Lyra loved being able to think on her feet. Improvisation had to be one of the greatest tools on Rune-Midgard, and Lyra fully believed in improv-abuse.
It was kind of difficult to explain why she's a terrorist against Madaline with Madaline present, but she had a great plan to get rid of her. Obviously, Madaline needed medical attention. Lyra managed to talk the older Gunslinger girl, Kitty, into taking the Zaizen to the Church for healing. Lyra made sure to do this carefully and sincerely, and in front of the rest of the group. There was the possibilty that Madaline would blab who caused the attack, but like hell anyone could track Lyra down.
Even though Lyra ushered the group into the inn. It wasn't much of a problem, really; Lyra was good friends with the innkeeper, and she knew he wouldn't betray her, but she had to make sure people in the lobby didn't see her. Lyra let Caele order them a room so they could talk privately and made sure she walked in the midst of the group to the room.
Like the rest of the bedrooms in the inn, the room was swathed in creams and browns and maroons. Lyra locked the door behind her and drew the curtains across the windows, casting the room in a glowing reddish light. Caelestis stood next to his SoulLinker friend, who sat in a chair with her legs tucked up underneath her. The tall Knight stood lookout next to the door, his arms folded over his chest. He watched Lyra with his eyes slightly narrowed.
She grinned -- at him, and the Lady Knight and the remaining Slinger girl -- and put her hands on her hips. "Okay. Y'all have questions? Go ahead 'n' ask."
[And yes, that was my not-so-clever way of dropping Liliane. xDDD;]

I'm lost and alone, and I'm fair and I'm free You am what you is and I are who I be What I'm lacking in strength, I make up for in smarts You keep your stability, I'll keep my heart

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken Your best friend always sticking up for you -- even when I know you're wrong Can you imagine no first dance, freeze-dried romance, five-hour phone conversation The best soy latte that you ever had... and me...?
