So I went to see Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood down at University of Michigan last night... it was a great show! Brad Sherwood is MUCH better in this show than he was in Whose Line... in fact he pretty much led the show! Colin was great too. (I love the little brown nose comment he made about the Pistons crushing the Spurs.. mwahaha) They did this one really bizarre skit. It was where they did the alphabet thing (where each sentence starts with the next letter of the alphabet) but they did it while walking barefoot and blindfolded on a floor covered in mousetraps! Really strange, but hilarious.
If you're a fan of Whose Line? and Brad and Colin have a show near you I'd recommend going to see them! |

A few months back, my friend Ashley invited me to come along with her to her brother's college where the guys put on a show. I must say, it was GREAT!! Like watching a live whose line! I thought it wouldn't be the same without Ryan and Wayne, but the guys held their own very well. Definately worth seeing.

A month or so ago I went to see Drew Carey's show. His show features himself, Greg Proops, Chip Eston, and a few other peoples who's name escapes me (Mimi from the Drew Carey show and a couple other guys). Oh, and Laura Hall was there too (thought that was kind of cool)
Frigging awesome show. I'd say better than Colin & Brad (it's pretty much the same stuff only with more people... and Greg Proops is the man) Also, go see their show at a casino or club, not at a university. They don't hold back the dirty stuff at casino/club shows like they do at university shows (the Colin&Brad show I saw was at a university and was pretty clean) and, for me anyways, makes the show so much more enjoyable. Though Drew Carey likes to use the f bomb a bit too much IMO. Anyway if you liked Colin & Brad keep an eye out for Drew's show! On a somewhat related topic, have you seen Drew Carey's Green Screen show? They show it ocassionally on Comedy Central. It's like Whose Line but with... animations. Really weird, but actually kind of funny. I prefer plain old Whose Line, though. These smilies rock. |
