Title: Message Board Update Or Site Updates Are Needed.
26 cents lover - March 2, 2009 06:46 PM (GMT)
I've came here a few times now, and I am wondering if at any time this site is updated? I don't see any concert schedule for 2009 and I am hoping they are touring.
It's hard to plan my concert scheduling if I don't know where or when a group is going to be around in my part of the world ;) is there anyone at all who can fill in some of the blanks here? :D I really would appreciate it.
It's too bad this site doesn't appear to be more active, I see where there are alot of fans too, it just needs some kind of a Jump start I guess...
Well Thanks for listening, I hope we are all enduring life and keeping Music going through our wee little heads....

Hi there,
Unfortunetly the message board and the site are run by different people, so we can't update it. I would also love to know about tour dates. :)
It seems that the Wilk's website has never been updated much..but hopefully there will be another update soon. :)
Thanks for coming back, it's always great to see new faces here!

Hey all,
The tour dates aren't set in stone yet that's why they're not on their website. I know that their manager talked to Steve last week about solidifying the dates so they should be up fairly soon.
Also, some radio stations aren't picking up the new single, 'You Heal Me' so they're trying to sort all that out right now.
I'll keep you all updated and let you know about the tour dates as soon as I do, cool?
:) Hope everyone's having a rockin' 2009.

Thank you Vicky and Elizabeth,
I do appreciate your replies here, I hope that I don't come across as a complainer cause I'm not. I'm simply in a much better position to attend concerts this year and need to know when and where I can go for some of my bands.
I am glad to be here at the site, it does have alot of good features and some really nice folks as well. I don't hear too much of The Wilkinsons here in Utah, but I'm looking for CD's to buy, something I can get my paws on immediately and run to the car and stick it in the player, so I don't have to wait for it to be shipped out to me.
I'm impatient that way
I'm going to keep checking back and see where their tours are taking them this year. Who knows I may run into you folks at one of the concerts, if you travel with and where the band plays that is ;) we may need to wear name tags though, or have a Wilkinsons get together at a bar, or resturant before the show, this way we can relax and meet one another better. :)
I hope your doing good and staying outta trouble now lol well til later.

I agree about the site. I miss Amandas Journals she used to do. I wonder who runs the site. It's not hard to post updates.

Hey you guys,
So here's the deal....
The single hasn't been picked up at all at radio because the song got a pretty rough review and everyone in Canadian country radio read it- not so awesome. :|
Since radio isn't being nice to the Wilks, I think it's our time to step up and make them realize that they DO have a large following here in Canada because the dude who wrote the review thinks otherwise.
As for the website, I know that the girl who runs it, Ashley, is also in charge of other multiple country band websites so we should give her some slack. Plus, we're in a bit of a rut right now since nothing's really happening so there's nothing to update you all with.
Hopefully we can fix this and give the Wilks a boost. A know a crappy review isn't great for the self-esteem so let's all jut keep requesting 'When I'm Old' at radio and maybe even email CMT some requests for 'You Heal Me' since it's playing there.
Thanks for your help, all.
