Thunder Zone Guidelines
First and foremost we at Thunder Zone would like to thank you for stopping by and checking out our wonderful site. There is however a few guidelines/rules that we ask you follow. To make it as simple as possible we have broken them down into 3 sections.

Section 1 (Basic Rules)

1) This is a board for members of all ages so we ask that you please keep the swearing to as minimal as possible. We also discourage the use of fake swearing by this I mean swear words were you change a letter or two in an actual swear word.

2) No flaming, arguing with other members remember this is a friendly board. Try to keep it as friendly as possible; Even though you may not like someone, it's best to just restrain yourself (If a serious problem arises contact the correct staff via pm system.

3) Please do not post topics that contain hacking, cheating and basically items along those lines.

4) Thunder Zone has a great advertising system to get your board up and running the way it should be. To ensure that your board advertisement goes through please follow all the pinned topics in the advertisement section. Please note that advertisement is only allowed in the 5th floor. You may however advertise in your sig. Pm advertising is not allowed so please save everyone the trouble and don’t do it.

5) The board is categorized in a easy simple manor for you some categories may have different rules then the rest once again please make sure to read all pinned topics.

Section 2 (Common Sense)

The Following applies to both Guests and Members



Ensure a friendly atmosphere to our members and guests

Respect the privacy of our members

Encourage responsible use of our forums and discourage activities which disrupt our community and reduce the value of our services to our visitors (however try not to backseat moderate this will only cause more work for our staff)

Encourage the freedom of expression and exchange of information in a mature and responsible manner (If you give out your personal information which is not recommended, be careful who you give it to.)



It is your right to challenge the Administrator (While challenging the administrator please do not start out your first sentence with swear words. The administrator is more then happy to talk with you but you will only worsen things if you do not take a mature approach to things.)

Spam can be a problem here is a few things to try and avoid.




Excessive off-topic threads

Posting pointless stuff

Flooding the forum

Post-Count farming

Inciting a forum war

Out war-style links

Blatant advertising

Messages without content

Fraudulent activity (Pyramid schemes, chain letters, etc.)

One word posts like Cool, NEAT!!!!, etc.



Piracy will not be tolerated!
You may not discuss, encourage, or think about the following on these forums:



Seeking help to create cracks, trainers, and key-generators

Seeking missing files that are supplied with installation CD(s)

Admitting to possess pirated software, cracks, trainers, and key-generators

Admitting to distribute pirated software, cracks, trainers, keys, and key-generators

Anything along those lines try to avoid at all costs.


Harassment


We do not allow any attacks to anyone on the staff (moderators, site admins....) or members.

Harassment can be a very touch subject if someone asks you to stop pming them emailing him or her etc. do so.

Sexual harassment is not allowed there is a fine line between joking and being serious so be watchful of what you say to members and staff alike.


Porn And Other Sexually Offensive Material


You MUST NOT post any pornographic image in the forums. If it is slightly adult themed (this also may not contain any nudity), you can post a link to it and WARN what is inside, the moderator may edit the link out at any time without notice (If a moderator removes the link you may contact them via pm and ask why it was removed).

No Cybering (dirty talk with members/staff)

No sexual conversations within the forum


Moderation and Bans
If you were a bad boy/girl and were temporary banned:



You may not evade a ban. Doing so will drastically lengthen your ban.

You may not publicly complain about or demand a reason for another user's ban, the deletion of a message, or the deletion/closure of a thread. Any discussion about warnings, bans, message deletion, thread deletion and thread closure should be done over private email between the person concerned and the moderators

You may not re-edit a message that has been edited by a moderator


Others


Do not post discussions that are repeated over and over and over with no other purpose than to disrupt conversation. Do not disrupt multiple threads in order to get your view out.

You may not abuse your ability to post in HTML in HTML-enabled forums

You may not post graphically-disturbing images

You may not register multiple accounts with intent to violate any part of this CoC.

CoC Stands for Code of Conduct, such as this one.



Section 3 (Understanding The Floors)

Floor 1
Floor one is the basics of the forum the introduction and suggestion area.

Floor 2
Floor two is the general area on the board. It has topics such as forum games, common interests, news/current events, general chat.

Floor 3
Floor 3 things are much much more mature. The debates/discussions are more mature such as politics, real life issues, jobs, etc. It also contains the Heavy Debate topic. Heavy Debate is the more hardcore topic on the board and the rules are slightly altered in there.

Floor 4
The Fourth Floor is all about support. There Invisionfree/Zetaboard support, computer support, Thunder Zone support, Life support.


Floor 5
Gfx and the good ole resource section of the board, from skins, to premade images. You need something for your board this is the place to be.

Floor 6
Floor 6 is all about your admining tools. Here you can advertise your board, do activity swaps, get affliates, request staff members and a few more odds and ends.

Billboard
This is the last floor on Thunder Zone. Here competitions are held and prizes are given away. It also is a great way to advertise your board.


That covers the basics of Thunder Zones rules and guidelines. Remember to best enjoy yourself here try to follow the rules. If you follow the rules it will ensure that you get the best experience that you can here at Thunder Zone. On a side note, make sure to read all of the pinned topics before posting in a category by doing this you ensure yourself that you are following the rules to the best of your knowledge.
