1.1 Through fire and flames

After meeting with the CO there was only one thing to do and that was get to work she went over to the bridge area and started to look at some of the computer consules and realized that everything basically was out of whack she took a moment before starting to work on the ops station she wanted to see how bad things where.

It did not take her long to get the station up but when she did she regretted it instantly. There was power outages all over the board and several systems where down and most systems where barely operational and it was Nikki's job to get them back online and as quickly as possible.

Nikki left the bridge area and went to deck two and started to work on some systems that where still offline and she knew tonight was going to be a long night indeed.

Nathan watched as people started to move around his bridge. For one thing they had to do was to work on getting primary systems up, and running. Life support was not even on. "Excuse me sir, But our Exuctive officer has left for his old ship. He has resigned on the USS Whitestar." The Yeoman said. Nathan didn't look supprised. "Ok thank you." Nathan said watching the man walk off the bridge.

Nathan now was all alone for command. No one else was with him. It was a scary time. Nathan Started working with helm, and replacing new glass and such.

Nikki felt as if she was walking around all alone in the dark but she was not sure on what to do. She krept around a few jefferies tubes and she was potentially placing herself in danger with all the loose wiring around the ship.

Nikki looked around and called out to herself " who in there right mind thought this was a good idea " blirted out Nikki as she saw the half attempted by pass job on several of the wiring and crystals that lead from the computer core to life support, she was annoyed and new this was going to take some time to repair.

" Man " yelled out Nikki as she took a deep breath and turned away, but only for a moment then she turned around and said in a sad voice " this is going to be a nightmare to replace " said Nikki as she was not looking forward to the work at hand. She was really not in a good mood.

But she needed to start the work and she knew it was going to be painfully boring and very tidious. But it needed to be done and it was her job as the operations officer of the USS White Star.

Nikki wondered if she was over her head when she took the role of Chief Operations Officer on the White Star. Buty this was not really the place to be dwelling on ship assignments. The ship needed to be repaired and Nikki was the best suited to repair it.
