This question startled Luro. He had never thought about that before, never wondered if they really existed. That had all been burned into his mind, marked onto him, from the time he was a pup.
"Blade... do you know why I want to lead Nasatho's pack?" he said quietly. "I want to lead this pack because Nasatho is the guardian of the dead. My mother died after she, my littermates, and I were kicked out of our pack. Then I watched a loner kill my brother and one sister. The other, Darak, died soon after. He... he speaks to me, there's no other way to describe it. It's as if he crawls into my mind to have a conversation. I heard him, just now, when I said his name. He said...." He didn't want to finish that sentence, because if he did, he knew it would mean there was no turning back.

Luro had led his daughter to the packlands, had shown her the fallen enemy, talked - and now, what? Now he wasn't sure what to say or what to do. So he stood there, at least for a while, just looking at Blade, studying the features of her face and pelt, wondering how he had suddenly changed so much and not noticed. He was a father now, he had one more recruit for his pack, he had someone to talk to. And right now, that was enough.

Therra stood, hidden in the trees, observing Luro and the she-wolf who was his daughter. Blood dripped from her muzzle slowly. The scent of rabbit was there, but faint, and it mingled easily with the other rabbit scents. Luckily, the wind was in her favor. The was a shrill breeze, even though the fresh meat warmed her. The forest was damp with rain, too.
A sudden soft whisper came to her.
You must forget the urge to be pack leader.
Therra looked behind her where all was empty. Several thoughts went through her head. Suka, Karnas, ......Nasatho..?
I am none of those you think of. For I am the creator.
"K..k.indu.." The soft whisper was so faint it sounded as though an echo carried off by the breeze.
Yes, I am he of which you speak of. For I have chosen you to be my portal into the living world. Your destiny is greater than that of a pack leader. Open you soul to me, so that I might show you how wonderful life can be...
Therra started shivering, and her eyes rolled back into her head. Before she blacked out, she heard a comforting voice. Don't be afraid...
~Therra, possessed...~
Therra circled Luro and the she-wolf quickly, hidden by the cover of bushes and trees, making her scent come from all sides. She growled faintly as she went, to confuse them of where her location was. Then, she snarled as she left the cover of bushes and padded towards where they stood by Arinu's body. Then she stopped, and seemed perfectly calm, except the repulsive site of her eyes, which now you could only see the white of, the rest was covered by something that can be related to a grey cloud. A sudden beam of sunlight fell on her from the clouds that covered the sky, and she seemed godlike where she stood, defiant. Yet, this was not, in fact, Therra, for she was sleeping in a dark corner of her mind. No, this was the creator himself, Kindu, who had chosen her for his use. Now he stood looking upon the living world. It was so different seeing it in a pure souls eyes, than from the heavens. He then turned towards Luro and Blade, using Therra's body as his own.
"You're a father now, I see." It was still Therra's voice, but it had darkened tremendously. Kindu didn't move, just stood there erect, his(Therra's) face hard as stone.

~Therra, possessed~
Kindu looked over at Blade. She had grown, since the last time he had seen her from the heavens, but she was still slightly young. He could tell by her curiosity.
"You should tame your curious hunger, young one. As for you question. All questions deserve answers, so I guess I must give you one. I am your god. I am the creator. I am Kindu." Kindu smirked inside at the dramatic pauses he had put in. These living creatures were some work.
"Does my answer satisfy your hunger, Blade?" His voice was very deep, but had the distinguishing features of Therra's voice still.
Kindu turned towards Luro now. "Therra wishes to say something for you, even though she doesn't know it yet. What I will say is this, that she wishes that by the time I, she, lives you, you will will not part as enemies. Do you accept her offer?"
Kindu's/Therra's eyes stared deep into Luro's own. Kindu's expression turned sad. So the prophecy had been true. Even if he knew it himself, he had hoped for so long, that it was not to happen. Very well, it was destiny was all it was. And he could do nothing to change it.
OOC: did I go over the top with the looking into his eyes?

