Fished the pier this evening, 3up 2down. Bait was dirty squid & rag.

Les, Bob, Bluto & Mike also fishing.

I had a bite soon after starting on squid and that was it.
It was asimilar story for everyone else only managing a couple of crabs between us on a variety of baits.

We saw someone fishing first point, 3 fishing the bandstand and someone on the pumphouse. - Any reports anybody?

I left at 9.00, so no doubt the cod came on the feed then. :lol: :lol:

Spot on Stan. Had two codling in quick succession, one to each rod, 2lb 11oz and 4lb 1oz. I told you all you were leaving too soon. :lol:

Well done Bluto, seems a few fish are moving back in, hopefully start of the run!

I was fishing the bank stand with a mate, used squid, peeler, lug and rag. Nothing. One of you lads had a mean headlight on the pier was like a lighthouse! Hahahahahahahah.

I think its the rules on piers that the one on the end has to have a really bright headlamp to stop the boats crashing :P

I have to be careful no to point it at the pier or it burns holes through it! I can see what happening, but no one else can.
