Title: Top ratings in SA
Amanda - March 2, 2007 07:07 AM (GMT)
Woohoo! Go Andrew - Andrew is ranked 9th in the country on composite ratings...
Come come now - I don't see many other CT players in the top few - this is embarrassing! We need to kick JHB's ass and get a more even distribution, don't you think?
Other names I recognise (my sincere apologies if I missed you - y'all know what I'm like with your names at the moment):
Seraj is up there at 22.
41. Simon H
48. Grant VD
53. Chairman Marv
60. Adam K
66. Emile W
I think I'll cut off here at 70.

I thought you might have missed Thomas...
Thomas Van Heerden (39)
Charles Gao (65)

I haven't been caring enough about ratings to make an effort :/ that's why.
Plus I'm a scrub :P
Amanda - March 2, 2007 04:41 PM (GMT)
Ah yes, I did miss Thomas.
I thought Charles Gao was from JHB?
Kestell - March 5, 2007 07:44 AM (GMT)
Charles is sort of from all over (DBN originally I think)... But he has been playing in CT events alot, so I guess he resides here now.

Although I'm sure there will be a cover up in effect by the time month in review rolls around, here we finally have proof of an actual Durban player (that is, still paying in durban) cracking the top 20 composite:
18 Jaco J. Prinsloo 1871 Pretoria, South Africa
19 Reuben P. Cronje 1869 Hilton, South Africa
20 Stefan Vesely 1868 Bloemfontein, South Africa

What exactly are you implying? Hidden in the web of lies that is the above post, there are statements that indicate that:
1) Magic is played in Durban by real live people
2) There will be another MiR
Now we can dismiss point one as a joke and it's proof as being evidence of elite hacking skills. Point two is still however up for debate. Unfortunately some financial institutes think that weekends are inefficient and should thus be ignored. This results in some people being unable to attend PTQs and also unable to produce said articles. Until this disturbance in the Force is addressed, MiR will be MIA. Aside from the girls, the only reason i play magic is to "get" the MiR jokes.

OMFGRoflolicopterzor! I didn't know that was possible but I am sure Reuban will make a plan.
Two things happened today: first I find out that I have Sunday off, then I find out that the Joburg PTQ is moved to Sunday. Woo Ha! Doubling the Terrorist action.
