Terms of Joining
By agreeing to join USYD Kendo Forum, you are hereby accepting full responsibility of your actions and that we, the Admins of USYD Kendo Forum, are not responsible for any material that are posted on these Forums.

To Prevent explicit material being posted, these rules are being implemented into the forum.

Failure to abide by these following rules will result in punishment depending on the severity of it & removing any material that may inflict these rules.


These rules include:

1. Only members of USYD Kendo Club are able to join this forum. If you are interested in the club, visit our website, contact one of the executives & visit one of our training sessions indicated on the website.

2. Flaming of other members will NOT be tolerated. Successive warnings of flaming of other members will result in suspension of your account.

4. While there is a fine line between a debate and arguing against each other, attacking of other people's opinions shall not be accepted. You should be mature enough to accept other perspectives & state whether or not you agree/disagree with their opinion, and why.

5. Proper English & grammar is enforced on this forum. '1337' Speech (or any other type of slang communication) is not to be tolerated as well on this forum. If English isn't your first language, then a genuine attempt will be appreciated.

6. Sig sizes: Signature sizes should not be more than the size of 400x300px's. This is to prevent slow loading for people on slow internet, or breaking the forum tables.

7. No spamming. I think that this speaks for itself. (however, double posting IS allowed when there is a valid reason to double post)

7a. As an extension of the above rule, less than 5 words in a post is only allowed IF .. and only IF it delivers a message that relates to the topic. You CANNOT write a post with just 1 word that serves no purpose. Eg : "lol"

8. No Pornographic material is allowed to be distributed on this forum. Suspension of your account for a certain duration will follow if you are found in breach of this rule.

9. Distribution of Illegit material. Eg: Illegal Programs, etc etc. If you wish to do so, contact them via MSN, Yahoo, Email, etc. If illegal material is distributed on this forum, we may be forced to close and be fined.

10. Overruse of Profanity is not allowed. We all should be mature enough to not use profanity in every post we make.

11. Being human, we cannot monitor the forum 24/7. However, if you see a rule being broken; be sure to report it using the report button. No backseat modding will be accepted.

12. New rules will be added every-now and then. And when they are, we shall post in the Announcement area that the Rules have been added. This will ensure that you will be up-to-date with the rules.


Violation of these rules may result in the following punshiments:
- Increased Warning Level.
- Suspension of your account.
- Mod Review of all of your posts.
- And many more.
