Title: Natalie Jane catch report
sharpie - May 21, 2012 06:57 AM (GMT)
We were out again on Saturday for a long trip this time over low water.
We launched at 9am and came back in around 4-30pm.
We fished up close to a bank and had 36 rays to around 8 1/2 lb, a few eels and a few doggies, 2 bass at 4lb 4oz and 5lb 8oz and a cod just over 4lb.
Was a bit lumpy out there for a while but the fishing was good.

Crikey! Thats a lot of Rays, your arms must have been hanging off! Nice Bass though, was the best fishing on the ebb or flood?

Hi Craig,
most of the rays and one bass on the ebb,we then repositioned
on the opposite side of the bank for the flood and,
had the bigger bass and the cod then.
Slack water was very slow indeed.
Thats the most rays we've had between the two of us B)

Please tell me that there were at least 50 anglers crammed onto that boat.
Otherwise, that's an obscene amount of fish. Well done to all concerned.

21 rays for my brother and 15 for me :)
