I was wondering... if the reason that Bella couldn't keep away from Jacob was because of the unborn renesmee inside her, why didn't edward feel the same way? I know he didn't like Jacob and all, but that knida pull is pretty hard to resist, right? I'm confused...

It was the imprinting pull that Jacob felt for Renesmee through Bella. Why would Edward feel that?

because Renesmee is made of Bella and Edward, so in theory he should have felt it through Edward as well,

Ohh, you mean why didn't Jacob feel a pull towards Edward too?

Well I guess since, as soon Renesmee was born Jacob no longer felt that way towards Bella, then it wasn't about actually feeling anything towards Bella at all, so it would be the same for Edward. It's only because it happens to go through Bella, the middleman if you will, that she felt anything. You know, things the baby crave... pickles, coal, Jacob tongue.gif
