The Video Game Discussion Topic, 'Cause we need one

Yes Mineral Town is fun but there are so many glitches.

When you have an entire day with nothing to do but play the game, you can beat it.

I had a feeling it was something along those lines, because you have to play A LOT if you can beat a game like that as fast as you did

I beat the game in just about... three hours at most. Of course, I've beaten it quite a few times, and I'm sure when I first played through it from beginning to end on the GBA (the reason I beat it on that platform first is that it had a save-anywhere system) it took me much longer.

I think I played it around two and a half hours. Keep in mind I didn't go back and try for 100%.

Is it harder on the SNES or something? Because I remember that Super Mario Brothers 2 was really hard for me on SNES but I was getting pretty far in the GBA adaptation

The SNES version seemed to be quite normal for me. :c

Well, the last time I played the SNES version of SMB2 was grade school.

At any rate, I'm definitely gonna plug DKC in again when I get home.

I got super mario world yesterday and I'm gonna give that one a go too because I fucking love it.

Trivia: Super Mario World was the first video game I've ever seen, while DKC was the first I ever got/played

ok I got a few things to say

DKC = The reason I'm such an angry and bitter person. This game has been pumping my blood pressure since Childhood. I did beat the ice level but now I'm having trouble on the next section (stage 3 I think of the factory world)

SMW: Doesn't save very well I'm gonna get a refund and see if I can find another copy some other time.

Batman Arkham Asylum: Deargodthisgameisawesome. But I do have some complaints.

1. It's based entirely around The Joker, and you only get a few cameos of my favorite villains (Penguin, Riddler, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze). Why is everything based around The Joker? Yeah he's cool, and I like him, but can't we have a game exclusively about Penguin and stopping some kind of underworld smuggling operation or something? Or maybe a mass hysteria caused by Scarecrow? etc etc.

2. EVERY CHARACTER HAS BLUE EYES! I swear to god, it's become a running joke with me and my brother that Gotham is some kind of blue eyed utopia. I think about 80 - 90% of the characters have blue eyes, according to their character bios. I don't know if this is the game's fault or the writers of the batman comics.

3. Where the fuck is Robin/Nightwing? Why is Robin being continuously shafted? Are we ashamed of Robin or something? I always liked Robin, and even though people make fun of him a lot (same with Aquaman), he's pretty damn cool. He can be portrayed darkly, and as a super bad ass very well. Just watch Teen Titans if you don't believe me.

4. There are a lot of mementos of bad guys all around Arkham but where are they all? They could've thrown in a few smaller (and more realistic) bad guys as mini bosses or something. Characters more along the lines of Victor Zsasz. If you can put in a character as ridiculous as Killer Croc, who is the most ridiculous batman villain by far, there wasn't much of a reason not to.

I ony have 36% of the game complete and I love it to death so far. The story is very engaging, the riddles get you thinking, it's giving me a really good length in terms of game play, and it's very addicting.

I'll wait til I finish it to give my verdict though

So I basically spent 24 hours trying to beat Zelda: The Minish Cap.

I only have two elements.
