Well I guess by now you’ve all heard about the US release of the new TP box set, but have you heard that they’ve LEFT OFF THE COMMENTARIES?!?! There is only one and that is on “The Slaves of Jedikiah.” I am sooo angry about that!

Yes I love the TP and to have the show on DVD is MUCH better than having it on VHS but the only reason I put in my pre-order was because of the commentaries. Those people at A&E must be crazy to think that Americans can’t handle the comments of Nick & PVC! And anyway it will be adults buying the DVDs in the first place not kids. We’re the ones who remember the show; kids today would probably not even like it when they’ve got shows like Star Wars and many others to compare it too.

I’ve asked Jackie if she has an e-mail address where I can write & complain so if she has one I’ll post it here if yall want me too. I just think that A&E need to know what we think of them cheating us out of such a wonderful part of the UK DVDs.

Okay thank you for listening to me rant. smile.gif

Hey I'm a kid (only 14) and I like the commentaries, I got into it when my Dad (Ultra Hamster) got me some for my birthday last year.

Does your Dad remember the show from back in the '80s?

Except I didn't come across it untill the beginning of the second series.
Sorry Kat, the DVD commentaries are wonderful. I really enjoyed listening to them.
We've also seen it done on stage at Fanderson conventions, couple of guests talking over a screening. Unscripted of course and unedited!! Totally unpredictable.

Now that would be fun to listen to. Who was doing the commentary at that time?

I just got the 2nd set of the Tomorrow People the other day, and working on getting the other two sets soon. Been fun watching this!
