Scene 2: Inside the large ship.
There is one manta the controls of the ship and one android, the ship is lurching and parts of the ship are letting off small explosions causing fires. The android is trying to put these out, the man is communicating with another ship.

Man: Survival Ship is sustaining heavy damage, personnel matter transmitter system has been knocked out and some of the ship has been cut off.

Voice over radio: Is the ships EMT still operation?

Man: Hold on. TURNS TO A CRICULAR SCREEN IN ONE WALL MADE UP OF SQUARES IN DIFFERENT SHADES OF PURPLE, SHADES ARE CONSTANTLY CHANGING. A, is the EMT still functioning?

A: EMT still functioning, I recommend immediate use to avoid loss of the ship.

Man: Did you get that Leader Vin?

Leader Vin: Confirmed

Second voice over radio: Survival ship, fighter 61B is heavily damaged; I’ll need to transmit over.

Man: Negative 61B, matter transmitter is out.

Scene 4: (CGI) space
We see fighter 61B destroyed

Scene 5: Survival Ship

A: Fighter 61B destroyed, I’m sorry Captain Topic

Captain Topic: Thanks A, can you send a message to all fighters saying that the Survival Ship’s matter transmitter is out of action.

A: Confirmed.

Leader Vin: Captain, we need the survival ship to survive. Activate the EMT.

Scene 6: (CGI) space
We see the survival ship hit by another blast from an enemy fighter.

A: Activating EMT systems.

Scene 8: (CGI) space
We see a bright light begin to appear around the survival ship, there is a blinding flash, when this clears the survival ship has gone.

Scene 9: Courtroom
The scene starts with a close up of a screen that is showing footage from a man’s eye view. There are two men advancing towards him, both carrying guns.

Man (out of shot): Listen, who are you? What do you want?

Neither of the men answer, instead they raise their guns and pull the triggers, there is a blinding flash and the screen goes blank. Camera pulls out to reveal the courtroom scene; the two gunmen are standing trial.

Prosecutor: This footage was taking directly from the victims memory, and so is conclusive proof that David Himver and Adam Garz both murdered John Undin, we also have footage taken from the memories of the accused proving this.

Screen comes back on to show back-to-back two pieces of footage showing the same events from a different POV.

Adam Garz: Look this is ridiculous, we didn’t murder him, and we’ve never even met him.

Judge (turning to the jury): What is your verdict? Guilty?

Most of the jury raise their hands.

Judge: Not guilty?

Three members of the jury raise their hands.
Judge: Adam Garz and David Himmer, you are both sentenced to 5 years imprisonment on the prison station 9 Alpha, after which you will be transferred to the inhospitable planet of Rango.

Two guards lead Adam and David out of the room, the jury, judge and everyone else in the room leave except the prosecutor. There is a buzzing noise and the prosecutor presses something in his ear.

Prosecutor: Yes…Yes the modified memories worked perfectly…May I reckon mend we use it on future assignments…

Scene 10: Prison cell
Adam is sitting on a bench lining the back wall while David is pacing about the room.

David: Adam, how on earth did they manage it? Were those even from our memories, I know they took some memory samples but I certainly don’t remember that.

Adam: Yeah but they consider memories as solid proof, once they have that as evidence they won’t except anything to the contrary.

David: I know that, but what if they can be forged, like a lie detector test.

Adam: Maybe that’s why they abolished the lie detector two hundred years ago.

David: Well, we’ve been sentenced, so we’ve got two months here before we’re up off this planet.

Scene 11: (Model or CGI) Prisoner transport launch site (2 weeks later).
(Two months later) A large circular platform is visible, the platform opens as the ship is raised up to the level, a gangway extends from a near by building and connects with the ship.

Scene 12: Gangway
Adam, David and a dozen other prisoners are walking along the gangway with an escort of 15 guards.

Scene 13: (Model or CGI) Prisoner transport launch site.
The gangway retracts and the ship takes off.

Scene 14: Interior of prisoner transport ship
The Prisoners are being put cells on either side of a corridor in groups of two; Adam and David are put in the same cell.

Scene 15: Adam and David’s cell

Voice over intercom: This is your captain speaking; this journey will take at least three months. You will spend the majority of that time in your cells, you will only leave them during meal times and to carry out certain duties aboard the ship, that is all.
David: Oh great, 3 months in a boring room with only you for company!

Adam: This is not the time or the place for sarcasm.

Scene 16: Space (CGI)
The Survival ship is drifting

Scene 17: Survival Ship interior, control room
Captain Topic is trying to contact another ship on the radio.

Captain Topic: Hello, come in please, this is the Pelsetin survival ship, come in please.

A: The radio is operating perfectly; there probably aren’t any ships within range on the same frequency.

