These are the rules of discussion for Twilight UK:
Twilight UK is for people to express their opinion on the Twilight Saga and its characters and to have civilised conversation about said topics. We want to build a friendly, healthily obsessed community of UK Twilight Fans.

Things that will NOT be tolerated:

Do NOT post abusive/hateful/insulting/demeaning comments about any member or actor/actress. The forums will be moderated carefully for this kind of behaviour. If you are caught being abusive to any member, you will automatically be banned from Twilight UK.

Hate comments will NOT be tolerated, e.g. "I hate this book!" or "I hate this character!" as it is unpleasant for other members and is unnecessary.
If you do have a negative opinion to express, please do so calmly and in a civilised manner, explaining why you feel so.

This also applies to debates. Arguments will also NOT be tolerated. However, a person's right for free speech will not be taken away, therefore, if you do not agree with someone, please express why in a civilised manner.


Things that you should refrain from doing and that I am asking you to do nicely:

Please refrain from using slang or abbreviations in posts as it makes them harder to read for everyone. Common abbreviations such as: lol, etc, atm, btw, ftw are acceptable, but please try not to use them excessively.

Do not under any circumstance, unless otherwise stated, post spoilers about a book/character which is not widely known to the public, e.g. posting the plot of an unpublished novel. It is unfair on other members who have not read the information or who do not want to know the information.
If any topic contains spoilers, there WILL be a warning such as: SPOILER ALERT!!!

And lastly, NEVER give out any personal details in the forum and/or in personal messages; you do not necessarily know who the person is.

Any member who consistently breaks any of the above five rules, (I have excluded the personal details as it is safety advice; I cannot stop you if you choose to do so), will be warned. If any member receives consistent warnings, they will be banned from Twilight UK.
