 92-Finding the perfect team!

Back at the cave.
Bh:So now we just need to find a perfect team to kill this nasty bug!
NL: i tought we are killing the witch?
BH:bug is describing the witch b/c she is nasty and ugly like a bug!
NL:oh hehhee my bad!
MT:I need to practice on my powers and skills!its been so long since I've use them!

Chapter 93: Proposals

Everyday, Ngan and VQ trained the gang with their fighting skills as well as magic (for those who already have magic.) LTQ and VQ soon gave up his training. They were afraid that he'd hurt himself trying too hard. If Ngan failed to teach him then she might as well forget about it. LTQ then decided to join the search for more men instead. After all, he was their prince and that made the search easier--though somewhat risky for it leaves more trails behind. The number of people reside inside the cage was growing rapidly and a bigger cave was required. Ngan made another one instead. He said if the cave get too big, it'd draw much unneeded attention.
Everything went by quickly...except for that one afternoon. TQ was sitting in her room when LTQ stepped in. He hugged her and gave her a kiss.
"Aw. C'mon, make it quick. What'd ya want?" She said playfully.
"Will you marry me?"
"Wha..." She turned around and he was already kneelin on the floor, holding a diamond ring in his hand. She was too surprised to say anything.
"Honey, I've been thinking.." Truth is, it's 'we've been thinking' because all the guys had gathered to plan this and were going to propose on the same day. "...This war, there's no telling of who will live to see the day...." His thoughts was abrubtly interrupted by the look on TQ's face. Was this a bad idea? After all, they're still pretty young.. But realizing how far he had went, LTQ went on and said, "I don't wanna die single..."
He was ticked off at his words...where had all those beautifully written romantic words he and the guys had come up? What the heck was he saying? "I mean, I..."
"YES." TQ finally managed to say. She was about to cry because of happiness.

HGT sneaked into the room and was about to surprise MT by covering her eyes but as soon as he was about to do so, she gave him a punch. He yelled in pain as MT realized she had just punched her honey in the face.
"I'm so sorry... I didn't know it was you... I thought someone was attacking.."
"It's okay..." HGT pretended to act as if he was in tremendous pain.
"No it's not!" MT moved closer to take a look at his face but he quickly locked her in his arms and kissed her. As soon as he finished, MT pulled away and gave him another punch in the chest. "How evil you are! You had me feeling all guilty and worried"
HGT smiled sheepishly, he took the ring from his pocket and knelt down. "Will this make that up?"
MT: You mean...
HGT: Will you marry..
HGT had no chance of finishing the setence. MT had already jumped into his arms, saying "YES, yes, yes... Oh, I thought you're so slow it'd take you forever to say this."

Loan helped walk Hung to his room when he suddenly stopped.
"Loan, do you love me?"
NL: That's some stupid question! Of course I do!
Hung: Well, you know, with me still being half paralyzed and all...
NL: Like it matters. I love you no matter what.
Hung: I can't imagine what it'll be like if I die in this war...or even worse, if you do..
NL: Why are you talking like this? Trying to scare me or something?
Hung: No. I'm very serious.
NL: Your point?
Hung: I'm very old for you too. I don't feel like I'd deserve you. The poisons are still somewhere inside of me. What if I die tomorrow?
NL: I told you, it doesn't matter...are you okay?
Hung: No. There's something very heavy in my pocket...will you get it out for me? Please?
Nl reached into his pocker and drew out a diamond ring.
Hung: Yes, dear. Will you marry me?
NL: Gosh. Couldn't you say this already? Took you forever to get to the point...
Hung: Well, I was afraid..
NL: This would've worked better than talking...
She ignored him and gave him a kiss.


Chapter 94
No more lonely but another one

BH to DTV: FINALLY!!!! LTQ AND TQ ENGAGED!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT!!! NOW HGT AND MT ARE ENGAGED!!!! NOW I DON'T TO DEAL WITH THAT BONE HEAD!!!! ALSO HUNG AND NL ARE ENGAGED!!! I'M A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT THAT ONE!!!
DTV: Yipeee for you!!!
BH: Didn't I tell you to get over the son of a biatch!!!!
DTV: Yes but I just can't----
VQ: DTV you seem like a very nice guy. Do you want to walk around and hang out???
DTV's expression lightened up: YES!!!!
He and VQ took each other's hand and walked off.

BH (to herself): Damn it!!!! I'm single still. Look at TD she's okay with and I'm not!!! 1st the Prince and TQ, then hedgehog (HGT) and MT, my best friend and Hung, now knowing DTV and VQ will be a couple!!! UGH I can't take it anymore I need love.!!!!
TD: You know I hear you.
BH: Oops what do you want!
TD: I found another warrior from the mystice kingdom.
BH: WHO!!!
TD: Ummm... his name is Bang Kieu
BH: OH that guy so
TD: He wants to go on a date with you do you want to or not
BH: BYE!!!!

At least BH lighten up. She ran over to BK. TD smiled finally BH is quiet. All TD can do now is help the others plan their weddings.

As she looked at LTQ and TQ talking about wedding plans, she felt happy for her god daughter. HGT & MT being themselves and then Hung & Nl having fun. She felt a little sad. Deep down TD did have a problem about not being in love.