Captain Topic: Right, how are the repairs to the ship going?

A: The SRS is functioning at full capacity and repair robots are repairing damage to the main hull. The ships matter transmitter system is fully functional but the EMT coordinator isn’t just yet.

Captain Topic: And where’s 27?

A: 27 is currently his routine checks over the rest of the ship, so far he has only made one report of un-repaired damage.

Captain Topic: Well, androids always follow their duties.

A: Captain, my sensors are picking up an approaching ship.

Captain Topic: Put it on the screen.

A large screen on the end wall of the control room, it shows the prisoner transport ship.

A: I’ll perform a scan over it.

Captain Topic (using ships radio): Hello, come in please…

Scene 17: Transport ship control room.
Captain Topic’s voice comes from the radio; it is distorted and hard to make out.

Captain Topic: this is the Pelsetin survival ship, come in please.

Transport ship captain: What’s that?

Crew member: A message from another ship sir, I think it might be coming in on a slightly different frequency to ours.

Captain Topic repeats the message, it is still distorted. The crew member adjusts a control on the radio until the message becomes clear as the message is repeated again.

Transport ship captain: This is Earth Prisoner Transport ship X91, receiving you clearly.

Scene 18: Survival ship control room.

A: Captain, I’ve performed a mind scan and that ship is full of convicted criminals.

Captain Topic: Well I’d have guessed that since it’s a prisoner transport ship.

A: And two of them are not guilty of the crime they were arrested for.

Captain Topic: What, I must inform of this at once. (Into radio) My computer has just informed me that it has performed a mind scan of the whole ship and it has discovered that two of your prisoners are not guilty.

Transport ship captain (over radio): Oh yeah, like I can believe that, who are you then? The rescue ship?

Captain Topic: No this is serious; my computer is never wrong when it performs a mind scan, hello, come in please.

A: They’ve switched off.

Captain Topic: Then we’ll have to deal with this ourselves. (Activates Radio) 27.

Scene 19: David and Adam’s cell.
The android 27 slowly fades in and out of sight in the cell until finally there is a blinding flash which when completely gone reveals 27 to have fully materialised.

Adam: Where on earth did that thing come from?

27: I have come to take you off this ship.

David (with sarcasm): Oh excellent, a rescue robot!

Adam: Who exactly are you?

27: Android type 82, mark 3, 27th produced, I am known as 27.

27 hands Adam and David a belt each, each belt has a disc with a button in the centre.

27: You are to put these on.

Adam: All right if you insist.

Adam puts on his belt, as does David.

Adam: What do we do now?

27 presses the button on Adam’s belt and he vanishes with the same effect of when 27 appeared.

David: What the! How did...

27 presses the button on David’s belt before he can finish the sentence.

Scene 28: Survival ship mater transporters room
David materialises in a cylinder with the same effect as leaving. Adam is also inside a similar cylinder.

David: …that happen.

Adam: I dunno, this was obviously not a good place to end up.

27 materialises in another cylinder.

Adam: Obviously a robot feature doesn’t know where he’s going either.

The cylinders rise up into the ceiling.

Adam (nervously): I think I’d better take back the insult!

27: You will follow me.

David: Better do as he says Adam, or ‘robot features’ might just take a disliking to you.

Adam (with sarcasm): Ha, Ha.

27 leaves the room and Adam and David follow.

Scene 29: Prisoner Transport ship control room.
Voice over radio: I agree with you captain, it may be an attempt to rescue some of the prisoners. Attack it, board it and arrest anybody there.

Captain: Yes sir. (turns off radio). Open fire.

Crew member: Aye, aye sir.

Scene 30: Space (CGI)
A energy beam weapon if fired from the front of the transport ship. It strikes the Survival Ship and there is an explosion from it (this scene is silent).
Scene 31: Corridor aboard the Survival Ship

The ship shakes and Adam, David and 27 are sent off balance and almost fall over.

Scene 32: Survival ship control room.

On the screen we can see the transport ship continuing to fire on the Survival Ship, moving closer as it does.

Captain Topic: They really don’t believe us, A stand by EMT systems.

A: Acknowledged.

Scene 33: Space (CGI)

The transport ship fires another shot at the Survival Ship.

Scene 34: Survival ship control room.
The ship shakes violently with the force of the resulting explosion.

A: EMT systems ready, but the coordinator still isn’t Captain.

Captain Topic: I don’t care just activate it now.

A: Activating EMT systems.

Scene 35: Space (CGI)
The survival ship dematerialises with the same effect as before.

Scene 36: Transport ship control room.
The crew stare at the screen that previously showed the survival ship.

Crew member: I don’t believe it.

Captain: Neither do I, report this back to Earth and make sure all prisoners are still in their cells.