Luro's eyes were entranced by Therra's - Kindu's? - and he could not pull away. Slowly, almost absently, he agreed: "Yes, I will never leave Blade while my body houses me." He felt like he was in a dream. The wolf's voice dropped to less than a whisper, so that Blade would not hear.
"Are you really... it's impossible... Kindu?" Luro bowed his head respectfully. "The greatest of the Four. It's true, isn't it?" A thought struck him. "So... so you wish me to be the leader of this pack? Using the she-wolf's body, Therra's...." The Alpha's mind was racing now, this explained so much....
A sinking feeling settled in his stomach and his voice dropped lower still. "But what of Nasatho? Hasn't he rebelled enough, or...." His voice trailed away and Luro swayed almost drunkenly for a few moments before shaking the sensation away. A soft, low, throaty growl rose from his throat for a few instants and the fur along his back spiked, though Luro's tail wagged slowly. Nasatho took a step forward with Luro's paws, flexing the legs and shaking himself as the fur along the wolf's spine settled slightly.
"Kindu," he growled. The voice was dripping with a venomous quality. "This is my packland, what purpose do you serve here?" The Guardian's tone was full of malice and suspicion though he lowered his head respectfully and remained wagging Luro's tail. He laughed half-enthusiastically. "And why do you come as a she-wolf?" He grinned heartily, though the expression was unlike the Alpha's; it was a skull's grin, white teeth glistening with blood that had somehow appeared on them.

Kindu wasn't surprised to see the familier face of Nasatho, guardian of the dead, in Luro's body. Even though Luro seemed a kind soul at heart, Kindu had had his suspicions, and now they were turned into facts.
Kindu didn't flinch at his questions, just prepared himself to answer them correctly enough to ease Nasatho's venomous hunger.
"Her gender doesn't matter to me. It's her soul that makes the difference. For her's is pure and fit for my being to possess. I might as well ask you the same thing. Why have you chosen Luro? One that seems mostly kind at heart. You've seen him with his daughter, surely you must have known. Maybe it's his competative instincts that you feed upon. Therra knows too well how much he wants to become pack leader."
Kindu turned to Blade.
"You need not be disbelieving. For I and my companion here, are very real. And I can not change what he has done, or what I have done. Destiny brought us here, and there is a greater importance to your father and Therra than they would have guessed themselves. Destiny has a greater power than any of us. That's how we wanted it. No world can always be in perfect harmony, but there's always a reason for actions and things to turn out the way they do. You just have to think about it, for then you will understand more by each day."
Kindu's eyes were gentle and he looked fondly upon Blade, before turning back to Nasatho again. Then, his expression hardened again.
"I have purpose here and everywhere. But, yes they are your packlands and I respect that, yet I need to be here a while longer before I decide how I will carry on. You understand, don't you Nasatho?"
The last question was in a threatening tone, but not too challenging. Kindu did not want to affect the tension between him and Nasatho any longer.

She was completely lost with all this.. Gods? Here? Within these wolves? Even Luro was possessed. She watched closely, taking note of everything. When Luro or whatever it was, gave that dripping jawed grin, Blade did not flinch, nor did she shudder. She knew Luro was in there somewhere and this was not her Father at present. This was something else. Auds flattened in discomfort by the presense of this strange soul inside Luro. He did not seem friendly yet she wanted to know more about him.
Frankly she did not care what destiny had brought her Father into this, all she knew is that she did not want him hurt or injured in anyway. She liked this Kindu that she.. well actually he called himself. He looked kindly upon her with the same eyes that Luro looked upon her with.
Still. One thing puzzled her, if these wolves were all so high and mighty, why did they have to sink to the level of stealing another's body without their will or permission? Could they not just have their own bodies? Or come in some other form? Like an element or something? Hell, she had no idea how this worked but thtis did not have to be the only way, surely!
Releasing a tender growl, she stared coldly into the eyes of Luro but into the soul of Nasatho. She knew he could see her and feel her..
