I have a confession..., Help?

I have a confession...a long time ago, when I was young and bored I made a Facebook account.

*hangs head in shame*

I haven't touched it since. Heck, all I have is a password--logging in is the only thing I know how to do. Lemme put it this way: I've used MSN 100 times as often as I've used Facebook.

*raises head a little bit*

Here's the thing, though. I just got an e-mail telling me I have a "friend request." Meaning: I've been found! Other meaning: Even if I do nothing else, I feel that I should confirm this request (as I do know this person), and set up a basic...whatever it is people do on Facebook.

So, I need help. I can vaguely remember a few of you forumites saying that you use Facebook in a long ago discussion--can I get some instruction? How do I do this stuff? And what exactly is a Facebook good for?

I have it, as some already know....

Its good for finding friends from highschool, college, work, mostly people you already know/know of though.

you can upload pictures real easy and as many as you want.
With groups its real nice cause the group admin can send messages to any members... so you in theroy could have a SASHS hideaway group (it can be found in searches) or you can make it hidden.

anyway overall its a pretty well structured site, just do go adding like 100,000,000 app's to your profile... (it gets annoying)...

anyway just me rambling while still being stranded in afghanistan.....

cant wait to get back.

BTW C.Noize did you order a copy of the bucs anniversary DVD?
just curious if not... get one... they are in.... (with a singalong of the corps song too.)

Hmm...well maybe I'll give it a shot. I just need to find the time to sit down and learn how to work the thing. Maybe tomorrow.

so BTW... anyone whos looking to make a dvd project... I now have experience from idea... thru the process of working with the replicator to get the disks made...

Facebook isn't too bad at first, most of the buttons are pretty easy to find.. I'll explain a little later when I have more time.

Yeah, I've pretty much found all the buttons. I'm just not sure--what does one do with a Facebook account?

Ah, never mind. The Buccaneers trumpet section has begun using Facebook (in conjunction with a Yahoo! Group) as a primary means of communication.
