But I also like Mr Anchovy from Vocational Guidance Counsellor, MR PITHER! and the man interviewing Raymond Luxury Yacht, the cross-dressing lumberjack - those being but a few of my favourite characters of his.

I have to say I really dislike that whole scene from the meaning of life - well the bits in the house with the children singing, and at the end, after the big musical number when they're talking about...*ahem* alternative methods to selling the kids for medical research...the use of the kids in something as crude as that whole scene just made me cringe, I was thinking 'NOOOO don't make the children say/sing that!' It's not like me to get outraged by things like that, but I have to say I don't like the way they used the children in that scene....*ahhh* okay mini-rant over...back to Michael..

I also like the man from Spectrum when they're talking about Deja Vu and something 'very strange' keeps happening to him...

yep, I can remember, we' were talking about Mr. Pither on the "old" Python-Academy too. No wonder, he is one of my favourite Palin-characters.
I have two other favourite ones: Mr Gumby, Ken Shabby, Cardin....

I think Mr Gumby is one os THE BEST characters from the whole series! Pither is fantastic, Galahad is fab, obviously the Lumberjack (!!!) The ex leper... theres just so many!
